    Hi all

Could someone tell me where to download or get a copy of the OEM Win 7 for my L750 Pro Satellite recovery disk? The laptop has a new HARD drive without a job recovery partition and I don't have the recovery CD.

    Help please.

    > If you have not done some recovery disks, toshiba very kindly will give you some... for $66!
Of my knowledge in Europe you can get it for 30

However, as you say, there is an option to create recovery disk _For free_ and this must be done on the first day of the purchase. In case something goes wrong with the HARD drive, you can use these recovery disks to reinstall the _For free_ system.

By the way: the license at the bottom of the device key belongs to the version of Windows OEM preinstalled on your laptop. Its share of the recovery image.

    Hello

    Very strange boyfriend
Would it be possible that the CD/DVD drive is unable to read the first disc correctly?
I mean, maybe it's a disk problem and not the problem with the data

I don't know what's wrong here, but you have some a lot of m options here:
To recover the laptop, you must use the Toshiba recovery disks or HARD drive recovery
You can use the HARD drive recovery process?
Turn on the device, press F8, choose fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery.

If this is not possible? Well. You can always order a new disc here:

  • Restart the error for Windows Vista with the recovery disk

I bought a Toshiba Satellite A355D-S6889 about two years ago. It came with Windows Vista. I subscribed to Norton AntiVirus and it totally messed up the computer. We lived with a duration of 5 to 10 minutes from start-up. In addition, many programs crash and it takes a lot of time for anything to work. I decided to for a recovery and a restore using the disks provided with the laptop. I followed the instructions, but it keeps hanging up on the second disc.

I tried to use a method that I found searching for forums (restart the computer by pressing '0', but I got lost on the loading cycle.) I'm not very strong programming and I guess when a CD provided by the company must be used for recovery, it should work.  All my programs were legitimate, I want just my OS back so that I can use my computer.

    Help, please. Thank you.

  • L70-B-119 and satellite recovery disks

    Hello

To the purchase of computer SATELLITE phone L70 - B - 119 ffrom Argos - Does it come with greetings DVD backup recovery CD - ARGOS DO NOT WANT to OPEN THE BOX WITHOUT PURCHASE
    concerning
    Toshiba L70 - B - 119 Core i3 17 inch 8 GB 1 TB laptop

Toshiba laptop offers with preinstalled OS but recovery installations discs are not part of the package. Recovery image is saved on the HARD drive and you must create bootable recovery (DVD or USB) media only with pre-installed software.

Toshiba has designed the small Toshiba Recovery Media Creator called tool. This tool creates media bootable recovery you can use for recovery image installation.

I can't say for sure, but I think that Toshiba offers not recovery with new products installation disc for 6 years.

  • Impossible to make with my M300 Satellite recovery disks

    Hi all

I have a new Satellite M300 - 18 p, pre installed with Vista 32 bit. I would like to the rescue disks using the pre-installed Toshiba utility. Whenever I try to burn a disc, the process stops at halfway by saying (and I have to translate this bit): "a problem has occurred in the area of power calibration. code OEO1B5-26-00037304.

The program offers the DVD drive may be defective and urged to try another disc. After 3 disks, I do not believe that it is the cause. I used DVD + r, normally compatible with the driver.
I want the discs received because I want to format the hard drive and do a clean UBUNTU install. Could I decide not to use Ubuntu then I would reinstall the software of origin on the M300.

Can anyone help? Thank you. Kurt

  • What SATA controller driver is necessary for Win XP on Satellite L300 BRAND

    Hello

I need to get rid of vista on my new laptop preinstalled and was going to put Win XP. Of course, Win XP doesn't have SATA support. I've read on how to do (i.e. nlite drivers during the installation of Win XP disk in some way), but I could not find the drivers for it on the web page of Toshiba. Could someone please help and point me to the correct driver for this machine?

Thank you very much in advance,

What you need is the Intel Storage Manager.
The European Toshiba page provides this crib of storage, but you can also download it from the page of Intel. Simply search for Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

The package contains files different and different SATA drivers for different chipsets.

Check it out I m that the Storage Manager is the key ;)

  • Satellite C55A - 1 K 6 - partition which is necessary for the Toshiba system recovery?

    I have a laptop that Toshiba Satellite C55A - 1 K 6.

In the past, I deleted the Partition Recovery Toshiba by mistake and now I want to ask the cause of the thing of this...

When I go to disk management in Windows 8 (which preinstalled by Toshiba on my laptop) I see four partitions...

The first partition is close to 1 GB and I think his need for Windows 8, then I see C and D for my Windows 8 and at the end there is a 11 GB partition and it is hidden and it does not appear in my computer in Windows...

I just created 3 * 4.5 GB defined via Rescue Media Creator Toshiba Recovery DVD and now if I delete all the partitions on the hard drive, can I use these DVD media to restore my laptop to its original state, when I bought it or that I still need the recovery Partition on the HARD drive instead of using recovery DVd media?

If I delete all the partitions on the hard drive now, are these DVD media are enough to return to the first State independent or not?

Sorry for my bad English and I hope to describe things in my head... :)

    Sincerely...

    > in the past, I have deleted the error Toshiba Recovery Partition
It was really bad move since the recovery partition is necessary in order to create the recovery disk or recover the laptop with HARD drive recovery option.

    > The first partition is close to 1 GB and I think that his need of Windows 8.
    That s right.

    > then I see C and D for my Windows 8
    That s right

    > and at the end there is a 11 GB partition and it is hidden and it does not appear in my computer in Windows.
It looks like the recovery partition. But I put t understand why you said earlier that you deleted the Toshiba recovery partition. Could you please clarify this statement?

    > I just created 3 * 4.5 GB defined via Rescue Media Creator Toshiba Recovery DVD and now if I delete all the partitions on the hard drive, can I use these DVD media to restore my laptop to its first State

The recovery DVD set would be to format the HARD drive and would recreate once more all partitions.
The answer is: Yes, it will restore the laptop to the State as on the first day of purchase.

By the way: I found another thread that you created on the same theme:

  • Cannot use created for the Satellite A350-134 recovery disks

EMM, I really hope you can help me.
The laptop says that you create the disc of recovery by yourself, and that's what I did (on 2 Cds)
So I wanted to reinstall my laptop and put in the first cd and booted from the CD. So I came in the Menu.
Then, after some time he asked me to put in the second CD and I did. Then, he said he had a copy of the last 2 files needed error.
So now I can't create the recovery again disk because I have already started to the reinstall. now, I have a few questions

What can I do in general? Because I don't really want to buy for 35 euros a new recovery disk: S

I thank everyone who helps me :D

Of course, you can do this, but please note that you will not be able to activate this version with the product key for the Microsoft sticker, placed at the bottom of your laptop.

  • Satellite L505D-S5965 and recovery disk Creater

I did a clean install of windows 7 when I updated and no longer have the Toshiba recovery disc creator.
I can always start disk recovery tool HARD I did not delete this partition when I upgraded. I would like to be able to create a recovery for my system disk in case something happened to my hard drive.

Where can I download it Toshiba Recovery disk creator tool? Is there another way for me to get a recovery disk?

    Stand by.
I think with your answers you're going in the wrong direction.
Good question, but you asked very Timox offered no exact answer.

Please do not mix two very important but completely different things:
    # New laptops computers are delivered without recovery DVD and the DVD of the facilities must be created by the owner of the laptop. For this application, Toshiba has installed small tool called 'Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator'. This tool can be used for creating discs of facilities only.
    # I don't know not what you understand under HARD drive recovery tool but the fact is that recovery image is recorded on the second partition and can be used for the installation of HARD drive recovery. This can be done if you plant only settings. After the clean operating system installation, you probably won't be able to start the installation of the HARD disk even if the recovery files are always saved on the second partition.

As I see you have American portable model. I don't know exactly how it works there but the principle must be the same as here in Europe.

At startup, you must press F8 or zero to enter advanced startup options. There you should find option repair my computer and next to this option, you enter the with recovery option Toshiba system recovery options.
When you install the clean operating system, this option will be gone. I describe how it works now on the European models, but I think we model it should be similar.

    Once again the important questions:
Have you ever tried to start installation of HARD drive recovery (F8 or 0 at startup)?
Can you he start now after installing Win7? If this isn't the case, you have a problem. I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs when you got your laptop.
