Necessity of Speed™ most wanted (2005) memory buffer/delay on Windows 7

I used to play this game centuries ago and has decided to install on my windows 7 PC. The game starts correctly, but he often hangs out in games, points as the start of the race and where I'm about to crash. This makes the game very boring and almost unplayable. I have a decent life to a graphics card, memory PC that works with games released today, never mind a dozen years ago. I tried to change the compatibility settings, resulting in my PC not recognizing the drive. All solutions?

GPU: Geforce 8800 GT

Integrated graphics: AMD Athlon II

RAM: 6 GB

Using Logitech G27

I have no problem with the game on Win7 64 bit without any compatibility settings,

but it was so long that I don't remember if I had lag issues when you use a 8800GT.

-Have you patched the game up to 1.3?

-If you have set up anti-aliasing to maximally reduce it (512 VRAM are not sufficient to max AA).

Or, if you have the V-sync turned on or off, use the option you do not use.

-Wheel would not factor in there (that I use too, btw).

    Hello.

Could someone play this game on this Tablet?

I've tried EVERYTHING (disconnected, install again, Windows 8.1 for Windows 10, compatibility for XP, 7, Vista, update of the graphics driver, roll back to the older) and even just the game itself installed on the shelf and nothing more!

I have a desktop PC, Windows 10 x 64 4 GB RAM and works without any problem, so obviously something in the tablet.

Always got the message "speed.exe has stopped working". Google, tried all solutions and still can not play

Nevermind, installed new Windows 8.1 this time a clean (booted from USB) and work, compatibility for Windows XP SP3 and resolution 640 x 480.

I hope that this might help anyone who is having these problems, thank you.

    Hi Laurie Dhavidhu,

Game Need for Speed is compatible with the windows operating system 7. You can check the Compatibility Center in windows 7.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

    Follow the steps below:
    1. open your NFS directory.
    2. right click on speed.exe and select Properties.
    3. go to the Compatibility tab
    4. Select the Compatibility Mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and run resolution 640 x 480
    5. now run your game and have fun!

Note: to start the game you have Administator Privlages.
Also perform the clean boot on the computer.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

Follow the steps below to put your computer in a clean boot state:

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    2. click on the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note following this step lets Microsoft services continue to operate. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

Check the link to learn more about the clean boot below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    1. click the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Hello

    1. what file format you are trying to burn?

    2. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    3. What is the security software installed on the computer?

If it's something you downloaded, it may be copy protected by DRM, in which case you may not burn it to a CD or DVD.

Here are a few things to try:

    1. make sure that the disc is clean.

    2. try a different brand of blank discs.

    3. stop all other programs that are running.

    4. make sure that the hard drive does not use disk compression.

    Method 1:

Try to use the Troubleshoot utility to see if that solves the problem.

    a. open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.

Change settings for burning a CD or DVD in Windows Media Player

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-settings-for-burning-a-CD-or-DVD-in-Windows-Media-Player

    Method 3:

If you have any third-party burning software, I suggest you temporarily Uninstall it and then try to burn the disc using Windows Media Player.

Note: Reinstall the software after the trial.

    Method 4:

Temporarily disable all programs that could activate themselves, while burning is in progress, such as screensavers or anti-virus programs.

    I hope this helps.
