    Hello

I had problems with my laptop. After a start-up time specifications and give a problem with the IALMRNT5 pilot report. The laptop also gives some display problems, after a certain time, then another graphic resolution is displayed.

I have restored the software but is not a solution and also I downloaded the drivers from the Toshiba Support Site!
I think the graphics card to give problems.
Where can I buy the new graphics card?
Installed: Intel 915GM/GMS, 910MS Express smart card.

    Hello

It s not possible to exchange the VGA card in your system, since the VGA is soldered on the motherboard (the most important thing of your laptop on which all components are on) and if you have a problem with your graphics card then you should contact a local service partner authorized, due to a hardwarecheckup or a repair of your device.

To find the closest just check the following link:

  • Need of new graphics card for my Satellite Pro M10

    Hello

I guess that my graphics card is broken because the quality of the screen is bad a flickering with green stripes. Almost impossible to read what is on display. In the list of devices, the graphics card is marked with the yellow triangle symbol.

Its seems not to be a driver issue because it's the same thing at the start when you get into the bios (before windows xp starts).

Is it possible to change the graphics card myself? I know, could be difficult, but I guess that I am capable of killing.
    But what card I can use? Now, it's a GeForce4 Go 410.
Can I take a better as long as it's the same size and the need for cooling than the former? How do you know that you can adapt and where to buy?

    I hope someone can help.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hello

Unfortunately, you cannot swap the graphics card because it s soldered on the main PCB (printed circuit board). If theres anything with Exchange of DIY. You will need to swap the whole motherboard to fix this error.
Then if you still have warranty then bring your machine in an ASP. You can also bring your machine to an ASP when not in warranty, but you will be charged for the Exchange/repair of the motherboard and in your case, it could cost about 300-$500 (I'm just guessing, it can be much more expensive..)

So if you really want a machine to work again then check this link:

    > If I need to change the whole motherboard, I'm not sure to do, too much, it will find a new, even renovated...

Even if you would be willing to replace the whole motherboard, you must take the card mother, output for the series of notebook (P100 and A215)
And in most cases, there is only one type of motherboard that is equipped with a GPU identical or similar
So definitely need you a new motherboard if your GPU is defective
In this case the replacement would be a costly affair because new mobo participates more expensive laptop.

In my opinion it is not worth it to do...

  • Do I need a new graphics card

I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3400f running Windows 7 32 bit.  I have a HP x 2301 monitor.  I need a new graphics card to take advantage of the speed of 3 ms of the monitor?  I can renovate such a card?

    Hello

Very nice monitor. The HP Slimline s3400f PC has only a power of 160 watts power is a big problem for the addition of a discrete video card that would allow you to use digital instead of analog video video.  You will see an improvement in the quality of the image with the digital video.

It is possible to replace the power supply and add it to a profile low low-power video card.

Contact Athena and get a recommendation of the PSU. HP Slimline power of Athena. There are also mini-ATX converter cable.  If you get a 220 watt PSU then the below video cards should work.

Look here in HP Partsurfer for video cards that are used in the new Slimline models with a 220 Watt power supply.  These cards have been made specifically for the HP Slimline PC with a 220 watt power supply.

    Hello

I just joined the forums of Dell and I was wondering if I could get help for choosing a new graphics card for my studio xps 8100.

I just bought a power SUPPLY Corsair 600w PSU and was looking for a good graphics card for games (something which runs the games current and near future at the top or above), preferably between 70 and 100 pounds. I took a look at the Geforce GTX 650, and I think that the power supply 600w she'll be fine, but I wasn't sure whether she would be fit in my office. Any advice on the appropriateness of the GTX 650 will fit / work, or any recommendation of something better, would be great.

    Hello Oni21,

  • New graphics card for old PC

Hi, my old graphics card stopped working and I need a new. Now my PC is not the newest most, so I would ask you on what graphics card would you recommend for this PC:

    Procesor Intel 2500K

    8 GB RAM

There was an Nvidia GTX295 inside

    128 GB SSD C: drive

Drive D: 1 TB HARD drive 7200 RPM

E: drive of 1 TB HARD drive 7200 RPM

    Windows 7

I use Premiere Pro and After Effects on this system and for my purposes as a videographer hobby that it was now okay. I need a new graphics card, but I don't want to buy something overkill when it is not necessary that the rest of the components would hold him. Thanks in advance for any help!

If you can find the gtx 650 for about $60, then its ok, if this is not the new gtx 750 for about $100.  This list on the page of hackers is not updated.

Here is the video card manufactured by EVGA.  It shouldn't harm your system somehow.  However, if you have trouble with the installation, you can contact their Technical Support (1-888-880-3842) or online.  They were very useful for me.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  As you can see, there are a lot of comments and appreciation 5 eggs.  You can't do better.

  • New graphics card for Alienware X 51

I want to buy my son a new graphics card for its Alienware X 51, purchased in 2013. The vehicle currently has a Nvidia GT 640, which apparently is not fast enough for new games there.

After reading this topic I think of two cards, I found on Amazon UK:

PNY Nvidia GeForce GTX Graphics Card 960 1127 MHz 2 GB PCI Express

EVGA 2 GB Nvidia GeForce GTX Superclocked GDDR5 graphics card 960.

This is the right type of card? And who would be best?

Power is currently an adapter 240W. Is it necessary to buy a one 330W and must be of (very expensive) Dell, or could I get away with some of the cheapest on Amazon?

Would appreciate some advice please - I can't be wrong!

    9 ½ "card reference only.

Best price card / Best: PNY GeForce GTX 960 4 GB VCGGTX9604XPB

Yes, the Amazon 330 watts power for sale here is the same as my X 51 Psalm 330w

  • Games - Assassin Creed (original) - do I need a new graphics card?

    Information:
I just bought the original Assassin's Creed game for my new computor (2 months).
However, the videos feature a shift of the audio-video and the gameplay is very slow.
After verification of the automatic system of the game, my computor has at least the minimum system requirements to play the game.
I already put it to the minimum performance parameters in the Options menu, it helped a lot.

The Question: Do I have a new graphics card or more RAM or both?

This isn't a bad internal card, but overall, there are better dedicated graphics cards. In addition, some games simply behave better with a dedicated graphics card and receive more support because the players tend to have dedicated ATI and NVidia graphics cards. If you continue to play the latest generation or even current generation games on your computer, I would seriously consider getting a good graphics card...

In addition, the minimum requirements are just that, minimum. He does not play smoothly at all. Just that it's at least somewhat playable.

  • Choppy playback, need a new graphics card?

    Hi all

I am currently using Premiere Pro CS4.

With my GT8800 Alpha Dog 512 mb graphics card, is it sufficient for video editing?

When I play the video on the first, it seems very lag and of course, it is not smooth at all.

I imported the 1920 by 1080 HD format, which is filmed with Canon 5 d.

I am looking at nvidia GFX480/470 or quadro series. But I don't want that there was capacity for a game too.

    Please advise me.

    Please advise me.

Using any version of first before CS5, the video card will make little or no difference in the editing experience.  The biggest performance factors will firstly be the CPU and second memory.  Look for before buying a new graphics card.

Having said that, CS5 is designed with pictures DSLR in mind, wasn't CS4.  Your best bet would be to upgrade first before buying new hardware.

  • new graphics card for a desktop Pavilion p6657c PC

This computer has a 250 watt power supply. I want to get a new video card with more specialized memory (1gig) to accelerate a business program. The operating system is windows 7. CPU is AMDAthlon II x 2 220. It came with an nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, with 256 MB of memory dedicated.

All I can say is that people have added this card on power supply less than 300W.

You can take the risk or not.  Your choice.  I can't tell you what will happen in your specific PC, because I don't know what other material there.

Personally, I think that the card will work fine, or I would not have recommended it.

Manufacturer of the video card normally overestimated the supply needs of power for their video cards, so they don't get a lot of complaints from people saying that their video card blew their power supplies, etc.

For example... I use an AMD Radeon HD graphic card 6670 in my HP 8200 Elite CMT PC business.  The card called 66 Watts max.

AMD said that you need a 400W power supply and my PC has a 320W power.  It's a 80 Watt shortfall.

I ran it like that for 3 years with no problems whatsoever.

I have two AMD Radeon HD 6570 in 2 other of my business office.  AMD says that you need a power of 400 Watt for those too, and I've been running both of these other PC with 320 W P/S for the same all about 3 years with no problems at all.

HP offered the AMD Radeon HD 6450 in the 8200 Elite small form Factor PC, which has only a 240W PSU. AMD says you need a 400W power supply to run this card.  See page 2 of the PC data page and page 15 for graphics cards offered in the form factors.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?DocName=c04313388

This is the power of AMD for the HD 6450 requirements... see the support topic.

    http://www.AMD.com/en-us/products/graphics/Desktop/6000/6450#

If you're still skeptical, I recommend that you either upgrade your diet (I've never done such an update, so I can't help you there), or the use of this handy power supply calculator which will estimate the power supply necessary based on the video card you want and the hardware on your PC.

I bet you will see that he comes up with a value less than 300W.

  • New graphics card for Dimension 9200

    Hello

My Dimension 9200 aging gives me 2 beeps when I turn on and do not release something on the screen. My understanding is that this means that the needs of map graphics replacement, am right in thinking that?

Can anyone recommend one for me as a replacement, ideally available on amazon.co.uk or maybe ebay UK. I do some photo editing, but no game. Inexpensive as well if possible because I think that I've probably will modernize to a new pc soon

    Thanks for any help!

Just to update on what happened with that, you were right about the sound signals are not video card. I installed the new card graphic and who brought the display immediately, but showed BIOS problems with the boot order which must have started when I took the battery, easily corrected when I saw what was happening on the screen. In any case to confirm the nvidia GT630 1 GB works fine but seems slow, it will do as a temporary solution.

    Thanks again for your help!

  • Recommendations for a new graphics card for Prem Pro 2014 (Windows) which offers the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration?

    Hello.

I am inclined to believe that I could take advantage of GPU acceleration when editing as my PC is a little under spec. I have a card but when I switch to the GPU acceleration, it works but whenever I stop moving / play / rub on the timeline the preview screen becomes black.

I don't know who might be the best card to get for my reqs. I don't think I put great demands on the software, but it still hurt. Most of my editing is the lengthy interviews 3-10 min. 2 camera multi-camera editing. I still need to change the curves of RGB, corrector of three way color, transitions and sometimes careful noise reduction. One of these leaves of evil from my PC. All the usual titles, music & voice etc. but nothing too heavy like movies or the insertion of a lot of video lines.

I'm also a little casual work in After effects too.

    PC spec is:

Intel Xeon CPU 1.86GHz (2 processors)

12 GB of RAM, which I'll update to 16 GB

    64-bit op system

    Windows 7

    Radeon HD 5450 graphics card.

Any guidance would be most appreciated

Thanks for the link. Had a look. Needs a long look later as some useful knowledge contained in there. It refers to the CS6 so maybe info is not accurate enough, now for 2014, but good for me to learn more about graphics cards compared to the edition.

    1. CS6 was the basis for a large part of the PPBM7.com site, it has been updated with lots of new data.  The single point of reference on this site in the three versions of the same identical scenario download and is perfectly usable for CS6, CC (7 first) and CC2014 (first 8).  Run and sign up to see the results.
    2. If my assumption on your exact model of the CPU is just a new processor i7 with 4 cores is better than your two Xeons 4 strands because they have no hyperthreading.
    3. You cannot compensate for low performance CPU with a new GPU.
