  If you use a non compatible drive the BIOS does not recognize the device and youw he get an IDE error message #1.
  Unfortunately, I didn't find any useful information this disc may be compatible with your laptop.

  What's wrong with your hard drive exactly?
  The Windows operating system is not able to recognize the drive?
  Have you checked the Device Manager? What status of drive appears in Device Manager?

  You should know that each player uses specific Windows drivers.
  This means that you don't need any additional drivers to work correctly from the CD/DVD drive.

  Have you used the Toshiba Recovery CD?

  Like you said you used the Windows XP on Windows Vista compatibility mode. Try to use under Windows 7 XP mode also and check.

  I think you mean 'Free Ride Games Player' and 'EXEtender Player', which are taken in charge by their manufacturer.  I suggest you only watch on its support page.

  You should check with the technical support of the mystery about its requirements for network program. Client/server different programs have different requirements. Certainly, you must assign your portable computer a static IP address. If the laptop is not always in the office or available, it is not really the choice the most suitable to host the game server a program.
