• Satellite L300D-01N - need of the keyboard shortcuts for Windows XP

  I have a client who really wanted XP loaded on this Satellite L300D-01N (PSLC8C-01N019), and I have all the drivers are working on it... the only thing that does not work are the shortcut keyboard/function keys. Of course, there is no XP drivers for this particular unit on the Toshiba site.

  Anyone out there had any chance to get the keyboard shortcuts to work for this model?

  I have a script that I use now that I want to replace the bar cropping tool,

  Can I deselect C for the use of the current culture in keyboard shortcuts. When I then go to menus keyboard shortcuts of applications, I am looking to replace the scripts files > "croptool.jsx" and select "C" and it won't let me not use it as it takes a combination of keys.

  I had this problem. I found that a roaming profile directory has been installed which contained a user.js file in which changed the hotkey of CTRL ALT.
  I deleted the profile folder a name randomly in c:/Users / [myuser] / AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles and then I stuck to that of c:/Users / [myuser] / AppData/Local/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles.

  This bad user.js file was some other parameters, including the definition of the user agent string

• I need a serial number for Photoshop Elements 9.

  Last week, I installed the program on my computer.  A few days ago, I contracted a strange virus that crashed my computer.  I would have kept the packaging I guess, but all I have now is the disc.  I checked my computers registry to see if there was no vestige of the number, but there was'nt.  I know that I can use a keygen or any other illegal software but I would have preferred to resolve this the right way.  Where would I get my serial number?  Or one that works?

  If you connect to your bank from adobe account, you should be able to recover the serial number if you have saved it. (If you signed up for photoshop.com, it is recorded).

  I am a student of A Creative and Media studying level. A large majority of my projects and courses include the use of Photoshop, and at the moment I can fill only courses at the College. I finished my qualifications in a little more than 6 weeks, the time and really need to be able to access the program at home, otherwise I'm wasting a lot of time. I can't really afford to subscribe for a year, and I understand that if you have a subscription for less than a month, you can cancel this subscription, otherwise you will pay half of the full subscription price.

  I had some friends offer to install versions on my computer smuggling, but honesty is the best policy and I want to be legitimate. I really desperately need access to Photoshop and do not know what to do! Do I have other options?

• Need new serial number for Photoshop Elements 6 - How do I?

  I bought Photoshop Elements 6 for my mother in 2007. She's FINALLY get around to installing it today and it continues to give an incorrect serial number error.

  So I loaded her top on Team Viewer to make sure that she does everything correctly (it is old) and she was.

  The error screen thought she could retrieve the number of 'my' account or request a new one.

  I've logged into my account Adobe, found the order and re-checked the serial number. It is correct.

  There is no place to apply for a new.

  I hit the button "contact us" below and lost a half hour on chat live only to be told that they can't help and I need to join the forums and ask here.

  I don't want to buy a new version of the product that she will wait eons just to install it again. I'm not closing live enough for her to do it for her.

  How can I get the product to install?

  She was using Windows XP when I bought it for her. She's now 2 new computers with Windows 7 and later.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  OK, as promised, I am here to update the status of this 'problem' my mom has.

  There was nothing wrong at its facility. Before I started to do an uninstall and run as administrator, I put the new registration number and it worked perfectly fine. He went to the registration page asking how I want to the registered product:

  I chose just never and loaded the program without any effort. Why to register again when she already did years ago?

  I'm working on a project where the keyboard shortcuts are the * main * how users will move on to the screen.  This is because keyboard shortcuts are the main means of

  Most of my keyboard shortcuts use a clickbox invisble on the screen.  It worked fine when I preview slides.  Great!  I create about 5,000 of them (OK, I've created about 30).  I've published the project. SWF.  Uh-oh.  The hotkeys DON'T WORK, you hear a beep of Windows instead.  Lesson stuck with no way to move forward.

  Here is some info that might help based on what I could find in the previous questions on the shortcuts:

  -No, there are not many clickboxes using the same hotkey on the same blade

  Your problem is most likely related to the specific shortcuts that you try to use.   Some shortcuts are reserved by the web browser for its own use, and there is very little you can do close to these shortcuts away from him.  The browser always sees before strikes anything running in the browser.  So if he already has an action reserved for this combination, it will use whatever it is you wanted to do.

  This question has been a rude awakening for a lot of people trying to create software simulations for browser-based delivery.

  New to this forum.  Excuse me if Im not in the correct area, please tell me.  I was wondering if anyone knew where the mouse is the best for Photoshop. IE: using the magnetic lasso, fine touch up / restoration work etc.?

  I have a Tablet but my handshake too much to use it.  So I need a replacement for it.  I used to use a trackball on my pc some time ago, but now I'm using a Macbook pro laptop computer.

  I appreciate any suggestions on the mouse and I now I thank you in advance for your expertise.

  I am an old man too and have a few especially left-handed earthquakes. I don't know if Microspeed is still active but I liked their trackball. Only problem was the reliability, I went through three of them within three years.

  Regarding the mouse, I find that I have a mouse that is more than 4 inches long and quite heavy otherwise I raise her rear end and everything goes to hell on the page. I love the Magic Mouse, except that it is too short and not heavy enough, so it's a problem.  If you have a Lion I would get the MM and train - you to not take off.

• Photoshop keyboard shortcuts for Actions CC does not not on Mac Mini Mavericks

  I recently started using PS CC after several years of use of prior versions.  I also have a new Mac Mini running the Mavericks.

  When I record a new action in Photoshop, it is saved and working properly, except the keyboard shortcuts do not work.

  I tried many combinations of different keys who worked on PS versions under the OS' are earlier, but when I press the shortcut keys nothing happens.

  I turned off all unused Mavericks shortcuts in Mac system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts.

  Any idea what I can do to get their work?

  PROBLEM SOLVED.  With my new Mac Mini, I also had a new Logitech K750 Mac wireless keyboard and a wireless Logitech M310 mouse.

  I just unplugged the new keyboard and mouse and re-connected my ancient and old wired Macally keyboard Logitech wireless mouse.  Bingo!  Photoshop Action shortcuts now work as advertised.

  My apologies for not trying it sooner, but since the new mouse and keyboard worked with absolutely all other applications I have, I suspect them.
