  I think you're confused. Oracle (i.e. DB) doesn't care &. However the frontends like SQL * more: and request you substitution (unless the whole set off etc.).

  all credentials are for performs authentication in vCenter initially and they won't be reused.  I would like to use a domain account that is part of the Administrator role in vCenter.

  This is not possible with the Firefox password manager. You can only save a user name and password once for a specific field, so if the name is the same then it does not work.
