Need help moving between slides

How to make a Captivate movie, upon their publication, to move to one side at a time by pressing the ' enter '? I need the Captivate movie to act as a Power Point presentation. Thank you!

Hello
Here is an alternative that works very well, especially if you have already designed all / most of your slides:

Add your first slide two click boxes. Position them wherever you want (for example at the top left and top right). Assign one to go to the next slide and the value of entry as a shortcut key. Set the other to go to the previous page and set the BACKSPACE key (for example) as a shortcut key.
Together the two infinite attempts.
On the Options tab, select rest of slide, then uncheck all the boxes. This for both boxes, click.

Now, activate the two boxes to click and copy them.
Then select all the slides in the film except the first slide Strip. Press Ctrl + V to paste the click boxes. they will be glued on all the slides except Quiz slides.

Get an overview of your project and test your shortcuts.

  • Need help: moving from Outlook 2000 to Windows Live Mail

I would like to ask my question/problem to be seen by someone who is an expert in your e-mail programs (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, etc.). Thank you!

    Here's the scenario:

    (1) we have a PC of office 9 years old who is replaced.  The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition - SP 2.  This PC runs a Microsoft Office 2000 Professional for ever... including Outlook 2000, which we use for our home e-mail accounts.

    2) there are 2 users on this PC (myself & my wife).  Outlook 2000 is configured in a way that allows both of us to share these same accounts. Regardless of whether I am connected to the computer or that it is recorded, when launch us Outlook, we are all two accesses to the same ".pst" file with the same Messages, the same Contacts & calendar.  (There are currently 2 set POP3 e-mail accounts in place of our provider (Verizon) that both feed into the same Inbox reception & records).

    (3) the old PC is replaced by a new system of office under Windows 7 Home Premium.  The new system came preloaded with Microsoft Office 2007 - Home & Student edition - comprising STEPS of Outlook.

    (4) outlook is a great program, but also because it's like a desktop messaging system, it's really more that most need people for the welcome e-mail.  We therefore decided to try Windows Live Mail on our new computer.

    (5) I've copied the ".pst file ' of our old PC to the new & attempted to import the messages into Live Mail.  Live Mail did not provide an option to import this format - only Outlook Express 6, Windows Mail & Windows Live Mail itself seem to be supported.

    (6) I read a message board entry online (can't remember where) that said that Outlook 2000 is not in a format that is compatible with Live Mail.  So, on our old computer XP, I opened OUTLOOK EXPRESS & imported all messages, contacts and calendar entries in Outlook 2000 ".pst" file.  The problem is: I don't know what to do next!  Everything is imported in Outlook Express on the old PC, but I don't know the name of the file they are or what I should do to get the Live Mail on the new PC to see.  The Dell tech support technicians were absolutely no help at all, I have turned to you all!

    Here are my questions:

Can I configure Windows Live Mail to work in the same way that Outlook 2000 - shared between 2 users?  Our provider allow multiple e-mail addresses.  They all do not have to feed in boxes receive same account, but for myself & my wife, I would like to be able to see the Archives of message even when we are connected.

In addition, my wife got a new Windows 7 laptop.  Would it not possible to 'network' of the ".pst" file in a shared folder so that each computer can see it in Live Mail?  (It would be a "friendlier", but it isn't a necessity by all means).  Or Live Mail not use same ".pst"?

Or do we forget Live Mail completely & buy Outlook 2007?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Dexter

You do all the right things!  To find the folder that contains the Outlook Express files on the old XP computer, click Tools > Options > maintenance > store folder .  Copy this folder on the Windows 7 computer.  Then import Microsoft Outlook Express 6 on Windows Live Mail through this folder.

Windows Live Mail supports multiple e-mail accounts.  Each has its own set of folders (Inbox, sent, deleted items, etc.).

Only Outlook uses ".pst" files  I don't know of any way to share a file between two computers ".pst".  You can set up e-mail on computers programs to read the same incoming messages.

  • Need help moving SL to El Capitan

    Here's the scenario-

I tried El Cap on an external and everything works fine - apps, etc. I need to update as much as I hate (Firefox and Safari is no longer supported in SL, among other needs).

I have an iMac that is partitioned - everything is on SL, and the partition of El Cap is OS only - no data or other stuff - essentially Virgin.

I want to use the migration assistant make SL more to El Cap - all data, user prefs etc, as well as the El Hat will be a 'mirror' of SL as far as it goes. Pretty easy (and Yes, I have 2 backups of SL, including a Super Duper clone I have questions).

Anyway, and here is the background of the question - the last time I tried this - a few days ago - the El Cap itself folder renamed 'Phil 1' (my SL home folder is "Phil"). So I deleted the partition El Cap and start over. I want the El Cap home folder to be "Phil" and not "Phil 1". Someone me locally to create a test user and rename when I migrate. If this is the case - to create the Test user in SL or El Cap before migrating? Or y at - it an easier alternative? How to make the El Cap folder named what I want?

I start in El Cap and migrate it to SL? Seems that the only way, unless I'm missing something (?)

Or by the way - I keep the partition SL and my backups for a while - just in case.

If you have created an account in El Capitan named 'Phil', then the migrated account will be called "Phil 1" because that the Migration Wizard will not overwrite any existing account with the same name. What you need to do is create a new account named "Test" and make an account Admin connect you to 'Test' and remove your other accounts. Re-emigrate account you want to use named, "Phil." Then connect to "Phil" and delete the "Test".

I'm guessing that the file is in .flv format? If you convert
the file to WMV format, you should be able to import
    in Movie Maker and edit.

    The following freeware can convert:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.pcfreetime.com/
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup250.zip
(FWIW... installation..., you might want to
Uncheck all of the boxes on the last screen)

First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

In Movie Maker, drag the video on the timeline and split
the video on each side of the unwanted part and right
    Click on / delete it.

My brother gave me his computer witch a dreamweaver MX (it is in Irag) so I can start building my own construction sites. I went to borders and bought a book on dreamweaver MX. Here's where I'm having a problem with: when ever I bring an image in the document window, I can't move the image around the document window. The book says "place the insertion point where you want the image to appear" but there is no insertion point. There is just a straight line as if I am trying to type something. It's almost as if I'm in microsoft word. If I take the mouse on the image, and then left click and try to drag the image to the location I want, it does not move. • How to create a transition between slides to scroll smooth again Keynote?

In previous versions of Keynote, it was possible to create a scroll of transition between slides. From left to right or top to bottom.

Now the closest thing seems to be "moving" and what it does is create an effect where a slide slides across to reveal the following. This does not create the smooth effect, I'm trying to get.

Anyone know how I can hack it, or recreate it in the latest version of Keynote?

If I came close to understanding your needs, I suggest to try the PUSH transition.

  • Flashes of white between slides during playback?

Need help desperate for a Sunday afternoon delivery.  I am experiencing very short white flashes between some of the screens in my exported project. How can I get rid of this!

    Here are the details.

    • Captivate 9.
    • For the latest version of Flash and HTML
    • Reading of a published locally (drive C).
    • No transition is not defined for the slides in the project.
    • No flicker seen between the slides that are static slides
    • Quick Flash white, seen reading between the slides which were both recorded in video mode (captivate exploded from the movie mode record in 6 second screens)
    • All slides, set to auto play the next slide.
    • Preloader % is set to 100.

You can post settings? I do not see your answer to the question of the stem: are the slides 'video' FMR (former type, automatically created by Captivate when necessary) or slides of the video demo? Several users on this forum and in my experience, FMR slides really do work well for HTML output on devices. I avoid them when possible and replace them with video demo slides when I can't avoid them. It is still work, but the result seems to be more systematically work on all devices.

  • Need help with the lettering complex

    BMW Cert logo1.jpg

Well, I try not to ask questions on this forum without trying things myself. I understand the time of other people very important. In any case, I took a class at a technical college and have a home classroom course that I'm doing right now. Unfortunately, at this time I need assistance. This logo needs to be recreated for vector art because it will be printed on a very large substrate. The customer has no access to vector art.

I need help... I'm very proficient with the basic tools, the pen tool including. However, create complex lettering like that, I don't have a lot of experience with.

The lettering is so my * right now. Also, I can imitate the gradient for bars decently, but get with the little rounded in angle gradient effect.

I do not beg for help, but I might help! ?? I'm not looking for someone to do the work, rather to provide advice, so I can go my way through this. The customer contacted my boss today and he needs Monday for a meeting, so I'll have a project to do over the weekend.

To print the black spot. Any advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. After work tonight, I'll go in my classroom in a book to pick up useful tips.

    Thank you all,

    Andrew

All paths shift (the inner paths of all the characters) are a single compound path and receive a fill of three-stop linear grad at 0 degrees.

All original paths (paths outside of all the characters) remain separated and a three-stop linear grad to 120 degrees fill is applied (so each external character has its own grad which can be set individually).

Small individual adjustment of the grads on each external character can match very closely the layout of tones of bevel of the original that you are trying to imitate. Keep things simple. Consider shading Emboss edges carefully and try to see them as linear graduates extending on the entire character and not as a pile small tedious individual details of packaging around the character. Then do shading with grad stops as little as possible. Understand how to "shake" or "refine" travel between the grad stops moving the gamma pointers that lie between each pair of grad adjacent stop biased towards a stop or another. More transitions - particularly on bevel veneers - the most 'sparkle '.
