Navigate to the external URL

Hi all

We have a detailed report where we will have detailed information of any cause and according to this report, we want to provide a link to our application.
We have a report that contains columns like below.

PLV reason Type emission issues no.
A TOIssue1 of raison1 123
B raison2 issue 2 234

Now this report if we click on Question No. column should it takes us in the application. To do this, we added test custom in Question No. as below.

* @[html] "< a href ="http://localhsot/object/"Type of show" / "" @"" target = "_blank" > "" @""< /a >. "

where we expect the format url as * http://localhost/object/TOIssue1/123 *.

and another problem is that if all of the values of reason a space url will not work.

Kind regards
Floquet

"Why @html '" "@" "" "in the data format tab?

Put HTML data format and write with quotas unique code in the editor of the column, if the bound column is number can cast.

There is a problem with the analysis of space with URL value. Only the first word is parsed. I try a few methods of replacement, but without success.

  • Async AS2 in B2B of Oracle 11 g and proxy reversed - how to indicate the external URL of DND

    Hello

We have a SYNCHRONIZATION connections of AS2 work via proxy leaving and entering proxy reverse. No problem. But in AS2 header of our messages when ASYNC DND is enabled B2B 11 G sends our internal hostname (not accessible from the internet) as URL of return of DND. Thus, our partners cannot return the MDN

How can I replace it? In 10g I could set the channels on host partner and use them in the conventions, but now they are only 'internal' type and cannot by basic HTTP.

(Suggestions appreciated - I searched the documentation, forums and Oracle Support better than I could, but I was unable to find something useful)

    Thanks in advance

    Kamil

Okay, I think I found the answer.

The only way to do this correctly is to put the URL of the proxy to the Recepit delivery on the chanel TP Option. This means that in the future, any changes made to the external URL will require that update us all affected chanel TP configurations.

  • CustomerID refers to the external url

Hello I have a question about external links.

I have a table with customer ID and another external website with a database of my company portal.

The url of the portal of database structure works this way https://...default.aspx?CustID=12345

Now, I want to link my Apex client ID to the url.

If I click CustID = 10001 to apex then the url to refer to https://...default.aspx/?CustID=1001

and if I click in my report on CustID = 21000 url refer to https://...default.aspx/?CustID=21000 etc.

    How can I achieve?

    Thanks for any solution.

    BTW:

I use in my business, the old version 3.2 Apex that is installed on a server, but I think that

to refer to external URLS, it doesn't matter which version.

    DB2000

You don't mention how you present the link to the user.

If there is a link in a report, you can use the column values in the url of the link.

the url of the link would then look like

    https://...default.aspx/?CustID=#CUSTID#

Where CUSTID is the alias of column supporting the id of the customer.

If there is a link in a text do allows to store the client id and reference it as of a page element

    https://...Default.aspx/?CustID=&PXX_CUSTID.

Where PXX_CUSTID is the name of the element that contains the customer id.

  • link to the external URL of the swf online

Is it possible to post a link to an external URL of your flash website without going through the flashplayer prompt you to change your settings and allow access to this page? (this applies only to SWF files read through a browser)
the only way around this that I found is not very helpful - must be an xml file that is small on the host server where the page you want to link to. I seriously doubt each site you want to link to you will put an xml on the server host file just so you can access their page. the code in the xml file indicates right flashplayer the website you are trying to access is safe. It is called crossdomain.xml
someone at - it a response?
    Thank you!

No, it isn't. getURL() causes no security problem, except if you try to open the local html and access (try to) something on the internet.

unless your "flash site" is the local computer poses no security problem. If your computer is a Web server, you simply define the security settings for your local file and give it permission to access the internet.

    Hi Erik,

I think that this has been fixed in our latest version 8.5 - documents.software.dell.com/DOC252107

Please download and upgrade your farm and let us know if you still see this problem.

If you do, it may be best to save a service request so that we can see exactly what is happening.

  • HTML 8.0.2.208 - convert HTMLHelp to WebHelp - external URL in the subjects of the HR

    HR HTML 8.0.2.208

Made from HTML help to WebHelp.  We will be merging the projects (thanks Mr. Grainge for your items - very useful!).

External Current URLs in topics are: projectname.chm::/topicname.htm

I guess the external URL will now have to be referenced as: X:/helpfolder/startpage.htm#mergedprojects/child_project/target_topic_1.htm

Am I correct in this assumption?

    Thanks in advance.

    Both are correct.

X:/helpfolder/startpage.htm#mergedprojects/child_project/target_topic_1.htm will open the subject with the nav pane and the toolbar.

X:/helpfolder/mergedprojects/child_project/target_topic_1.htm will open the subject without the nav pane and the toolbar.

Also, these two will work if everyone has the same drive mapping. Can you guarantee that? May be preferable to use the name of the server.

Note that HR creates the path as mergedProjects (capital P) and which will be important if your server is Unix-based.

  • External URLs

    Hello!

If a user located in the Inet uses Horizon customer via PCoIP to get his remote desktop, what URL should I put Enabled and I can disable?

External URL of the secure tunnel, PCoIP external URL and external URL Blast

The external URL is used for secondary communications made between the client and the server.  It is also used as a means of transport secure when you use RDP as display protocol.

The secure gateway PCoIP is generally used when you have a secure server deployed, or have a desire to all customer traffic through several IP addresses of the funnel.  With the gateway secure enabled PCoIP, PCoIP traffic between the Agent of the view and the customer view is all be channeled through the Security Server or the connection to the server.  Without this setting is enabled, clients and agents will communicate with one another.  The first is generally used in an environment with a firewall, while the latest is most commonly used for internal traffic only.

  • Internal untrusted clients directed to the external IP address for traffic PCoIP

I have a network segment disable my firewall for some untrusted clients. When untrusted clients connect to view (5.3), they use a DNS name that resolves to a DMZ (view Security Server) host. That's where I think the problem is: it seems that security server responds with its external IP address, and then all the PCoIP traffic is routed to my router (where the external IP address can be found), then back into view and the customer. Traffic of SSL connection works fine, the traffic remains inside and does not get directed to the external IP address. It is only the PCoIP traffic that gets invited to use the external IP address.

It seems that DNS is not enough - Security Server seems to respond and connect using only the external IP address configured in the external URL field PCoIP - is this correct? If so, then to do a substitution for the external URL so that internal untrusted traffic doesn't get routed the external IP address - this creates a lot of unnecessary traffic, mess with QoS, etc..

Another idea would be to allow untrusted clients to connect directly to a login server instead of sending them on the Security Server, but I don't think that it is a best practice...?

    Mike

As Linjo says the simplest solution is to set up a server for additional security to point these clients (no need of another server connection, you can pair it with the existing one). Today, you are required to provide an IP address for PSG, so if you need to send it to another, you will need a second server.

Of course, if they are completely not reliable customers, then you can force through the external access point still but looks like you need avoid the cost of additional traffic from this approach.

  • External "URL" setting breaks internal access...

    Hi all

I saw works well and overnight last configuration external access from home.  I have install a security server, created the file locked.properties on the Security Server and added external url the server security to the external "URL" field of the view manager.  I could connect and then home.

    However, when I arrived at work this morning I can't connect directly to the server viewmanager.  View Client generates the following error message;

View server connection authentication failed. Initialization failed when connecting to the server "(null)".

If I remove the external URL field and restart the view Manager service, can then connect to internally, I am then unable to connect at home.

I guess it's possible to have a configuration that allows internal and external connections?

    Thank you

    Shaun

    Hi Shaun,

The last posting in this thread of DMZ servers and server connection security might be useful to explain the line of communication between virtual machines, security servers and connection servers.

I'm open to correction here, but it would require that the security servers and connection are paired so that if you set up an external connection all connections from that server to download connection through his security server, whether they are inside or outside your network of reading

I am also open to correction that vmware is or at least doesn't limit you to the deployment of a number of brokers of the connection when it came to their license agreements which could be a solution to your problem of internal & external connection.

Don't have not setup pilot to test so take everything with a large pinch of salt

  • Port number of the DMZ URL mask

    Hello

I just finished the configuration of the DMZ node to irecruitment for a client module. I followed Doc Id 380490.1 for installation. The external URL for the customer is of the form http:// < hostname >: < port >/OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp. Now, because of security concerns the customer wants to hide the port number of the URL and post it on the internet for the registration of external candidates. How do I remove the port number of the URL and post the URL as /OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp or http:// < hostname > < hostname > http:// / IrcVisitor.jsp.

  • Navigate to the URL of an analytic

    Hello

We use OBIEE 11.1.1.6.9 and have an analytic where one column returns a URL. I want to be able to have an action link (or other) on this column that redirects the user to this URL. Now, I know that I can use navigate to the Web page, but this seems to be a specific page, rather than based on the value in the same row?

    Thank you

The column already contains a URL?  Just replace the Data Format for the column consider the text as: hyperlink.

  • External URL in the workspace

    Hello

I searched the forum but it could not find anywhere, is it possible to create a link to an external URL in the home page of the workspace. Say, I wanted to have a link to the website of our company or something like that, how can I do for adding that in there so everyone would see it?

    Thank you
    Jason

Sorry, couple of quick edits. We are HFM 11.1.2.1.103 and in the Pages folder of shared workspace (under explores) that I had imported the URL I wanted to use it, but it does not appear on the workspace anywhere.

Published by: JDN on 25 April 2013 13:33

Hi Jason, you can do exactly that. In Explorer, right click on the URL that you imported, and then select change permissions. Bring the GLOBAL group in the right pane. There is a column which says 'Favorites '. Change it to "Pushed". Then check the box 'Push this point for some users, groups and roles' at the bottom of the screen.

  • Cannot access the Server Workspace external URL

I am able to access everything successfully while I'm on the server, but I can't seem to access the URL of the external workspace to the server
    Here are my steps/symptoms:

-All URLS are running on the server, (for this example, I'm mostly focused on FDM and workspace)
    using http://localhost/hyperionfdm and http://localhost:19000/workspace/index.jsp

-Turn off the server I use correctly the URL below, FDM url functions but workspace does not have.
    http://Generic.com/hyperionfdm and http://generic.com:19000/workspace/index.jsp

I also tried http://generic:19000/workspace/index.jsp and http://generic.com/workspace/index.jsp but no work

-When I try http://generic.com/hfm off the server, I get a page with just "hfm" on this subject. I understand that this isn't a road to the workspace but that he wanted to provide the information, since it came on other threads that I read while researching this.

I re - run the EPM system for web server configuration, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on anything to check or how to solve this problem.

    Thank you

What is generic.com? What is a load balancer or a simple dns name?

If it's a load balancer might be mapping generic.com to port 80. Which means that it is mapping to IIS (80) instead of the server (19000) web of OSH. In this scenario, there would be no logic to a port after it because it would be not mapped hollow LB.

Get the IP address of the host and, also, to check the ip address of generic.com using NSlookup - are they the same ip address? If not - you have a load balancer and need to reconfigure it to point to 19000 (or reconfigure your ports)

    If they are the same.

from the telnet ip 19000 host work? -If not maybe he doesn't listen on the adapter and only localhost or some IPv6 issue.

off-host telnet ip 19000 work? If this is not the case, perhaps you have a firewall in place blocking port 19000.

Check ipconfig on the host - are there multiple cards?

    Thank you
