  You are welcome

  If the CD/DVD drive in the works of PC Gateway, you can (at least temporarily) remove it and install it in the HP, you can run your recovery disc and reinstall Vista.  Once everything is running on the HP, you can always remove the CD/DVD drive and reinstall it in the gateway PC if you wish.

  I upgraded my laptop Toshiba Qosmio F30 Edition Vista Home premium that I have received from microsoft.
  After the upgrade, the multimedia keys works not (first row) and also some of the shortcuts that is done by combining the Ctrl + keys to function (such as control + F1 to turn off the screen).

  After upgrading to Vista, I've updated all my device drivers with the second software DVD received with the upgrade to Vista.
  Also once again I've updated these drivers with final Toshiba drivers for Vista dated 04/25/07 on the internet. How to restore the functions of these multimedia keys and other keyboard shortcuts that does not work.

  I ask you: where you have downloaded the drivers and software tools?
  As I upgraded my machine, I had the same problem, so a user has me look on the Toshiba site and there I found some useful drivers.

  Lights off after professional vista upgrade (U400).
  I bought my laptop about a year ago and had upgraded from vista home to vista Professional (operation which was made by the seller because I bought them the license of the company).

  Since then, it is because I have the laptop with me I couldn't turn off the LED lights up or down (satellite and touchpad).

  Is there anyway that I can at least turn them off? Any software driver...

  Lighting can be turned off in the BIOS too.
  Simply access the BIOS, set the lights to turn off and save changes.

  In addition, the light button is controlled by VAP (value added package).
  This package must be installed in order to use the multimedia keys.

• C6150 does not print after upgrading Vista to Windows 7

  Hello.

  I have an AIO C6150, which worked fine under Vista.  Since I've upgraded to Windows 7, I can't get a printout of any application or the windows test print.  The test print HP Solution Center works very well.

  -Printer is connected wireless

  -J' installed the latest driver from HP which is supposed to be ready for Win 7

  -J' have also installed the patch they recommend after upgrade to Vista

  There is no error.  Print job appears briefly in the Print Manager window, then disappears as if it printed.  I am at a loss, any help would be appreciated.

  I found my issue as well, with the help of HP technical support.  Basically, it is a conflict between the generic drivers Windows and whole new drivers from HP.  Once that happened, it was a nightmare to get all the 'remains' of these two uninstalled drivers.  Once we did it, we have been able to recharge the HP driver package and everything works fine.

  Since no one has replied with an answer to my question, I've finally worked it on my own. I learned that you cannot make a new recovery disk system after the upgrade to Windows 10, if you had already created one when you got your machine under Windows 8.x

  Context: after upgrade to Windows 10, the HP Support Assistant kept prompting me to create a system recovery disk.  I did one when I got the machine 2 years with Win8.  I didn't replace my original recovery disk, so I went out and got a new 16GB USB flash drive. When I inserted this new drive and attempted to create a recovery disk, the PC told me I couldn't do one, because you are allowed to make a recovery disc by PC.

  So it was kind of stupid that after completing the upgrade of Windows 10, HP Support Assistant tells people to do. It should just check itself and see if a disc has already been done. All this anguish for nothing!

  I was running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit for many years without any serious problem. After the upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit I was prey to a BSOD random. I have the latest drivers and BIOS. I disconnected all my equipment and refurbished it. I used the diagnostic tools to test my memory 4G and my Seagate 1 t SSHD hybrid and they passed. I changed the sata connection cable my HD to the MB. I did a Windows repair (scannow) and also done a repair install and it did not help. Although these questions is past the BSOD after upgrade to Win 7 64 bit, that I suspect may not be associated with Win 64 bit but could be hardware related. Any help to solve this issue will be appreciated.
