The latest updates until 2015 CC (version 13.6.1 AE) include an update to the OPTIX library so AE can use of new NVIDIA GPU for the ray-traced rendering engine.   I'm a guy MSSQL and Oracle is still a little mysterious to me.  I'm looking for assistance tracking the application in an environment that is responsible for special inserts.

  For example, I have 10 different programs running and inserting values to a DB.  I need to know which of them inserts a '0' in a particular column.

  I found a trigger that will tell me the user, unfortunately these programs use a credential that is shared so that it does not help me... here is what I have:

  Assuming that your keyboard works during boot (and it should; trying to tap F8 to access Advanced Boot Options Menu), probably the simplest method would be to make a Hiren Boot CD, boot from it and use one of the many included tools.  I have not experienced with your particular situation, so I can not tell you what tools will be or will work for you, but my guess is that USBDeView might work.

  Thanks for all the help. Seems that there is no easy 'reset' for bad hardware configurations.

  However, I dug to the bottom of my Lac 'tech' and found a USB-to-PS/2 adapter, which allowed me to use the USB mouse into the PS/2 port and reactivate my USB ports.

  All is well now.

  To develop on the post of Mark, what you do above runs the datagram receiver in the thread of the event, which is strictly verboten. Any blocking operation performed on the event thread can / will cause the event queue to overflow, resulting in an exception "the program is not responding.

  Conversely, you CANNOT access the user interface of a backgropund thread - only from the event thread.

  Thus, you need to separate these two. You can start a thread to handle the datagram, then use invokeLater() in this thread to place your data on the user interface.
