  I'm building this interface labview eventualy do strain meter measures on composite samples. I tested what I've done so far in half-bridge config. and so far so good.   LabVIEW should a ratio value (s) accurate material fish when you use DAQmx (one of the "Measurer of strain information" requested as input for DAQmx) to get good accurate values of strain?

  From what I could dig up, LabVIEW will not calculate a coefficient of specific real fish since it is purely an entry and uses only this entry for v.f..  Half and full bridge configurations are only for the "purposes of balance." This limits you to calulating your own fish for the composite ratio, which, at best, would be a way of the materials that you use.  This is a pretty good site for known values of the coefficients of fish from: http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/poissons-ratio-d_1224.html

  I created a partitioned table TEMP as below

  create the temp table partition (number, date date1 to id) by subpartition range (date1) by store id 8.

  Question when I try to add the primary key.  the table above has more than 170 million records.

  This is true for any unique index for any type of partitioning. What does local index? This means that each index partition is associated with a different table partition, so that all of the keys in an index partition refer only to the rows are stored in a single table partition. In such cases the only way that we can ensure uniqueness in partitions (remember the unique index, there is only one line with this index, except NULL key, the entire table) is to have as part of the partitioning columns index key.
