• The file name is changed when the form is submitted

  I have a form which, when completed and returned, prompted me to add the form of an answer file. The form has been returned with a button 'Send', and the URL has been defined "mailto:[email protected].» I changed the button to use Javascript (so I could shoot a field information and put it in the subject line). Now, when I receive a form, the name of the attachment is different from the name of the original file.

  File name: NURF_distributed.pdf

  Name of the attached file: NURF_distributed.pdf - Adobe Acrobat Pro.pdf

  My question is, how do I get the name of the file attached to the original file name?

  It is correct.

  The appentix of viewers in the name of the PDF file name is because the form was "dirty" when the mailTo action has been executed.

  Dirty means, changes made to the form when not registered.

  When you save the form before the action, attachment wll have its original name.

  Or add this script to your form and run in front of the mailTo action.

  Event.Target.Dirty = false;

  Select Start, Control Panel, system, and then click change settings (to the right of the window), the computer name tab and click the Edit button. Change the name in the computer name box, and then click OK.

• Win7 x 64 HomePremium - it seems that I can't get rid of an old share name, despite a complete reinstallation of the operating system. Where are stored the share names? Is it possible to change this number?

  In a previous installation, I got the share name of "DData." I did a reinstall & sharing name appeared when I tried to use a different name. I tried to remove it through "Computer records management/Shared/actions." I'm assuming that the share name is imported from an old file NTUSER.dat. I don't really know where the actions are stored. I searched the registry for it, nothing helps. How can I get rid of this useless part?

  Share names are kept in the system hive, not in the user hive. You can remove them as follows:

  1 log in under an administrator account.

  2. click on the start planet.

  3. type the three letters cmd in the search box.

  4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter

  5. click on "run as Administrator".

  6. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
  net share
  (to see a list of all actions)
  NET share "DData" / delete
  (to remove this part)

• the column 'from' on my mail has changed all the names being a sender

  I get messages from PayPal payment everytime someone pays me. The problem is on one of my email accounts that include all messages from PayPal for payments received from them. Everyone who sent me a payment last week all have the column with name changed to one name instead of that the message was in fact. The column now has only one customer name in it.

  The original message in the column used to say "John doe via Pay Pal"... Now all the messages in the column now say 'jane doe via Pay Pal' when they said originally from john doe. All payments that have been received before and after this specific one payment now all read 'jane doe via Pay Pal' and NOT what they initially said in the column.

  I checked with my webmail provided and verified that the e-mail server and e-mail messages are properly formatted on the webmail with the sender correctly displayed in the column. It seems that the problem lies between the web and where it appears in Thunderbird.

  Go to your address book and find the entrance to PayPal. Delete the name of this contact. It displays the name of the person where you first saved the contact. No doubt when you have selected to always display content from this sender.

  Yesterday, three different actions on our servers had their folder names, replaced by what looks like GUID / their subfolders are unchanged and the files are in tact. Only root in sharing folders have been changed. Windows Server 2008.

  It is usually the cause of these cryptographic records when there is an update. But nothing to worry because they do not affect the actual content of your files.

  We suggest that you try to rename them manually.

  1 data store created for server-side get the file named UK.xls (he has 5 rows)

  3. created with the snapshot process

  After that if I remove 2 lines from the same file and load again to the landing (with the same name). So by re-running the process will take the last file OR do I need to reload the file in the data store every time when there is a change in the file. We also tried with option to work but the last file was not picking up.

  When you create a snapshot, you create a snapshot whose task (provided that you use a data store server-side) can be run from a job. To refresh the data, run the snapshot in a job task. If you create a task at the time the snapshot and the processes that use it, they will automatically connect and will be 'upstream' data through the snapshot in the process. You can then choose whether it would be appropriate to write the snapshot or not (for the effectiveness of performance if you want to do the straight through processing) by activating or deactivating the bucket of data staged that the snapshot written to. The snapshot in the work task means that the data is refreshed.

  For the work of design to the Director, you can refresh the snapshot by running again it manually in the context menu.

  The latest changes to the "Upload to Host FTP" function made it useless - no point using a program such as Muse if I can't easily and automatically upload work to the Web server.  I use BlueHost webhosting with a main area and I have several domains with this account (such as subdomains or folders on this server) - with older versions of Muse when downloading pages it simply opened a warning window to tell me (what I already know) the Web site I am downloading does not point to the main domain BUT now Muse is trying to create a new folder separated into the root directory of the main domain. completely ignoring the directory path that I am giving him - useless!  Why do these crazy changes to the program - and so often - it is very frustrating as amateur ware!

  There are some problems with the download of ftp through Muse, who knows the team of engineers and those will be corrected in a future version of Muse. At this point, the work around would be to export the html code of Muse and then download via some third party client like filezilla ftp.

  I'm not new to Indesign, but I'm not a designer - I am computer scientist - so I wanted to just post this request here to see if anyone had any suggestions.

  Currently, we have several file servers across the country (all very independent of each other). We intend to put in place Microsoft DFS in our environment so data cen be purchased at our data center for situations of DR.

  I understand that Indesign uses UNC paths to find his images / links. I know also that you should keep the old name of the server is going down a path of death so Indesign doesn't take ages trying to find servers before you open the documents.

  I guess what I need to know is, frustrating how's this for developers to have to update all Indesign files with new links, it's something you can do in a batch? Or is it a frame-by-frame process. Y at - it suggestions that anyone can do to minimize the impact? Unfortunately, we must go to this new structure (at the top level in all cases - at lower levels remains the same), but I don't want to cripple our production line having to open hundreds of files and restoring links to images of 1000.

  We run CS6 on Mac and PC.

  I know that put at the point before, but the problem was never properly solved. I have Windows XP. While I was changing the name of one of my Office Word Document files yesterday, all of a sudden all my desktop icons changed under the same name. I can't tell you how it happened. 'My computer', 'My Documents', 'Trash' 'Internet Explorer', 'Adobe Reader', 'Corel Photo House', "MS Paint", "HP Solution Center" and eight other program launch icons, as well as 12 document records and 25 files of Word document on my desk, all had the same name change that I'd just been undertaken with one Word on my desktop files. Each icon has yet launched the successful operation or properly open to its original content.

  I called my friends in the Geek Squad to two different Best Buys and they had never heard of him. I called Microsoft Corp. in Washington State and spoke to someone there. He had never heard of this before but found a couple of reports, one in 2006 and one in 2009. He said that he asked around the House Microsoft and if he could find an answer, post it on the forum.

  No one was able to tell me how it could happen and no one could tell me how to fix it.

  I then, on my own, done a restore of the system in two days. He restored the original names on all the items that I have listed above and it restored the original names on all 12 desktop file folders. But it does not restore the names under the 25 Word document files. Those that I had to open individually to see what they were and then rename them manually the original name. Would enjoy to hear your opinion on this.

  I tried what you wrote... Select all the files, rename one file and all the files are renamed automatically - as I thought - but for a change of my computer, my network places and My Document obtained renamed the sting that it represents in the registry! I tried CTRL + Z file names seem to be restored, but not for the default icons!... Seems interesting...
