  • OfficeJet 6600 e-all-in-one: Wireless connectivity with the new router problem

We had the printer since 12 months, workin with no problems.

Just got a new modem/router (NETGEAR V7610) installed as part of the NBN implementation and I can't get the printer to connect to the new router. 5 and 2.4 G active networks. The two defined newtorks on security WPA2-PSK [AES].

The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

-The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

-The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

    Anything else I can try?

Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.

  • Unable to connect with the modem router e2500

I have an old Speedstream 5100 modem hooked to my router e2500. Everything works well except if for any reason any my modem disconnects from the ISP I can not log in via the route to reconnect it. I need to connect a cable modem to computer direct run connect script then modem plug in router all is well again.

Any ideas why the connection to the modem router is blocked?

    Thnaks,

My Speedstream has only an Ethernet connection so I did not know that he resembled a router for the local network. I changed the mode of bridge on the PPoE configuration on e2500 / Speedstream and reconnected to the ISP on the e2500 configuration screen. Who can solve the problem of reconnecting from now, it is run on the e2500.

One thing I see now is since I left the modem IP set to 192.168.0.X can't do it all through the e2500. Is it because my DHCP in e2500 is configured with 192.168.1.X range IP modem is not covered in my network? If I directly connect Speedstream and place you IP 192.168.1.X will become visible on LAN?

You are unable to access the modem even if you have a PPPoE connection. For PPPoE the E2500 will not need an IP address from the modem so it does not have DHCP on WAN port and so we never see. When you try to access the address of 192.168.0. * the E2500 it will route through the tunnel PPP to the ISP.

If you connect your computer directly to the SpeedStream it should automatically get a DHCP address (assuming that the computer is still ongoing on the DHCP protocol and not with a static IP address and the SpeedStream does not automatically neutralize the DHCP server in Bridge mode). If you have configured a static IP address on the computer, you must change the IP address to an address of 192.168.0. *.

    Hello

    You are welcome

There is only a relatively small selection of wireless cards that work in your laptop as the bios contains a 'white list' authorized wireless network cards - anything not on this list will throw an error "Device not taken in charge" at startup and the laptop does not start until the device is removed.

Regarding the Page 55 of your Maintenance & Service Guide, the only compatible card that will give you the two bands (2,4 GHz & 5 GHz) is listed as the Realtek 8188BC8 802.11a/b/g/n 2 × 2 WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS adapter Combo.

As I have not personally used a laptop with this card, I recommend you to check with HP when just ordering to make sure that it is exactly what you need.

  • C410a - wireless not connect to the Verizon FIOS router - fails MAC filtering

I just bought an all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium C410a printer.  It does not connect to the Verizon FIOS Actiontek MI424WR router, failed the test of MAC filtering.  Spent half an hour on the phone with Verizon (no resolution as they checked the filtering MAC is turned off in the router) and 3 hours with HP (no resolution).  Sharing the printer on a home network defeated the purpose wireless and is not acceptable because I don't want to have another PC switched on just to get to the printer.  Someone was able to resolve the failure "MAC filtering" wireless?

Without the MAC address filtering test indicates the problem is inconsistent with other available error messages.

There may not be a real problem of filtering.  I saw this message associated with WEP key mismatches secutiry and a host of other issues.

To what extent do you have on the installation.  We can work from there.

    Host family

P.S. I saw messages asking people to try to disconnect the router from the internet while doing the configuration of the printer.  Have you tried?  Sometimes the router check with the service provider before it will allow a device to join the network.  It bypasses this audit.

  • Satellite C660 WIFI does not connect with the channel 1 of the router

    Hello

I have this problem for several months. I connect my laptop with the D - link DIR-615 as a WAP browser.

I can't remember, but the fact is that I can't connect more with channel 1 of my WAP.
Connection with the other channels is no problem.

Other laptops or the available have no problem connecting to channel 1.

    All know what to watch?

Where have you changed channels settings: within the router or the wireless network adapter?
Is that it s any laptop you are using. It s always a matter of the WLan card that is integrated.

Usually, you can change the Wlan card settings in the properties.
Go to Device Manager-> Wlan card-> right click Properties-> Advanced tab
Here, you would be able to change the available settings.

  • Unable to connect with router wifi - Satellite L555-110

    I use the following configuration:

    Satellite L555-110
    Modell Nr.: PSLW8E-01E00NGR
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium (with all updates)

I bought this Book 3 weeks ago.

My laptop won't connect to my WiFi router. I use the drivers provided by Windows Update.
I also tested the following Realtek drivers:

    RTL8191_8192_SE_WindowsDriver_2007.1.1002.2009.F00 62.P0525_ISS_1.00.0130.L

The connection still does not work.

I always think that there must be a driver problem, because with another book, the wireless connection works fine.
I can't find any solution, it's the readers makes me crazy.

Is there advice, or is this still the problem of driver windows 7?

    Thanks for your help

    nofact

Each laptop comes with preinstalled OS. You can use 32 or 64 bit OS (recovery Toshiba original image). Recovery image contains Toshiba driver WLAN tested and functional.

So my question is: have you noticed some WIFI problems with this original configuration of Toshiba or later after Windows update?
Please check all of the updates before installing them and do not allow drivers to update.

  • No connection with the router

After doing a scan of normal viruses with avast anti-virus suddenly my network card started going crazy. I have had no connection to my router. When I checked my network connection there was nothing... no ip without dns server addresses nothing. Also no packets were sent or received. I have a toshiba tecra S2 and I reinstalled my card three times already everytime with the latest network drivers. It #s also no problem not related to my router because the two other home pc only works very well.
    hope you can help me

    Hello

you said that you already reinstalled the NIC. And it did not work.
So, I have a small suggestion for you:
To test if your card is not working properly, download "UBCD4WIN Live CD" (Live - very easy to use Windows XP CD from the XP CD) and burn it to a CD.

    www.UBCD4Win.com

After that starts with it and try to establish a connection with your laptop to your router. If you get a connection, then something in your BONES is broken and I suggest you do a system
    recovery.
If no connection is given, try a Biosupdate and replace the network cable.

If nothing will work, bring your machine to an ASP (Authorized Service Partner) for repair or at least a material balance.

    Good luck &
    Welcome them
