  I had the same problem.  But finally found a solution.  If your listing is similar to mine, then keep.  XP Media Center Edition 2005 (sp2).  AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-Core, HP a1630n desktop computer.

  Go to the HP website, search for sp37394-XP sp3 Upgrade utility Microsoft for systems equipped with AMD processors.

  I had the same 0 x 80240036, 0x8024400a error, but realize my problem was really get manually downloaded sp3 and installed without continue loop crashing and not error messages.

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Data recovery:

  1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  I'm building my first site flash on AS3 and I'm having some problems that I can't solve.

  Question No. 1:

  I have a video that plays on a page (frame) and want to go to the next page after the video is finished. It's pretty easy... I did a search for information and came to the top with something in the sense of (written in memory):

  And it worked fine when the page loaded initially (it was the homepage), but after he moved to the next page, I clicked the button which takes back me to the homepage and what might happen is that the video would play for about 1 second and send me back to the next page. My assumption is that what is happening is in loading, the event listener is to see that the video does not play, assuming that it is finished, and it takes me to the next page. If this is true, is there a way to delay the eventlistener?

  Question 2:

  The buttons on my page of sparkle. I read on this topic, and I apparently it's because I'm on a mac. I checked on a PC and the flicker isn't here so it must be because im on a mac. On a forum I found the following line to fix it:

  btnHome_mc.buttonMode = true;

  The problem is... I never wrote this line, and if it is a code generated automatically, I can't find it in the scripts of action... so I'm stumped. Any help?

  Press Q to the Quick Mask Mode and use the gradient tool. Set Options from black to Transparent. Press Ctrl + a (select all), and then drag your tool degraded in function. Press Q to return to the choice and apply your blur. It's not like Radial blur.

  I downloaded the havce to uninstall Service Pack 2 only because when I rebooted the computer system has 4-bit color without the possibility to change and everything was HUGE. I'm working on a new hard drive (180 MB) and I don't know if I need to update the drivers that came with my gateway first, before I can install SP2 correctly.   Looks like you have made incorrect changes in system configuration utility.

  See the Microsoft articles below to solve the problem by installing the recovery console and use the Bootcfg.exe tool to rebuild the Boot.ini file.

  Have you tried the "Drag and Drop" tool in the area of point? It gives you a good overview of how your objects are organized.
  If you set field = no to all the consecutive elements, they should be in a cell, on the side of all the side. Then enter a space before the text of the label for a little distance for readability.
