OK now I know that you have this motherboard specific hematite which, in case of a problem with a HP-lack of start-up or non-video, can replace the motherboard for you.

I have seen it happen before.

But if there is no problem it's good.

One last thing.

This update of the NVIDIA graphics driver can sometimes cause a blue screen to turn off the pc unexpectedly and after a few tries, it passes through. This happpens, sometimes even in a normal pc.

Make sure that you install this update separately by itself to avoid problems.

Altrnatively you can directly download the update manually from hp.com. It's the same exact update.

Acrobat 7.0: how to download critical updates after reinstall?

We have a legal version of Acrobat 7, version 7.0.0, bought and downloaded via the Adobe website.
I still have the original installer and use it to reinstall Acrobat after a software crash. But there are a few critical security updates in the past, which has updated Acrobat version 7.0.11 or 7.11 or so (I don't remember exactly). These updates were processed automatically Acrobat at the time via its auto-updater. However, today this auto-updater can't find these updates more. Are not available in my account in the download on the Adobe Web site section (where the original installation program is always available, but than what I already have).
So the question is: where can I find these Acrobat 7.0.0 critical security updates? And how can I download and save locally for future resettlement?
Upgrade to Acrobat 10 (or other) is no option, given that this computer is too old and too slow. If I want to stay with Acrobat 7.x.x, but I would like to update its last stable state.

I would recommend starting from the lowest number and work your way to the top. Also if Setup prompts you to restart, do before installing the next update.

Update Service stores the rest of installation programs C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Update Service\Installers\NI_date_time. You can try to re - run the setup.exe.

Computer Windows XP detects not * all * critical updates or high priority

I am and have been, problems with a computer Windows XP here at work that does not detect critical updates either Windows Update or Microsoft Update. As I suspected, the computer has a (very early) beta of SP3 installed. Uninstall, reboot twice, and then install Windows XP SP3 Final [1] & restart twice again.

Then go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Select CUSTOM and scan | Install all updates critical security available (only); Follow all the instructions. Subsequently, another CUSTOM scan to make sure that you have not missed any.

Tip: Do NOT install IE8 via Windows Update! Just 'hide' for now, please. (Believe me).

Well, you can try to manually install the KB2936068 and KB2964358 but the chances are that neither allows to install since KB2925418 is not listed in Add/Remove programs.
