Name of the application on the screen-apex 4.2

Hello, I created an application on apex.oracle.com and I see he is upgraded to 4.2.
When I run the application, I see the name of the application to appear on the top left of all pages by default.
But I am not able to figure out where I could change the name or remove it.
Can someone help me on this?

Hello

Under the Application Builder, go to the shared components-> User Interface-> UI-> Logo attributes. Logo Type the text value and change the name in the text field "Logo". The name you enter here will appear in the upper left corner of the application.

    Hello

Please join Microsoft Community where you can find the necessary information on Microsoft products!

My.msn.com page, you want to get as welcome (your name) instead of welcome.

You get your name if you sign in using your MSN or live account.

If you still do not receive the name, then I would say that you get help on the MSN support site:

    Hello

I've recently upgraded to Lightroom 6 and I am desperately looking for the option to display only not my name on the screen. It creates problems of confidentiality when using it in public; I do like the fact that anyone looking at my screen knows who I am. How can I change?

  • How can I change the name on the screen of Windows 8 start?

Just set up the new computer with Windows 8. Spent a ridiculous amount of time to change the name of the profile at the top right of the home screen...

Have tried many scenarios found via this forum, google search, etc... all to nothing does not.

Specifically, I've connected on my MSFT account and change to my desired name 'show' and it shows there as intended, as it does when I connect on 8 of Windows mail, Outlook etc... But not on the Windows 8 start screen.

Advice/suggestions would be appreciated at this point...

    Thank you

    Steve

This start screen name must come to the right of your MS Account.

You can try this, but I'm not positive if it relates in reality.  Use Win + R to display the run, type netplwiz and click OK.  In the list, select your account, then on properties and specify in the 'Full name' box, then restart.

  • How to dynamically retrieve the host name of the server APEX?

    Hello

I have request Express installed 3.1.0.00.32 on 2 servers in a configuration of dataguard, which means I can failover from one server to the other.

The problem I encounter is the URL. I wrote a beautiful PL/SQ/procedure to send mail, in the body of the mail it is a URL that points to a hard-coded host name (teleg1:7777)
    BEGIN
    ....
     l_url := 'http://teleg1:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
    ....
It can occur I the digital switchover to the other server which name would be teleg2, but then the url change because the host name is "teleg2:7777".

    It should be like this:
     l_url := 'http://teleg2:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
Is there a way to retrieve the host name of a global variable of APEX, something like G_HOSTNAME? Or from another source? As a result, the procedure is as follows:
     l_url := 'http://||G_HOSTNAME||:7777/pls/apex/f?p=109:29:::NO::P29_ID:'||C1.ID ;
The varialbe G_HOSTNAME would contain etiher "teleg1" or "teleg2" according to the APEX server that executes the PL/SQL procedure at this time.

    I hope I am clear.

    Good day!

Use the functionowa_util.get_cgi_env . You'd be interested in CGI environment variables SERVER_NAME and SERVER_PORT.

  • Name of owners of show on the screen of the phone blackBerry Smartphones

How can I show owners name on the screen of the phone (BB Bold 9700)

    Hello

First, you enter owner information in the configuration of BB. Then, you assign a device lock password (be very careful with this!). Then you lock the BB with password lock. So only the owner information will be displayed on the screen. The single lock keypad does not display the owner information.

    Good luck!

  • Name of the preset pdf brackets

Hey people, I have the custom pdf presets that are used to produce PDF from Adobe InDesign CS3 files on the Windows operating system. These presets are in the usual default folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings\ and are included with a bunch of default settings. In any case, when I open InDesign and choose Adobe PDF presets in the menu file, all settings are visible. However, they have the name, [myCustomIDPDFPreset] in square brackets. I expect this result among the options of default working who are provided with Adobe, but not in my presets custom. This is a problem because our output scripts use the specific name of the screening to the content PDF output for the inclusion of the brackets cause its failure. Any thoughts on how the custom presets may appear in the list without the brackets. That's how it worked in CS2. Thks, Wil

This seems to be a consequence of the location, and indicates that you cannot change the preset. If you use the load and save buttons, instead, in the dialogue box, the preset will be stored in your user directory and will appear without brackets. It also seems that you can move the presets for the directories of sweat and media will disappear.

My guess would be that this is intended as a safety device to keep a user from accidentally a shared changing preset.

  • Remove or replace the name of the network (Vista, wired to the router)

I have 4 computers on my network home (a new laptop and Windows 7 desktop computer and an older laptop and desktop Vista, which are replaced - laptops are wireless).  I had a LOT of problem with printer sharing, especially after a reboot printer goes offline, and I can't find any way to get them back another remove printers and reinstalling (disappointment, disappointment, disappointment) online.  And then I started having problems with one of the Vista (cables to the router) computers access the computer Windows 7 new, also wired to the router.

Then I will begin first with the last problem.  Trying to get the old wired Office Access/recognize the new desktop windows 7 Wired, I ended up resetting my fairly new Linksys router e2500 to its factory setting - and in the process gained a new network name.  I finally understood how to get the laptops wireless to recognize the new network (should be easy, but it wasn't), but the old wired Vista insists on the use of the former name of network, one that appears in the network and sharing Center implementation.  The other funny thing is that even though she seems to be using the former name of network, I put on Jack autour with her so I don't have Internet access on my old Vista computer.

I guess that because it is trendy, it seems not to worry about the network name, but it's bothering me because it's not fair.  However, I can't find any way to delete the old name of network.  I spent the day on that and am still confused.  Baffled because it is working and baffled because I can change the name.  I also get a lot of mistakes "Windows cannot access \\myWindows7computername" when I double click on the name displayed in the network folder of Windows Explorer (probably more serious problem).  In any case, I want to address what should be first the problem of easire.

I discovered enabled network, public folder sharing, which transforms file on the computer discovery and Vista network, sharing the printer and sharing active files (but only on the printer and all the other things of file not checked), and sharing files public computer to Windows 7 (the one with the printers connected to it) - and passwords disabled on both (all computers).

So my first question is how to make the network name on the Vista desktop wired old deleted/changed/replaced for the new name of the current network.  Why it does not insist in using the former name of network that no longer exists.

    Ron in round rock

Sorry about that, but I got my answer from another forum, a Linksys Forum - and I will talk about a few things in case other people have this problem/question.

To remove the network name that appears on the Network Center and sharing, click on the link to customize to the right of the network type - and on the next screen, click on merge or delete network locations, you will / should be able to remove (don't know what fusion done or means) the network with the wrong name, EXCEPT that you can't remove it If it is being used (which is / was the problem I had).  When I unplugged the cable between the computer and the router, I was able to remove the network location (the one with the old name of network), I tried to get rid of.

Now for the confession.  All this has nothing to do with the name of the network - and most of the things in my original post is just smoke also.  I was going down the wrong path.  It turns out that with computers connected to a router, there is only one network involved and you can call it anything you like and it will work.  There is no selection of a network involved as in the case of a wireless network.

Network with wired computers name is determined lby network name "you enter" on the screen to customize network settings, the screen you get when you click Customize on the screen of the Network Center and sharing - and you can type in anything you want here.  I'd so go through all this.  I simply had to re - enter the network name on the screen to customize network settings, that is simply a name that you can use for your own reference.

  • Discern the name of the application on the home screen of the app from Itunes store name

    Hello

has a first view I have not see any request it, so I have, my saw of customer it is possible to discern between the visible on the home screen application name and the name of the application visible on the App store and it is indeed possible using XCODE with a native application... but I don't know if it is still possible flow of packaging and publishing from the DPS App Builder I do not see 2 different label to do so.

I think I could package the App with the generator of the application using the name of the home screen and public on itunes connect using the extended version of the name (for the App store), but I don't know if this procedure is correct or authorized.

    Does anyone have the answer?

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards.

    Cree

    PS: Only edition on iPad

The name that appears under the icon on the iPad home screen is entered in the AppBuilder of DPS and must be 12-13 characters max. In Itunes Connect, you are able to enter the longer, more descriptive name that will be visible in the iTunes Store.

    I hope this helps.

    select application_name
    from apex_applications
    where application_id = :app_id

Documented, public access to the metadata of the application is available through the views of the APEX. You can get a glimpse of these by using the query

    select * from apex_dictionary

in Home > workshop SQL > SQL commands.

A more structured view of the opinion of APEX is available at Home > utilities > Application Express views (switch to the tree to get the best idea of how they are organized).

  • Is there a way to remove the ToolTip that contains the name of the application when the cursor over the icon in the dock?

Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I noticed that the name of each application in the dock appears above the docking station in a bubble of large text when the cursor is everywhere down in the dock next to this icon of the application.  It's annoying because if I'm often pass between two or several applications, I don't want to have to keep moving the slider to the top of the screen to get the text balloons to disappear.  When the application names are present, they cover part of the screen of the app that I work.  Not sure if I remember correctly, but I thought that those who went after a period of time in older versions of OS.  I was never bothered by it as I am with El Capitan.

    Thank you all.

Not that I am aware, no.  There is nothing in the system preferences-> Dock that allows you to disable or remove this function.

F2 in the bios and change the field to TAG ASSETS.  Otherwise, you will need to use the DCCU utility to change this.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/OS-applications/w/wiki/2545

You can ONLY change the asset though NOT label service tag if it has a value.

  • Cannot change the name of the application to have spaces

    My problem:

-J' created an application with a name that has no spaces (for example ThisIsMyApplication).  It relies very well, but when deployed on my device (debug or release), the name displayed under the icon on the home screen is without spaces.  This causes the name will be truncated.

-I want to have spaces in the name of the application (for example this is my request), so that the name gets word wrapped under the icon on the device.

    I couldn't do that.  I tried:

-in the bar - descrptor.xml, application tab, under the entry of text and Images, the name with spaces

-in bar - descrptor.xml, change the entry (for example point id

    This is my Application

but the name under the application icon is still the name without spaces.

I hope someone knows how to do it properly, so I don't have to spend hours trying various changes.

For example, in my bar - descrptor.xml:

Would change the package name to have spaces do?

Change the input everything show up references for spaces do?

Change APP_NAME in my .pro file?

Take the door label on the tag entry point as well.
