• I really need help for after effects cs5

  Can someone help me with this please. My once effects cs5 gives me this problem it hangs on initialization of the engine type. I wasn't like this last year but this year it appeared this way please help I have a major project of College ends please . I've updated to the latest version but problem still appear. I have also uninstall and used clean Script / utility but still no change. If someone out there could me sitting with this problem God bless

  You have a "bad". Remove all the fonts which you do not currently need and added recently, then try again. If necessary, remove all the fonts down to only the default fonts of operating system, and then selectively add additional fonts only when you really need it.

• Need help please with effects

  Hi, I made a nice wavy effect on the title of the text I did a music video. The title remains for the duration of the song. At the present time however it stops waving to half way through the song. I don't know why this is the case can someone help? Thank you

  I see what you mean. I did a 00 08; 00; 00 title and applied to wave. TO 00. 02; 08; 00 it stopped "deformation".

  At that time, I did a Ctrl-k to shorten the title to the CTI. I removed the wave Warp effect and then he forms base to the next part of the title. I couldn't tell where stopped and another started. If you can see any sort of 'pause' in the distortion, you can do a fade on the Cup. If you wish, you may need to repeat this procedure to get the length you want.

  Once arrived at the point where it stops for you, use the left/right arrows to get to the first image where the effect ends and cut there.

  I never saw this before, but then added never this effect to nothing more that about 20 seconds in duration - it seems just short of gas and stops. Interesting.

  I hope someone can help me to decrypt this code. I'm a web designer, but I'm working with HTML, PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript not so much. I have a new customer, and they already had a website designed entirely in Flash. Now, they want only some parts of it and the rest in HTML. The problem is that I don't know much about ActionScript and I'm having a hard time finding ways to do what I want.

• Need help recreate my logo

  I have a logo that someone updated for me, but I wasn't able to get the original files before their computer crashed and they are closer for me to be able to their request. I got the fonts, they have used and was able to recreate most myself but I don't know how the chain/flame was created. These would be the vectors? I want to change a bit but don't know where to start or what to do. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

  It was created with a string of solid color that corresponded to the police, but when I recreated I changed the flame/string that you see now, which was created in a separate se file and that's what I want to recreate.

  Looks like it is retouched to give the metallic appearance. Could even initially 3D with specular light. In any case, they did a good job. I did a quick search but nothing that really matches these channels (which leads me to believe it was all custom). You could do it yourself, because most of the work would be to make copies of 'links' and change just to watch as they adjust around the fire. A lot of time, though.

  Photoshop has very similar vector tools such as Illustrator (of course, being from the same company) but Illustrator goes further as she works exclusively in the vector.

  I would like to use a graphic of the query (source AVI) as my overlay on the text.  How can I do this?  I use AE CS3.

  If I understand correctly, you want to use your text as a cache for the video layer Layer (IE, view video content within the text), right?

  If so, there are two ways to do this.

  One is hidden.

  Make sure that the text layer is located directly above the video layer in the timeline.

  Press the "Toggle Switches/Modes" button at the bottom of the timeline panel.

  When you do so, AE displayed in this column the mixture and follow the fashions masts instead of layer switches (motion blur, 3D, adaptation etc). They will come back if you press the button again.

  Select the video layer and then hidden in the menu "matte Alpha - (your text layer name).

  This means that transparency in your text layer information will be used to hide the video layer.

  Of course, it works with any type of layer, as long the masking layer is located directly above the layer hidden in the timeline (a way to circumvent this requirement is to use this effect rather than matte controls, but we don't need to get that fancy right away)

  You can distort the line using a filter to strain or several different lines to draw and animate.

  The best way to do may be to make a completely transformed copy of the audio file with the low filter pass and reverberation. Then ask this on another audio track and cross melted between the original and processed audio tracks.

  A man holds a flashlight illuminating a girl in the front (she is a bit away from him in an open field), now the shadow of another person walks between the torch and the girl. The shadow is being cast from left to the right end of the frame, falling on the girl, too, as it moves.

  How to achieve this effect in the aftermath.

  It may or may not be a question of amateur, but any help would be so useful.

  It is now much clearer. you need advice VFX before your shoot. You must have a shadow without the man, be there. I think you can go 2-way with this: shoot twice the place or go to the green screen approach. each with its own complexity and the advantages and disadvantages. I will describe the basic principles:

  Approach to location

  If you want to try to do on-site, you can:

  1. turn your scene with the man and shadow

  2. pull on the same stage without human and shadow

  3 mask man with the rotoscoping and tracking

  This might work if you have no movement in your scene. or if you have motion control of drilling that will exactly twice the same movement.

  The green screen approach

  your question - if you can touch a person out and make him a shadow on the floor - YES. It's the way I'm going to try to do - it's called a Shadow Catcher - a layer that only accepts your shadow. This might work with or without movement of the camera.

  Let's say you have this guy on green screen

  

  and you want to just its shadow on the background against

  

  Here are the steps:

  1 make the guy (layer locked) 3D and add a corresponding upstairs floor * in the actual shooting.
