  You should be able to open the file in Internet Explorer or another browser that you use http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/aspx.  If it does not open, you may need to set the file association.

  You may need to add aspx for file associations.  Do so right click on the file and select open with and then select Choose default program.  Select among the options provided, or if your browser is not listed select Browse and search the executable program for your browser (you should be able to get a hint by a right-click on the browser shortcut and selecting Properties and then look at a target).  Make sure that the default program.  Then the file should open in the browser.

• Need help to open pdf files

  I have a cd that I had for several years, and was able to use until last year.  Suddenly, Adobe Reader (I tried several versions, updates, patches, whatever!) said that each pdf to disk file is damaged.

  This is a CD that has been able to start up on its own and had varied menus to join the final pdf pages.  I can't open the files through windows Explorer or through the menus.  Each time, the error message tells me the or files has been damaged because it was sent by e-mail or any other method that caused the damaged files.  The problem with this is that files and cd have never altered, as the cd is not rewritable.  It is also not hacked, if someone is going to ask this question.

  The cd is a manual for my vehicle.  It has a parts manual and a workshop with other elements manual.  When the cd is put in the drive, it will automatically start, but failed to get a single file opened.  I tried this in two different systems, and I get the same results.  The strange thing is that I have files created in earlier versions of the player who still work.  So why not this one, and why not someone from Adobe available to help me straighten it?  Shame on them!

  I am facing the similar problem. Not able to open some PDF files. Could open until 2-3 months back. Did an analysis that is not able to open files created with the previous version of the Adobe Reader 9.0. Also tried opening the same PDF files in the laptop computers of my colleagues and my PC at home. Without success.

• Need help with the batch file command - move all files/folders

  I need help creating a simple batch file that performs the following operations:

  Move all files AND folders in a source folder to a target folder. The source folder will be mklinked with the target folder and an infinite loop can be possible, not sure if any order would be necessary here to avoid this? Executed once A thing, or a thing to stop?

  It comes to free up space on an SSD by iTunes forced location for backups and apps to be physically on another HARD drive, but available as if it were in default location.

• Need help with the advanced file Type changes

  Somehow all my folders of changed files option.  Instead of the folder when you click it, it opens the search.

  I know where and what to change, just do not know how.  Under Tools > folder options > file types, I select "files" and click "Advanced".  Of course, it says 'find '.  I click on 'new' under 'action', I type 'open', but what should I put under "Application used to perform action:"?  It won't let me not leave the field empty.  When I looked to see how it was done in 'file', 'edit' is gray.  I tried to look on other computers, but everyone has Vista, Vista doesn't even have a tab "file type" under folder options and I couldn't find it anywhere else.

  Even if you don't know the answer, if you could look to see what it says on your computer and let me know.  Like I said could not find on Vista, I am running XP.

  Yes, I know that I can do a right click on the folder and open it, and that's what I do.  It really happened to be a pain in the you-know-what.

• Need help with a spot file

  Hi, I have problems with a spot channel file.

  When I open it in Photoshop, the channels are perfect - 2 colors - black and PMS 1505.

  But when I try to separate them in prepress, Agfa or even 8 Quark - it separates the black CMY and 1505.

  I need the Quark file to only 3 color (money too, but this isn't a part of this photoshop file) not a work of 6 colors.

  I saved the PS file as pdf and DSC.

  Any ideas?

  You have empty CMY channels in the Photoshop file?

  It's been a while since I used XPress, but traditionally XPress really, really, wants to see channels CMY and K in images, even if they are empty strings. Without all the CMYK channels things used to separate the oddly. I don't know that the folks at Quark did not worth to fix it.

  My continuous flash file in a loop at the end of my stop ignoring and defer orders.

  It works perfectly until the last frame/command. I want it loop to the first image, and for this, but then the movie will not properly there after. Is there anyone who can help me with this file, please?

  Here ya go Linda.  This has proved to be a little more work than I anticipated, but not too bad.  This is because I thought I was just able to enter and change what you had, but I didn't understand how you did, or really know anything on the as2, so I just redid it.  Images are resized and I think it does what you want.  Take a peek.  Everything is controlled by AS3, there is nothing on the stage of the timeline.

  I did a lot of comments, but let me know if you need any help to understand the logic and flow to tweak it for your own use.

• Need help with opening to the conversion of Lightroom

  I am doing tests with Lightroom and have questions about the structure of the file after the import of Aperture.  I see that the import into Lightroom preset creates a very nice folder structure that can be seen in the Finder - year / month / event or day.  But in Control Panel folder in Lightroom, all I see are the records of the event: it's as if the entire folder structure is flattened and none of the parent folders (year / month) are showing.  There is therefore a ton of records.  Why the folder Lightroom Panel does not show the real folder structure in the Finder?  Is this normal?

• Need help with formatting of file

  I created an InDesign file that has a combination of images and text. The text has been pasted from another document, so I used the function of automatic debit. I added photos in mine. Now I need to edit pages in my document, but every time I do the format of pages later gets disturbed (ie. the text moves, but the photos are not). Is there a way to change this for the layout of each page is unchanged, leaving the appropriate text «locked "to the appropriate images?» I use creative Cloud version of Id.

  I'm working on this playbook app where I can download a file (a zip file) from a site and then open it on the playbook. Before starting my work on this I learned Adobe air and created the same on this, because I heard that the playbook supports Air.

• Need help with OpenAL

  We are having some trouble getting OpenAL for work on the Playbook.

  The first call OpenAL we do is:

  alcOpenDevice (0);

  When we call alGetError(), immediately after, it returns AL_INVALID_OPERATION.

  Although the subsequent alGetError call returns AL_INVALID_OPERATION, the call to alcOpenDevice in fact does not return 0. Also, the next call to alcCreateContext generates AL_INVALID_OPERATION but seems to take place by the return value. alcMakeContextCurrent does not generate an error.

  Note: If we call alGetError() before the call to alcOpenDevice(), it also returns AL_INVALID_OPERATION. The OAL documentation says it should return AL_NO_ERROR in this case. This may or may not be a clue.

  Also note: we tried to call

  alcOpenDevice (alcGetString (0, ALC_DEFAULT_DEVICE_SPECIFIER));

  and

  alcOpenDevice (alcGetString (0, ALC_DEVICE_SPECIFIER));

  Two of these appeals give the same result as alcOpenDevice (0);

  More information, that may be irrelevant because of previous problems: alutLoadMemoryFromFile returns 0 in these circumstances but does not generate an error. alBufferData then generates AL_INVALID_ENUM or AL_INVALID_VALUE, probably due to the data parameter passed by 0.

  Someone here managed to use OpenAL in a Blackberry app on the Playbook? That could hurt us? Thanks in advance for any potential leads on this issue.

  I can't understand how to access the Camera Raw.  Currently, I use Lightroom, see no reason to move to the bridge.  I downloaded the free 30 day trial of CC of Photoshop and would love to learn how to use it.  But without Camera Raw, I'm having a hard time!
