  I was installing Roboform homepage in Google Chrome and Chrome lost the page halfway through, then said that he could not view this page. • navto links go dead when not the first article of collection

  I feel very odd behavior with navto links in the articles of DPS solution.

  I have an article with a big button with this link: navto://GRhodes_PofC_contents#1--juste the name of another article in the same collection, goes to the second page.

  
  

  If I set up the collection so that the article with the link of navto load first, the button works.  If it is nowhere else in the collection (and I navigate through a link from another article), the button is dead.  It's clearly reading the action because the < = back link is not displayed at the top of the screen.  And no error rises ("content not found"), instead, it does nothing.  Looks like a bug, but I can't diagnose.  I have not tried yet completely rebuild the collection and items on the DPS, but it's my next step.

  Navto in DPS2015 links work much like the previous version, but there are a few differences.

  Within a project, you will have a lot of articles, but the name of each item is unique. Navto://ArticleName will get you to the article, but the relative location where you come from and where you "nav would be-to" has an impact on your experience.

  A navto of one article to another in the same collection has a context, so you can drag the previous or following in the collection items.

  But if you navto an article that is outside the collection, then there's no context for all navigation drag (you can only go back). So a navto an article outside the current collection is a little like walking into a cup bag - you must leave the way you came in.

  The significant passage in the HELP article is in the first section, third indent:

  • If the destination article is located in the same collection that section that the user displays, typing the link opens this article as part of the collection. If the destination article is not in the same collection, it will open in a State that is not bound to a collection, with no article left or right of it. Users can use the navigation bar to return to the original article.

• Hyperlinks not working not not in navto links

  I update 2 apps which consist of 20 items each of which is an index in the form of columns of buttons that are hyperlinks using the navto range. It worked well before ios8, now it doesn't work at all. Links to Web sites are working fine. Can someone explain this to me, I've updated the applications from scratch and got all the latest versions of each thing. Thanks Steve

  Just rebuilt a folio that some navto links were not working in V27 to try and solve the problem - first worked ok but now back to does not! I know that this has been/is a bug - any solution?

  Navto links to jump to a specific page? If so, it is a known problem that some people see in the Adobe Content Viewer. The solution is to build a new Adobe viewer. A new version is submitted to Apple.

  I work in RoboHelp 8.0.2.208. Recently, I deleted a few topics in the project manager and ended up with broken links (I've never had this happen before when deleting a topic). I did a Google search and found a thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2969696) that may or may not treat my problem: a response said: what you need to work, is if it's a real broken link or is it a legacy left by something when he was abducted. If it is a true link broken, you should know where the link is pointing to and change it accordingly. If this is a legacy issue, you will need to find the reference and remove it. A good find and the replace tool would be useful here. Is there a search tool in your Tools tab that you can use. I could start there and see if he can find what you need.

  This response speaks for a legacy and find a reference. However, the section References indicate there is no reference and I'm not allowed to modify, delete, or Restore.The section shows no connection. Recommendations for what I can do to get rid of this list of broken links.

  I sometimes get a message "No references" when I was cleaning things up, although especially when I finished fixing a list of broken references. Sometimes restarting the PC fixed this for me so I just ignore it unless it shows always when I start my computer the next day - I guess that HR holding something in memory and it releases not properly, and who is allowed to get off at the stop. Or you could try closing robohelp and support towards the top of your project, and then delete the cpd and re - open the project. Note: If you've never deleted before PDC, you can do a bunch of broken links we knew never existed and I got to do this as a semi-regular household task.

  According to the response of Barry here URL checker, so broken links produce the text "Error 404" or "error 303", sort the table on that column to raise errors. Select and delete the lines you want.

  We had taken some Word documents and reformatted them as HTML pages due to the requirements of the software we originally intended to use. However, we discovered that she would support not connect between two documents, we decided to try to DPS because we already had it.

  If your folio is a unique orientation, so your HTML files must include a suffix _v or schooling, such as index_h.html for a single folio landscape.

  Dreamweaver displays I have 73 broken links, but they all work in my browser (and other browsers).  Why?  How can I get Dreamweaver to recognize that the links are not broken?

  Can you share a specific example of a link that Dreamweaver is complaining? The links are created by the script (such as PHP or ASP .NET) server-side? Which can spoil Analyzer verification of links in Dreamweaver.

• Links broken after server change

  My company has changed recently (including a new server name) and all links to this server have been broken.  I can manually assign these the new path, but was wondering if anyone knew of a batch edit/search and replace tool like after the server name all remainds the same.

  It is not possible, unless you use a custom plugin (i.e. write a). Scripting and automation in Acrobat can create new links, but can not read the destinations of those that already exist.

• Help topic for air navigation links broken

  I have saved this as a bug, but I was wondering if anyone has experience this problem.

  When generating the "Air support and browser based help" output format (and download the files from the browser to the server web and AirHelp application installation), the navigation links that appear above the window under the buttons of navigation/search bar and assistance are broken. The following example illustrates the uni-volet model, but the problem occurs with all models.

  By clicking on the link of the first or the second heading (in the area surrounded by a red circle), it shows "the page cannot be found" and the navigation links themselves disappear.

  

  I noticed that the problem only exists when the subjects in the project manager are organized in subfolders. If all the subjects in the project manager are in the top-level folder, the links navigate correctly. In addition, the links aren't clickable in online mode, in local mode. I was unable to disable all navigation links, or make it not clickable in mode online.

  I am running RH9, Windows 7 (64-bit).

  Any help would be appreciated.

  It seems that the response should not generate help AIR browser based for the item online.

  I generated webhelp ensuring instead that has unchecked the option display navigation links. With making bread everything worked well in both the online and offline help. The user opens the help and if a connection is available aid uses by default in the view online content, which is local. Without a connection, or when the user chooses to go in offline mode, they remain in the view, but with local content.
