  • The navigation bar problems

Hello: I am new to Dreamweaver (CS4) and I inserted a navigation bar, that works in Safari, but Firefox or Internet Explorer, it only shows the text with a hyperlink. In Live View mode, the button images appear as small dots to mark (I'm on a Mac). The files are in PNG format. I rechecked the settings under 'Edit' navigation bar as well as "readback" the code to see if there are differences in the HTML code. I can't understand why the other images do not appear. (I checked several times and file names are accurate and the image files are in the appropriate directory.) Any suggestions?

  • Library navigation bar problem

I am new to css and I am really confused about this coding. I use a library item to my Navigation bar, and I love this aspect. Should I use a Spry menu bar? The library seems to work, but some things do not act directly. I use CS 5.5. I found a good example of coding, but he still works hard. It is within a Web site of the school that I have admin upward. The address is http://www.quinterhs.org/farm%20test/index.html. Thank you

Links root work properly on the remote server.

They do not work when testing locally.   Simply trust your code. Or use absolute URLS in your menu.

  • Navigation bar problem

This weekend, I built a website in the Muse. After the announcement a few questions and get good answers, I could finish and get it functional. Today, however, when I went to work, I tried the site (which works well on my iMac) and saw that the navigation bar seems to be stuck. The page scrolls up and down behind it, but it does not move.

One of my previous questions spoke of the NAV. bar jumping off the page when I went to the preview. I pinned and he seemed fine on my computer, but apparently not on a PC.

The site address is www.leadershipassociates.us.  Can someone tell me please how to get the bar "takes off" navigation?

    Thank you!

    Wanda

P.S. Please note that the HOME page will be different soon; It looks exactly like the set page l., which contains photos "clickable" leading to prices.

    Wanda,

The menu has applied scrolling movement. Turn the power off and the menu will not pop.

    See you soon,.

I'm sorry to tell you that the first thing you need to do is to get rid of
the method that you used. It is quite ancient and has been designed for box
pages. It adds a bit of extra code (of which a part is not valid)
your page than the alternative of using an image quite ordinary swaps for
    your menu.

So, just create your menu from the top images in each row and use Swap of DW
the behavior of the image on each.

And put some tape on this option on the navigation bar, so that you do not use

The correct syntax in CSS is more crucial than you realize. Keep 100% valid at all times. Be not jaded about the syntax, otherwise you'll be wasting hours.

A missing comma, or tour support (instead of a curly {can make all the difference to your page fall out or not.

Set your #banner with the {correct braces} rule instead of round and see the difference.

Because the image is 1000 x 364, it will extend not to a larger size unless you give the instruction to do so.

The best way is to assign the image to a width of 100% and make sure the extra size has not negatively affected the quality of the image.

Do you want to say just do a div boxes style line as I want them to look in a row? What method would you use to make the color change and also enable it to have a direct link? In DW I usually use image swap behavior for a change on mouse over.

  • Universal theme 42 - too long text in the Navigation bar

    Hello

    I use APEX 5.0 (1000 likes ;-) with Oracle 11.2.

I created an application with theme universal theme 42.

Navigation should look like this (for example, without sense):

    1. presentation of the members

1.1 first presentation of car deveopment

    1.1.1another point to navigate

    2. the means of production

    3. last menu point

    3.1. .....

    3.1.1...

    3.1.2...

    ...

The text is truncated or not completely display. For example only "1.1. "first conception of ' appears in the navigation menu. The rest is not visible.

Is it possible to stop the wrapping text in the navigation menu. Looking for the corresponding model, I need to change, I found the 'Link List' model with the CSS classes "t-LinkList - nowrap ' to 'Disable the text wrapping' but I don't no weather is the right way to solve the problem or where I have to activate the Option nowrap.

Another, perhaps better elsewhere would attend the larger navigation bar. But I can't find the right place in the style sheet to change this.

    Any suggestions?

    Ben

Oh, I found the solution. I created a custom in the theme roller css, save under and so on.

Since I am not fully qualified (or hardly) on correct terminology, I included the site evidence at the beginning of this discussion.

    http://www.fairwoodcommunitynews.com/Alphatest/HomeTest2.html

I created a floating boom in Flash CS3; It follows the mouse flies above the Nav links.  I want the arrow to sit directly on the bar, which is a jpeg loaded in my page DWCS3.

Currently, the flash file seems to be sitting directly on the nav bar graph.  For the flash file, I chose to align "Low absolute" and for navigation bar Image, I chose align them 'Top', but these two choices does not work.

Can someone help me with this?  THANKS in advance.

I want to be sure that the base of the arrow key actually the bar, giving the impression that it slides along the horizontal bar not hovering over the bar.
