Re: Windows 7 won't allow me to create a new folder
Windows does not create a new folder.
Right click offers many options, including "create new portfolio" but not a new folder. By clicking on the record button create does nothing. This is something new, but I can't think of anything that I did recently to make it. It sounds like a permissions problem, but I can't find a solution.
Have you checked the folder permissions create? Pull up the properties of the parent folder and select the Security tab and click the Advanced button. Double-click the user, and you will see permissions of created files.

Suddenly and without any warning, I can't create a simple "new folder"; an attempt to 'right click' offers me only: 1) a folder compressed (zip), or, 2.) a Briefcase. Why the simple "new folder" disappeared off the coast of the menu list, and HOW do I get BACK?
If I open Explorer and try to create a new folder from there, I can "click"New folder"button all DAY, but it does NOTHING.
What happens here?
I am running Windows 7 and so did 15-16 months, without any real problem, so far.
If anyone can help with this, I would CERTAINLY appreciate it.

Windows updates won't allow me to change the settings.
Running Vista on a new Satellite from Toshiba. Updates Windows refuses to allow me to change the settings; It is set to download/update automatically, but I want to see and select updates. When I click on this box, then ok, the authorization window returns. I click 'ok', but there is nothing else that a flicker of the cursor runs. Nothing else comes up, and if I have to cancel the window updates, it is up to the automatic update. I am the only user and have always been administrator.
It's too late to install MSE or any other antivirus application now.
You will find information about any Recovery hidden partition manufacturer support pages.
If you use the disks you created, you would use the OS disk first then the drivers disk.

Do not allow me to create a new folder
Hi guys, I'm relatively new to dreamweaver so I hope I make a fundamental error but when I right-click the blank space in the folder, the option box 'create a folder' is canceled and I'm not able to click on it. Can someone explain what I did to make this happen?
Just guessing here, but DW needs to know where you want to place the new folder
Select and right click on the folder in which you want to contain the new folder

Whenever I try to pick my file association for .tif file to open with windows Player 7 will allow me to open the file once, but do not allow me to set it as the permanent, even if program brava reader is defined as the ongoing .tiff files of brava? Everyone is not how to solve this problem?
Hello J.burnett,
I advise you to only consult with the support of Brava, because I've never used their player. I'm just relaying information on their Web site.
Sometimes a program install and work but not all of the components work correctly, if it's not compatible.
Brava support would be the ones to give you the most recent information.Thank you

Upgrading to Windows XP 8 will allow me to cancel the scores of disc fusion?
Hello
I've updated before, but I don't remember if the process will allow me to reconfigure the disk partitions. I have a couple of discs that I have merged into a single partition and I think that contributes to performance problems so I would like to cancel it during an XP to upgrade to Windows 8.
Will it be possible?
Thank you
Lee
Hello
To install Windows 8.1 of Windows XP, you need to install it from a DVD of Windows 8.1 and perform a new installation. During the new installation, you can format all partitions and configure them at your leisure.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/upgrade-from-Windows-Vista-XP-tutorial
Note: Before moving to Windows 8, save the backup of your data on external hard drive.
Please see the following link for detailed information about the tasks you can perform on the disk using the disk partition.

I created a new folder, but it won't let me save a web page in it, can anyone help please
Hello
E-mail folders are virtual and you can save emails in them. To save a Web Page put it
in a real folder you would have a file on the hard drive.I hope this helps.

Why I can not create a new folder in Windows Contacts and rename it?
I keep my contacts in Windows Contacts, divided into folders named category. In the past, I was able to press the button "New folder" to create a new folder, and then rename the folder. Now, I can create a new folder, but Windows doesn't allow me the no - name. As soon as I type the name of the new folder and press ENTER, it goes back on behalf of the "new folder". Can someone explain what happened?
If possible, although I honestly don't see how the shortcut should influence. Try this, just delete your shortcut, then take the icon on the left side of the address bar of the 'work' contacts folder and drag your desktop and drop it. This example is part of a control panel, but it works the same:

Partition Windows 10 does not start after you have created the new internal drive
I'm running OS X 10.11.2.
I have set up a training camp 10 Windows on my Macbook Pro sometime ago, but today I realized that I need more storage. I watched how do so online and came across this thread:How to resize my bootcamp partition without deleting chtol. I followed the instructions, but could not know how do I find my Windows partition.
So I think that I have the problem described here: repair Boot Camp after having created the new partition. I did what Christopher Murphy described on the first page and this error message appeared when I pressed "w

I deleted from the extra without internal hard drive name in the hope that he'll fix it, but it didn't.
I would like to enlarge my Windows partition, but at this point, as long as I can access my Windows Bootcamp partition, that would be great!
EDIT: I unfortunately do not back to the time Machine.
Resizing Windows partitions is not officially supported by Apple - Boot Camp: resize the Windows partition .
