  I bought a HP Pavilion dv6tse-3000 Select Edition laptop PC in August of this year, and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium. I started school in September and got a licensed copy (true of course) of Windows 7 Professional edition (the one that comes with a remote server through VPN), and finally I had just enough time on a weekend open to install it.

  Thing is, which is the edition that my school licensing is NOT a version upgrade, rather a full version requiring a clean wipe of my HARD drive. Anyway, this led to erase me my disc to install, leaving the drivers must be reinstalled.

  So I reinstalled all the off-site Internet HP specialized for my computer and my copy of Windows 7 64 bit, and everything is pretty much in working condition and return to the same except for two things...

  The first would be Smart Menu of HP I think as they call it, mainly the small poster that come on the screen when you press the hardware buttons like volume up/down or mute, etc. That isn't really a huge problem, but if someone knows how to get back them please share

  The biggest problem is the validity sensors/finger printer scanner that my laptop is equipped. I installed the latest drivers from the HP site, and it seems as if they installed smoothly, they appear in my add/remove program Panel and Device Manager shows that it works, but the problem is how I use it now? I used to scan my finger to simply log into Windows and unlock my account instead of using a password and scan on websites that require log ins, but this Panel is now gone!

  HOW CAN I GET THAT BACK?

  You could try renaming the file, including the extension and then delete. Which can sometimes do the trick.

• Flash CS5 beginner - need help with Add URL link animated banner

  I apologize if this is a very basic question, but I am a newbie in Flash design. I created a basic animation in Flash CS5 and I need to add a clickable URL link. I tried a few tutorials that seemed promising, but none of them solved my problem. I tried a number of things, including the conversion to parts or all of the simple images buttons or movies and linking them this way as well as type in the code ActionScript 2 and 3, which none was successful. The animation plays correctly in my browser, but when I click it, the link does not work. I wish that the entire banner clickable to take viewers to the website linked instead to use the text of the hyperlink. Also, when I open the Code snippets window, it is empty, any image or image I selected. Do I need to import snippets of code somewhere or just will I things the wrong way? Any help is greatly appreciated!

  go to your help section and search the reference Guide of Action Script 3.  It is the repository of all the possibilities of ActionScript with Flash and Flex.  You can consult the alphabetical index URLRequest and navigateToUrl.  There could even be code samples included.  I haven't looked right, but you'll probably get before doing so.

• Need help with the removal of a document. Ask if I want to delete, click Yes, but will not remove.

  I have a photosmart 4580 printer. When a document has been interrupted for some reason, I can't delete it. Other ducuments can be deleted, but this one remains. Can't print other documents until it is removed, but I can't remove. Help please

  In Control Panel, open administrative tools and select abuse.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
   
  Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  I have some problemsthe same exact problem like Daren... set up my site to go live. Here's what I've done so far:

  (1) built the site and pushed it live

  2) updated the site

  (3) put in place a GoDaddy domain name

  (4) set up servers on GoDaddy

  (5) put in place the account information associated with British Colombia

  And then... nothing.

  I then removed from the area and tried to repeat the process, in case I missed something, but now I can not put in place a new area and get the error "field already exists. Please delete all the records associated with this area. What records? What does this even mean?

  Anyone can guide me please you through the steps to get this live site?

• Need help with the sRGB setting works correctly.

  After reading a lot of comments from all kinds of sources, I decided for my purposes, it is best to put my Photoshop CS4 in sRGB. The problem I have is that often if I drag and drop an image as a new layer on another image I get a warning asking me if I don't know I "want to convert colors to a destination document with a color profile that does not match the current RGB workspace?"  She continues to tell me that my source is sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 and that my destination is Adobe RGB (1998) and that the work is sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.   Given that I put my Photoshop under Edit > settings of colors of sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 and I have my camera to sRGB color I wonder why the window tells me that my destination is Adobe RGB (1998).  I initially shot in RAW and then open my photos in Camera Raw in Bridge and when I'm done with whatever changes, I want to do I simply 'Open Image' which, of course, it will open in CS4 where colors, is once again, sRGB.  What else do I need to change to get all operating under colour adjustment sRGB?

  The color camera setting applies only to JPEG files as you shoot.

  If you shoot in RAW, then your image has a color space that is applied until you open it in Photoshop.

  At the bottom of your Camera Raw window is a hot blue link. Click it to open the workflow Options.

  Here, you can change the color space, Bit depth. Size and resolution that your image open in Photoshop.

  These settings in ACR to override settings you have for your default color space in Photoshop

  Hi I created a form with drop down menus and multi line text boxes. I first created a text box and then copied and pasted to save time. The only problem I have now is when I type in the text box or select an option from a drop of water in the menu drop down, it changes all the text boxes and drop-down menus. See photo. I really want to create this form again. I realease if I rename each being sort however I would really like to have the same name. Please help if you can.

  I'd appreciate comments on this 'project', I want to finish. Since then, I almost never finished anything, that would mean loads for me.

  OK, so where to start...

  The design. The design is quite simple - basically it's ice on the top of the image and the flames at the bottom of the image. The ice cubes are made up of layers of 6-8; The problem is once you merge layers, the ice cube effect is drastically changed and looks really bad. Ice cubes have a layer of "Tag" which is located under the layers of ice and is like, well, a fund specially for the ice. The flames are made up of only 2 or 3 layers; No problem with the merger of these layers. They also have a "plate".

  The image was filed in Photoshop and amounts to a reasonable size 990 kb once "saved for Web and devices."

  I hoped that Flash could do for me. I was hoping I could animate the layers 'Plate' and I have a sort of effect 'Streaming Glow'. After that, I was hoping to add a drop of two of the ice, drip and then hit the flame and creating increased smoke effect. Once this done, I want to use the design as a background for a Web site. I was hoping I could get the parties animated running separately (on top of) the design of JPEG.
  

  My struggles. I'm not entirely sure where to start and I could use a modicum of 1 to 1. Apologies if my description is not sufficiently specific for a good inside look.

  I wouldn't recommend that you try to remove this yourself in a single layer flattened like you talk basically implement something like effects of Pixel Bender that aren't on the beginner to put side. Their animation in flash on a timeline is more your level.

  You can also do a simple google search for plugins (free for commercial purposes) in order to achieve the effect, but it will come down to some codes. The plugin this encoding may be simple or difficult. As they say, anything worth doing is worth doing right that requires experimentation and perspiration.

• Need help with weird BACK button

  Hi, I'm doing a Flash banner online.  My employer needs a tag click on put in but also wants a replay button that will go to frame 1 and replay the animation (I already have a stop on the last frame action).  I'm using Actionscript 2 btw (I must according to the instructions of the employer). What I did for the link button that requires the click tag, I created a box about the size of the entire banner, drew another small box on top of it that is directly above hence is the play button, then I deleted the smaller box, creating a hole in the largest area where is BACK button.  I then did the big box a button, dragged the high State to the State of positioning, then back on the stage 1 following required, click tag, I added:

  It's par for the course on how to get banners here (like make a button the size of the ad and adding the click tag to it, but I did not yet a BACK button). Then I created a small oval in the hole where the big button was, it's a button, put "Replay" on it, then return to scene 1 added the following code:

  }

  But when I go to the banner, the replay button does not work and I get the following errors for the 3 lines of code:

  Specified invalid mouse event. Statement must appear in the Manager

  And did you really use this code (spelling and syntax errors):

  It should be:

  The thing that I would need help with is the buttons that moves... Say there are 2 buttons on the stage, when someone clicks the button, the button from left to right movement and opens something when it stops there. So long it's fine for me, but now the peal problem.
  
  The thing is I want the button now on the right rear to place there where appropriate when I click on a button of the second (and it goes right to the place). When I do now the first button remains in place right... Do someone know what to type in Actionscript?

  There is here an example that leads you through the steps of construction of the dynamic tables: http://assure.ly/gk8Q7a.

  If you use the table object, you don't need to wrap in a subform. If you select the rank in the hierarchy, you can go to object > Binding palette and assign Repeatable.

  The other question is to ensure that the form is saved in a dynamic form of XML in the Save - as dialog box.
