  I have a R20 tablet pc that I barely use outside the home. I'm looking for a good docking station that let's use me the unit as a vertical screen (with the screen turned around and closed).

  I tried to find a compatible docking station, but found nothing.

  Currently, I use a book holder to hold the Tablet, as it was is a big book. I've been thinking to go to a cabinetmaker, to ask for a piece of wood do the work... Someone has a better idea?

  Unfortunately, this Toshiba notebook doesn't connect with port replicator or docking station. Some units Portege and Tecra models are supported by the docking feature.

  Yes, HP is no more real "docking stations" for its consumer laptops. A docking station is a platform of snap down which provides power to the laptop and replicate ports and allows extensions such as additional hard disks, etc.. Best you can do is use a USB 3.0 "port replicator", many of whom come with video and all the ports that you might want to but not powering the laptop computer. You must always connect a power adapter directly to the laptop to use the port replicator.

  There are a lot of these on the market. HP makes one and others, too. Post back if you need assistance. Expect to pay about $100 + / for one with video.

  It does not open (even if the admin rights).

  As far as I know you have to unpack everything first, and then you will need to run the exe file

  You would need to port usb Replicator options, but noted that these devices require usb 3.0 ports. So for your X 201, you need to get an expresscard usb 3.0 card adapter.

I would like to use the most convenient airport on my MBP feature, however, it seems pointless unless I have connected to my Netgear router/Modem base station. If I have to buy a base station to make the backup of my MBP easier? I also use 6s and iPad Air iPhone. I would be able to save these features too? Thank you!

  1. you must either have a Time Capsule or connect the drive to your computer when you perform a backup.

  2. Time Machine isn't back from iOS devices directly; they should be stored on a computer and the computer saved Time machine.
