Uninstall the update for Sansa. There will be more updates. The updater will connect to SanDisk whenever you start - you don't need that.

  • connection with e250 problems

Hello world! I am completely new to MP3 players, I say that from the beginning, but I am a member of several forums, so I don't know how it works.  I recently bought a refurbed e250 and seem to have problems. I have read the forums for about 2 hours now, but still to come in white, it is so why I write.

Read here and looking at the back of my drive, it seems that I have a V1. When I connect to the computer, all I get is the pop for 'Autoplay - (L) Removable Disk", to collect my computer is not recognizing my drive.

Reading the forums that I saw several times change my player mode MSC or MTP mode when the connection, but I do not have these options. When I go into my settings, I have 2 USB modes listed; USB - HID, which, if I get that I have the option of YES or no. Mode USB keyboard, which, if I go home, I have the multimedia Mode options, presentation Mode, Mode or browser or mouse. I went through all that and still get the same pop up on my pc.

I also read to switch my player to lock (the button next to the headphone jack) and hold down button rewind connecting to the pc force in fashion, and that does not work either.

I read also to switch to lock, press and hold the record button during the connection to reset the player, and that doesn't work anymore.

I mention also, Rockbox installed on my drive there.

I downloaded the firmware driver, and is not fimd my player either.

Of course, that my drive does not work, I am able to listen to music, I can also listen to music on a memory card. I was not able to display photos or videos on my drive but. If I insert a video on my player, it will play sound but not video.

So after all it hits, someone has another option, I can try to get my pc to find my drive? Oh yes, I've tried different USB ports as well as with no luck.

If I leave it to the experts, can someone connect?

The burning question here is the factor of Rockbox.  Gere most readers see some bizarre information in your message, especially if they are not Rockbox running.

USB functionality has always been a little unpredictable when Rockbox is at stake.  For awhile, the player has been implemented to start in the original firmware for USB connectivity.  I have a lot of hours with original firmwares, but Rockbox is a bit challenging for me, because I spend the lion's share of my free time to work with the original SanDisk residing in my players code.

The drive works normally when executing his own?  It seems that you are running in Rockbox.  Was the player shipped to you with the generation of Rockbox responsible?  If Yes, this is the first time I've heard.

Your best solution is to consult the available user, as well as forums, rockbox.org Guide, the guide is a huge 170 pages , or so, last time I saw it.  The link for the guide to the left of the linked page.

A word of wisdom is apropos on Rockbox forums, however.  They seem to have taken the phrase RTFM to heart (Note, this is a family forum, once you learn the etymological details of the acronym, you will notice that once you look in the mirror, your hair will be white like Charlton Heston in the ten commandments.)  I saw posters a bit reprimanded for asking what is obvious, but it is quite welcome here for several reasons.  Every day, I learn something that makes me feel Newbie all over again.

    I am convinced that, as some versions of Rockbox default USB via the 'OF' (secret word, which means the original Firmware in Rockbox circles), and others may 'dual boot', which means that you hold it< button="" while="" the="" sansa="" powers="" up,="" to="" start="" in="" the="" of. ="" again,="" this="" may="" or="" may="" not="" work,="" depending="" upon="" the="" build="" installed="" on="" your="" device. ="" batteries="" not="" included,="" and="" your="" mileage="" may="" vary,="" as="" they="" say. ="" the="" latest="" rb="" (rockbox)="" builds="" do="" have="" usb="" support="" if="" i="" read="" the="" forums="">

Yet once, start in the OF can not work as I've described, but a search for 'dual boot' in Rockbox forums should help you.

Rockbox looks like a lot of fun and there are enough stable ports (as they call it) for the most recent Sansas in the works, but personally, I think that a v1 e200 will be the ideal device to try it soon.  I've just been so busy with the latest machines...

Uninstall Rockbox is also described in the linked site, and it can be reinstalled at will, you do not have the opportunity to bring your e200 firmware stock 01.02.18 or the 01.02.24, because it is much simpler to operate than with Rockbox, especially when learning how to operate the drive.

Don't panic and pull the strings too harshly, for lack of a better term; all this will give is a knot tight to unravel.  Search the site for RB on the connection of your device, it will be in the user's Guide.  Perhaps some of the Hards to die here running Rockbox will have a time to chime!

I am currently tinkering with the latest version of the Rhapsody customer.  Rhapsody has branched out on his own from RealNetworks and there are a lot of little details in this mixture.  I'm the last customer, it performs well its gait with the penetrating RhapPFS Sansas.  I got some errands injectors (Diesel) to build a TDI engine today, so I'll run, experimenting with injector of programming, but I'll pop in now and again.  As many projects and the Sun came out today too.

  • iPod connection and synchronization problems classic160GB

I have a well taken in charge iPod classic 160GB. Worked perfectly until...

Since the upgrade to the latest OS (iMac), I've been prone to random error when updating of my music. Essentially (1) the device is still connected and there is no apparent way to perform a good ejection process (2) and synchronization fails after many hours and don't care only about 100 songs.

Thus, it seems that the iPod is ok mechanically. I have reset the device and formatted the HARD drive. This allowed then the synchronization process works correctly. Yesterday I downloaded the songs on the iTunes store and wanted on the iPod - same problems error has occurred.

Would it not make sense to go back to an earlier version of the operating system? and iTunes? (same iTunes appears unstable now...)

I see that this timing issue is quite common with this unit holders and it seems to be common, because support was arrested for this camera - I'd be cynical? Why isn't Apple in the face of what it comes to very bad reputation management - total contempt for Affairs of its user base?

I always use what is apparently a good piece of hardware, but I'm extremely frustrated as a user. Any body found the corrective action? If so, what is it?

LAST: I left Apple and bought a Sony HD camera. Why? as a result of these frustrations. I'm now evaluate whether to consider other Apple devices that are close to replacement (viz, Ipad, MacBook Pro (17 "), iMAc) with non-Apple devices. This is how frustrated and I'm in a bad mood.

Please, if you know a solution, I am very willing to try that.

Problems with synchronization is often caused by a hard drive which becomes unreliable.  Hard drives are mechanical and ends by fail, computers and iPods.  I have much older iPods (4th gen, 3rd generation and iPod mini) that are more than 10 years at this point.  They still work perfectly fine with the latest version of OS X and iTunes.  I replaced the fragile hard drives in three of these iPods with Compact Flash card or an SD card on an adapter.  For the 5th generation and later iPods, you can look here for more information

    https://www.iFlash.xyz/

I see that this synchronization problem is quite common with this unit-holders...

It's not just 'common good' considering there are millions of iPods (with storage on hard disk) still serving there.  However, if you see more cases of these days, the reason is obvious.  They age, on average.  The iPod classic model was released back in 2007.  Old things tend to start fault for various reasons, including defective hard drive.

  • HP ENVY 17-j005tx Notebook PC: network card wireless Intel N 2230 sporadic but recurrent connection Wi Fi problems. Which driver to use?

I have an old HP Envy computer of 12 months with a 2230 Intel® Centrino® wireless-N wireless adapter.

In the last 6 months, the PC has suffered sporadic but recurrent problems of WiFi connection with the failure of the connection or drop-outs. The PC connects to the router, but fails to obtain or maintain an IP address. It has been with Intel driver version 15.12.0.6, pilot day February 25, 2014, installed by Windows Update, on June 16, 2014.

When I contacted HP support on January 9, 2015, I have been instructed to download the software from the HP Web site. This driver has an HP publication date of 1 November 2013 and installed the driver version 15.10.0.12 with a release date of June 25, 2013.

Updated Windows ran later that day there and I wanted to install the drivers updated Windows 8.1

    • Important update - update the Intel driver for Intel® Centrino® wireless-N 2230 published on 17/10/2013, 2.4 MB
    • Optional update - update the Intel driver for Intel® Centrino® wireless-N 2230 published 07/10/2014, 101.9 MB

If Windows Update has been set to automatic the provided HP driver would likely have immediately deleted by Microsoft update.

The Intel Web site offers the 15.14.0.1 or 15.14.0.2 driver version as the last driver for the adapter N-2230 but Intel "recommends obtain you and use the software provided by the manufacturer of your laptop. (even if it's more than a year to date)

It's very complicated to have the latest version on the Intel site, older versions installed by Microsoft Update and even older versions on the HP website.

If the user must install the OEM version, how the user to treat Microsoft Update overwriting the OEM version?

    Which driver should be used?

Why didn't the driver software HP Support was updated to resolve known issues with this wireless card driver?

HP would provide only a pilot who has been tested on the device that is installed on a particular type of material.

Intel would release the driver first, but then it would take some time for HP to the test pilot and release it to the public for use on their units. Some customizations can apply in order to get the driver to work on the material.

Please can you help me, or I have to send for repair.

    Hello

I think you have some connection problems Wi - Fi because that card LAN of the laptop that is Intel 802.11ac + agn supports WLan standards (AC, A, G, N) probably there is a problem of compatibility between the router and the especially WLan card if the WLan router has been configured for 802.11 B or G only.

If you want to establish the WiFi connection, you must ensure that the road and the wireless network adapter supports the same WLan standard.
For example: the router + wireless network card must be set to 802.11 A or G or N because these standards are supported by the WLan module.

For the wireless network adapter, you will need to check / change the settings in:
-> WLan card device manager-> properties-> Advanced tab

On the Advanced tab, you'll find settings and options that must be controlled and configured.

  • Satellite L40 - Wi - Fi connection after restart problem

    Hello

My sister had a Toshiba Satellite L40 (PSL40E - 04501DDU) and a few days ago I installed a wireless router at home.
Wi - Fi worked within 2 minutes, but when I restarted the laptop he couldn't find any Wi - Fi networks (whereas before I restarted, I found 4).

It took me about an hour to make it work again
    -Turn off/on Wi - Fi
    -several reboots
-deletion of a Wi - Fi connection - configs
-switching between Vista Wi-Fi-tool and without configuration by Toshiba
    -updated drivers
    -etcetera...

I don't know which of them did the trick, but after going through all these actions it seemed to work again.
I thought I had conquered the problem, but only today (after only 1.5 days) my sister contacted me saying that the Wi - Fi 'fell down' again.

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

When I look in this forum I see about 1200-forum topics on the problems of Wifi on Toshiba laptops, so I guess it's a recurring problem with several models of Toshiba.
Most of the subjects also speaks a Wifi works very well and doesn't work anymore after restart/sleep/hibernation.

    Laptop: PSL40E - 04501DDU
OS: Windows Vista 32-bit (latest updates + latest drivers)

(Please, no answers like: "is your DHCP on?") or "the router is compatible with the Wi - Fi device?")

    Hi crazysoul,.

I understand that you don't know the answer to that, because you are not always there when the Wi - Fi fails, but if the laptop is not looking upwards * all * networks, the same as before?

What WLAN driver version is installed on this laptop? The most recent is 7.6.0.164.1, it can be interesting to update. Also, forgive me if you already checked, but under network adapters Device Manager, find the device wireless and in the Properties window, if there is a power management make tab you unchecked the checkbox to turn off the device to save power.
