  Instead of text showing, all see is exclamation as the screenshot below points. It just started this week and I have to restart the computer and it still appears like this. Very well, things work in Chrome. Any ideas?

  Several months ago, we started to have pain on our desktop Mac OS X with Firefox. On many web pages, including the Home Support of Firefox page, I see empty boxes instead of text. The boxes have not all the letters in them. If I copy and paste boxes in MS Word it translates them in the text, but not on the web page.

  I suggest blind carbon copy yourself e-mails coming out in the future to check for other errors and if they happen then find a new Web hosting provider.  They should have been aware of the conflicts, one would presume.

• HP 8620:8620 does not correctly print the documents: @PJL lines, scratches stuck instead of text

  Just received this new HP instead HP 8600 8620. Former had some mechanical problems, as it will not load paper or stuck all the scans, well, it may be "just a wear and tear".

  Then, I installed the new HP 8620, connected instead of 8600 to the LAN via a port Ethernet, a new IP assigned.

  Then installed the new software on the users PC.

  Windows XP test page was printed allright, but then...

  Random MS Word 2007 documents will not print. There is a page with @PJL GAME JOB NAME = "Microsoft Word", @PJL lines of COMMENTS and the second page with a few scratches distorted instead of text.

  More interesting, it is - sometimes, it prints to the right. The same document, the same PC, the user-only sending out to print again and voila - document done right.

  Any suggestions?

  It was suggested to me to go to downloads.com so my laptop can read the DVD.  Since it download I get little squares instead of text on some pages for various sites...   In my form of Muse, I want the input field type to be "e-mail" instead of "text" - like HTML5 mobile type of entry (for example, the info here: entry Types: give users the right keyboard on Mobile Forms - UX movement) so that the messaging keyboard appears on the device instead of the regular keyboard - in the 'Phone' of my site version.

  I have this in a text outside the Muse Editor, after saving the project and the Muse out - but can't find a way within the Muse to change the type of field in a form (without the insertion of HTML and lose the convenience of form widget).

  Is it possible to do this inside the Muse, by using the form widget? Here and on Google search gives me no useful result.

  It's much easier forms for users get right - especially in their email address, that is the question that I most want them to get the right!

  I can do - outside the Muse - but it's painful for my workflow and means manual intervention whenever I publish/Export.

• AAAAAs instead of text in the latest version of Safari

  I get chains AAA surrounded by boxes instead of text in my browser - mainly in the ads and videos that use Flash.  I use the latest version of Safari on my model iMac 2013 27 with OS Mavericks (last update installed) and the latest version of Flash (all this starting from 14/11/14). Anyone else have this problem, and if yes have you been able to solve the problem?  I talked to Apple, who, as always, they spent a lot of time trying to find a solution, but nothing is. After spending a lot of time with a very friendly and knowledgeable advise, they suggested to contact Adobe, and if they do not have a solution, they (Apple) gladly would continue to work on this issue with me.

  I have no doubt that his is a Flash related problem! Thank you!

  Yosemite now installed, I checked on the URL I sent you earlier and no. AAAAAAAs. So far. I hope that this upgrade cleaned some mess caused the problem, but I will not completely convinced until I used some time.  Once again, thank you for all your help with this problem!   But if your new line is CR + LF, then use REPLACE (col_name, Chr (13) + Chr (10), ")

  It would be useful that you have identified the word processing application that you use, but because you have posted in a forum of Windows, I'll assume that it is Microsoft Word.

  I suppose also that unlike your subject, you don't really want to get rid of hard returns, but simply not to envy the ¶ symbol to display in your document.  In Word, by pressing the 'Enter' actually forces a new paragraph, and thus the ¶ symbol is called a "paragraph mark."

  Here's what help Word to say:

  • Click Show/Hide in the Standard toolbar (toolbar: a bar with buttons and options you use to carry out commands.) To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT + F10.).

  Tip

  You can also show or hide the marks of format by clicking Options on the Tools menu and then clicking the view tab. Under formatting marks, select or clear the check boxes.
