Thread freeze trying to navigate the menu
I'm currently developing a monitoring software for an industrial machine.
On the main thread, I treat all the events of the user interface, and in an AsyncTimer, I am purchasing data (via CPB). I protect my data using CmtNewLock, CmtGetLock and CmtReleaseLock structure.
The data acquired in the second thread is also used in the main thread (graphic,...) When I access data, I call CmtGetLock, then do the treatment and finish by calling CmtReleaseLock. It works well.
BUT when I navigate the menu bar, the thread principal gel sometimes (or freeze after a few seconds). He stopped on the CmtGetLock and the user interface is not answer more (the menu tree is always deployed). The AsyncTimer continued and succeed to release and to obtain the lock.
Do you have any idea what can cause this bug?

I reproduce your problem on my /WinXP, CVI7.1.1, Pentium 4 2 GHz PC.
There seems to be a bug in CmtGetLog with a "OPT_TL_PROCESS_EVENTS_WHILE_WAITING" menu and treatment.
without this attribute, your test application works well
try to replace in the code: CmtNewLock ("Catalogue", 0 / * OPT_TL_PROCESS_EVENTS_WHILE_WAITING * /, & lock_Catalog);

You should not access the workspace through port 45000 if you want access to other products.
Once you have configured the web server plugin, then the default route would be http://: 19000/workspace /. See you soon

My 1536dnf printer is stuck in a language I can't read (thai I think). Can someone help me with the key sequence to English?... being unable to read the characters means that I can't navigate the menu at all.

- and then click the arrows until you find the English.

Lot of shortcut in the menu display - Acrobat Reader XI
A bug in the view menu - don't say it's a feature!
I tried to use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the menu of reader XI View - carefully Show / Hide-> Tbar Items (until I find that you can accomplish this with a right-click on the toolbar).
To find View menu there are two submenus with the same "assigned keyboard shortcut: Fill & Sand Sign how / Hide." Obviously pressing on the of ' key the first time opens the pane fill & Sign, then View menu closes, so cannot use the of ' key open Show / Hide for more options.
Why could not the devs of design chose a separate letter for all submenus in View? Where was their spirit? Is Adobe, outsourcing of design, too (for me it "feels" Asian).
PS: couldn't find a 'suggest a feature' for Acrobat/Reader on the Adobe site, I get redirected to this forum instead.

Why my DVD does not start with the film and not on the menu?
HI -.
I'm just starting to use yet.
I import my film as a timeline, my PSD as a Menu, link the button in the menu to the timeline and tie the end to the Timeline action to return to the Menu. I get no error, when I check prior to construction.
But when I play the DVD, the menu is entirely ignored. The movie just started. End action works and I can navigate the Menu using the remote control, but I want the disc to start with the Menu.
What Miss me?

In this case, first of all, I would check my first piece of the project. You can check the first play in the drive properties in the properties panel.
Click on the disk icon in the window of the chart and look at the properties of the disc in the properties panel.
If you want your menu to play first you insert the disc in the drive, then this menu must be set as the first piece of theatre.

Using last Thunderbird on Windows 7. Had problems with the operating system and had to use a system restore. When I opened TB, it displays the folders in the left pane, but the credits of "Thunderbird Mail-...» "and the 3 topics: E-mail; Accounts; and advanced features. None of the files would open. I used the "Search messages" function and has been able to show existing and new messages in the 'Inbox '. Also wanted to know if files are always in my 'profile'... and they were all there where they should be. (And almost all the menu items are disabled).
I wonder if I need to reinstall Thunderbird... maybe the OS issues this morning - and restore - have corrupted or damaged key elements of the program?
Thank you...System Restore is not always a very good thing for applications.
Reinstall is unlikely to help. But if your accounts are all imap and that you do not have a lot of other data (address book, for example) in Thunderbird, you could start from scratch.
But before that, you should try Thunderbird started in SafeMode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

I used the same setup file, but on 1 pc, the "Open new tab" button is available in the menu 'Customize toolbar' and can be dragged and drop on the navigation bar. On the other pc, the "Open new tab" button/icon is not yet available for drag / drop. I uninstalled firefox completely, including the settings and preferences, then reinstalled, but that has not fixed the missing button.

Please try to restore the default value in the Customize... window. If it is still not visible, one of the reasons could be that the button is already placed on the toolbar, but can be hidden behind a different icon or toolbar.

iWeb published page not correctly reformatted the menu bar. All others fine.
Always using iWeb and 10.6.8 Snow Leopard for my Web design. Thought I was driving the program well, but when I publish my new site, http://www.servantleadership.net.au/Threefold_Leadership.html will a page do not show the bar menu (top and bottom) correctly even if it is directly copy / paste the same as all other menu bars. I'm running out of ideas for the difficulty. Verified page settings, revamped the page, re cut and pasted to the menu bar, grrr. You'll be thanked a lot if you can help to solve this one. Think you might have things overlapping in iWeb itself - this is what it looks like on the Web page.
Back to iWeb and turn the settings, where you can view the areas and check that things are not overlap and give them more space.
Things have only a little overlap so that they work properly.

The update to IE 8 last night caused the menu and other bars to turn black in the browser.

I went to Winhdows updated and reinstalled IE8 update and the bars are again showing only a small icon where each item is black. I am running XP. What can be done to fix this?

I suggest that you check the number of KB updates that have been installed recently.
There is no history of update for Windows XP; but you can see what updates you have installed on your computer by clicking on add or remove programs in Control Panel.
To see what updates you have installed on a Windows XP-based computer, you must go through a different process.
(a) go to the start menu in the lower left corner.
(b) choose Control Panel from the menu.
(c) find the icon Add / Remove programs and double click it to open it.
(d) a list of the installed programs. To see Windows updates put a check mark in the Show updatescheck box.
(e) now, you will see also all the updates that are on your computer.
Please provide information on the update installed that could be causing the problem so that we can better help you.

How can I edit a movie Menu template? I use a Motion - celebrations and events - model of menu for Christmas related to 6 scene markers. Five scenes are represented by a thumbnail and name on 1 Menu scenes that appears when the button on the main menu page scene selection is reached. However, the scene 6, which has also a sticker and marker corresponding scene, is on another page (Menu 2 scenes) that does not link to the home page (does not appear in the scene selection Menu that has just 5 thumbnails and an arrow to return to the main Menu). In the area of work under the clip monitor Main Menu 1, Menu 1 and Menu 2 of scene scene appear together and by clicking on the thumbnail in the scene 2 menu the link to the clip 6 works except when Preview Disc is played, in which case the Menu 2 scene disappears. The scene marker is correctly linked, it just does not appear in the menus of the finish. The first five items of the Assembly (related to the scene selection menu) are all the video clips, but the 6th clip is a slide show. I read several threads on menus but found no mention that a slide show scene marker is treated differently by a menu template. Is it? The 5 first clips are all in the format AVI - DV with imported project files previously saved in this format, so that they could be related and engraved on a DVD. Hi, thanks for your response. I can rephrase the question very easily: why I've been so stupid? My problem was that I couldn't see a link in the menu between the Menu scenes 2 template and the main Menu. It turns out that the link was there all the time (a sideway arrow just above the main Menu link) but I thought he was part of the link from the main Menu and never clicked on it. When I burned my project to a disc and played on television, the sideway arrow was a different color and, of course, another link... the link I was looking for. Then, my apologies, problem solved, lesson learned - click on everything you see. Thank you. And I was very happy since the upgrade to 14 before except when it makes me feel stupid, which is frequently.

Bought Lightroom CC for 2 devices. One installed fine but can not get the LIBRARY to work on the 2nd unit. 2nd camera, it is the menu bar, but nothing other than a gray screen, 1 device has all the tools. If anyone can help.
