Original title: no sound

I joined a website and he had me download a music player digital neilson when uninstalled I don't have her more material said lack the material gives 41 download error code for its online to correct? I don't have a windows disc.

Hello

Code 41

Windows successfully loaded the device of this hardware, but driver cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

I suggest the following methods and check if it helps to solve the problem.

Method 1:
This problem occurs if you install a non-Plug-and-Play device driver, but Windows cannot find the device. Here are some things you can try to solve this problem.

If the Troubleshooting Wizard does not resolve the problem, do one of the following:

  1. If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, connect the device, and then click on Search the hardware changes to reinstall the driver.
  2. If the material was not removed, the driver files may be obsolete. In this case, update the driver in Device Manager. In the device properties dialog box, click the driver tab, and then click put to update driver to start the Upgrade Wizard to update the material. Follow the instructions to update the driver.
  3. If the device is a non-Plug-and-Play device, you may need to install a newer version of the driver. To install non-Plug-and-Play devices, use the Add Hardware Wizard. Click Start and then click Run. In the Open box, type hdwwiz.cpl.

Download and install the device drivers for some audi device / sound (hardware) is installed on your computer.

Not knowing what brand specific & model computer and/or what brand specific & model device audio, high fidelity, you have, at this stage I can't better direct you to exactly what you need - but you should be able to review the specifications of your computer on the web site of builders/drivers/support download and get what you need.

  • I got sudeenly. No sound. Stopped in middle of session error code: C00D11BA 80040256

Above is codes I got sudeenly. No sound. Stopped in middle of session. Couldn't come back. Says no audio installed.

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

2 are you getting this error code during playback of Windows Media Player?

    3. are you this error during playback of a file in particular?

    4. are you able to hear the sound?

I suggest you try the following and see if it helps.

    1. Quit other programs that may be using your sound device, and then try to play the file again.

2 install an updated driver. To see if an updated driver is available, use Windows Update, go to the website of the manufacturer of your audio device.

    3. If you have multiple audio devices installed on your computer, try to use another. The selected audio device might not support Secure Audio Path (SAP).

    To use another audio device

    a. click organize, and then click Options.

    b. click the devices tab, double-click speakers.

    c. Select the audio device, click on a different device, and then click OK.

    4. make sure that the audio device does not work correctly. To troubleshoot device problems, see Windows Help and Support or refer to the documentation of your audio device.

    5. make sure that you have a sound device installed on your computer. If not, install a sound device (for example, a sound card) and then try to play the file again. If you are unable to install a sound device in your computer, you may be able to solve the problem by attaching USB headset or USB speakers to your computer instead.

  • Sound problems. Error code:-5009: 0x8002802b installing drivers

Original title: problem with headphones from Windows 8.1 update

I downloaded Windows 8.1 because my computer kept bugging me to do this. Every since then, I had problems with the sound on my computer. I "cancelled" my laptop HP for Windows 8, but sound problems remain.

I have a laptop of HP 2000-2d19WM. I think the problem is with Realtek. I was advised to uninstall and reinstall realtek online. I've uninstalled it. Now, I can not re - install. I downloaded it from the Web to Realtek website and I get an error to start the wizard. It says Error Code:-5009: 0x8002802b when I do the Downloader. So, I downloaded the new drivers for Realtek via it HP Web site and "cancelled" my laptop HP for Windows 8. The problem is better but not completely gone.

The sound is really weird and sounds as if I am under water when I use my headset. Even when I listen without headphones the sound is very low, no matter what I do. I'm not a computer genius, but I'm not a novice either so I was trying to find a solution for about 2 days now.

    I am beyond frustrated.

I think it worked. I tried this but I also tried updating the drivers again and buying a whole new set of headphones. Between those three things, the sound seems to work again. Thanks Aarsh Sahai and thanks to everyone here for your help!

  • No sound, unable to update windows, a variety of error codes and dssenh.dll problems... Help?

I'm running a Toshiba with Windows Vista. The 24th of this month, I have installed the updates for my computer, but when I rebooted I had absolutely no noise. I double checked to make sure it was not cut, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and then I tried to do a system restore. None of them worked.

Then I tried to check updates more see if this would help to solve my current problem and began to find more mistakes, such as "could not find updates, error code: 800 b 0001 ' or 'Code error 8024402F' these are mistakes that I see most.

Then when I go to open certain programs I get errors that say something about ' bad image: problem with Dssenh.dll "when I try to save it again, I get other errors with about 5 other .dll files.

Of course, I went to the Microsoft website long enough... and I went through multiple options and steps, but nothing helped. So I thought that my last option is to ask.

The last thing I can find is to download the "System update readiness Tool" to check for problems.

Well, I can't download or run because of my error '800 b 0001'.

I don't know what I would do at this point... Help?

Before the update from the update began when my computer was being restarted... I had a black screen and had a weird three-step process that was supposed to be recommended. Meanwhile, there was a flood of information that crosses the screen.
I ran a scan complete antivirus just in case, but it could be a virus that has not been detected?

If anyone has any information, it is greatly appreciated... I don't know what to do.

McAfee (and Norton) applications are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves!

    1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    4 test cycle.

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

You can use the restore points for Windows 7 to return to a previous state, when your computer was working properly.

    System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/system-restore

Important: System Restore will return all system files not as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.

Feel free to post your request here on the Forums of Windows, we would be happy to help you.
