  I have an obligation to display the user name (APP_USER) and of the company the user works for point Application AI_COMPANY, only when the user is connected. When the user is not connected; instead of these elements, I must show a connection link. Well, I know how to display a link to the login page, only when the user is not authenticated, using the navigation bar. Currently, when a user is not authenticated; the page shows: username: person. It's because he's in my page template. How can I show only the user name when the user connects? And then only display the name of the company?

  My first thought was to add an item in the navigation bar. But these elements comes in the form of links. Is it possible to add a navigation bar element and let it display as text? Of course, I could write a dynamic action on page 0 to remove the link, but I'm looking for a nicer sollution or better.

  I take it, you use the same model of your home page and login page.

  You could use 2 different models or get out your elements in your model and put them in page 0.

  You can then make them conditional based on the number of page

• How can I combine the navigation bar and the menu bar on the same line to save space?

  V29 Firefox seems to be a huge not backward in customization. I need to save room for the content so already I disabled the tabs and combined in the menu bar and the navigation bar on the same line. The url space is too long anyway. Now with v29 all my customization is gone and I can't get it back. I can move me is more points on the navigation bar to combine it with the menu bar. Why this was done? It limits only my ability to customize my browser? I'm very frustrated that you had a great browser and ruined.

• Toolbar - address bar: I can shorten? I've moved all the stuff of navigation bar in the menu bar (to save space), but I need to shorten the address bar, so it does not cover the Wolf/Moon icon. How can I do this?

  I just started using firefox (yesterday). I moved stuff navigation bar on the menu bar to make room for gameing toolbars, I want to add. Problem, the location bar covers, which is now part of the Wolf/moon picture that I would like to know. Can I set the length of the address bar not decide on his nose?

  I'm not sure that I understand very well what is your problem, but have you tried to add the spaces of the view > toolbars > customize... screen?

• Info on the Navigation bar blocks the app

  I am in the process on porting my app to android for BB. It does not work as expected to a certain extent. On the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen by pressing the information icon blocks the app. Logcat don't don't give it to any output, after pressing the force close button logcat said that gc released an amount of memory. No work around for this question please. Thank you

  

  If I remember correctly, this is a bug in the Simulator. If it's nothing you should worry, because on the device itself, it will work as expected.

• Force the Image to fill the screen when the user resizes the window

  I use flex and actionscript to create a site of photographer and I want the bottom to display an image that completely covers the bottom without distortion.  I tried just an image tag and characterized by the width and height to 100%, but the problem comes when the screen looks wider than the photo.  Thus, the height is reduced to 100% and the width is something less.  I would have rather it evolve according to what is most important, that is, if the window is too wide, the photo with a width of 100% on the scale and let the excess off the screen.  In this way, the photo is still cover the screen and there is no background color of distractrating showing.

  I was counting on the use of actionscript to indicate the width and height of the image so that I can compare it to the height and width of the window, but it seems that you can not get the dimensions of the photo.  I use application.width and application.height, but I need a way to compare it to the photo.  Also, is there an eventlistener that I should use to monitor when the user resizes the window or image resizing will be done automatically?

  The application container inherit "resize" event of UIComponent.

  Application.application.Width will give you the size of the application in the browser window.

  Another option besides the extensions behaving badly. Sometimes, the file that stores the toolbar customizations is damaged and fails to update correctly at the end of your session (as causing many other strange symptoms).

  The file is not editable, but you can rename it and customize your toolbars from scratch.

  Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

  Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

  Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output

  Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old

  Restart Firefox. I hope that now your preferred icon positions will be remembered.

  I'm a newbie to Adobe Muse and I'm currently learning how to configure and customize navigation bars. I built a navigation bar that looks like I want it in Muse, but when I saw in Chrome, a horizontal bar is added to bottom, ruin my symmetry and give me a headache.

  I would appreciate it if you could tell me why this is happening, and how do I remove the lower bar so that my Menu navigation bar is perfectly symmetrical on the vertical axis. Thank you!

  Your font is a system font, which must be converted into an image to be seen on every visitor's machine. This can be seen by the small icon next to each entry in the menu.

  Replace this font by a standard policy or a web font, then maybe the problem disappeared. (The problem may be caused by converting fonts into images, which to scale proportionally when the browser window is / becomes smaller or larger.)

• How do you keep the navigation bar in the center of the page?

  I have of our website created to develop the entire length of the screen.  We will also need the navigation bar to extend full length of the screen from left to right, just like the footer.  However, the continuous navigation bar will eventually be framed on the left.  Which setting I'm missing?  Who am I NOT to select to get there?

  For the centre in the browser don't stretch completely to the edge, just keep it as part of the design.

• How do I import my Navigation bar and the FLA/SWF slideshow on my flash site

  Hello people. Currently I am woundering hwo to import my files swf and fla navigation and a slideshow on my flash site in flash itself

  so im start with open adobe and my flash page let me do my background images. pages etc and now I need to import my navigation bars and a slide show but when I try to import their they are screwed up and am in the library, but not all the files that I created. so im confused how will import them because they are just? Therefore, there is no mess. I just need to know how to send them there so that they work properly? Anyone know?

  I doubt there is a video for anything this basic, but you can try the search.  I recommend you to practice in a copy of the file that you intend to place them so that you do not lose this file because of a learning curve.

  If you open the fla in your navigation bar, etc., you want to copy the timeline.  If you select all layers and images of the main timeline, right-click the selection and choose copy image.  Then, in the destination file, you must create a new movieclip symbol.  Select the first frame of the new symbol, right-click and select Paste images.  All the layers and images that you copied should appear in the timeline panel.

  If you happen to have symbols from the library of the same name in the different files that you will be combining, which could cause a problem as it prompts you about whether you want to replace one with the other.  Also is it better to rename all of these symbols before you copy them.

• Can I put a horiz navigation bar in the header space?

• I have no Menu or the available Navigation bar when I open Firefox

  While trying to remove an unused ad - the, I deleted by mistake my menu and Navigation bars. Now, despite having uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, no menu or navigation bar is there when I open. I can't get my home page. How to re - install Firefox so that I can navigate, use bookmarks and so on? These options are always available on IE, is not something in my computer.

  I found a solution myself. During the uninstallation of Firefox, I was asked if I wanted to keep (or not) my personal preferences. The first two times, I left this checked. The third time, I checked this box and when Firefox has been reinstalled, the preference, I selected by mistake, that of remove NAV and Menu bars, has been left out, and everything was back to normal.
