  I try to install PE11 on Windows 7. After you run setup.exe, I get the message that install shield wizard allows you to remove Adobe PE11.   Some people have theorized that the problem you are experiencing occurs because PSE1.0.1 only reads the first digit of the version of Internet Explorer on your computer. Therefore, if you have IE10 or IE11 (which you have probably), elements presume you IE1 and returns the error "you must install Internet Explorer 4.0 or more."
