  I use ADF Faces & BC, JDeveloper 10g.
  
  I need a design to disable/enable the Executive level for each component on a page in adf faces. I can certainly do this one at a time by assigning an expression on the attribute 'disable' el individually. However, that would put the load on each developer to ensure that the appropriate authorization code is implemented. I would avoid this option because it is repetitive, not modular and prone to errors. Can anyone provide some ideas? I was thinking of using javascript to pick up special designated ComponentID and set the property in this way. Also, I heard approaches aspects of Java classes, although I don't know how this would fit into our application. All advice is appreciated.

  Replied to the course on that other thread on how to evaluate EL; see if it's enough for you're going to get. However, the interesting thing... I don't know whether or not the link ADF filter will be performed at this time.

  If the table is added in a facet of the declarative component toolbar, then you can access them in your component code declarative. The table has columns as his child, and each column has UI components such as child components. You can access these UI components and programmatically set the disabled property. All you need to know is the 'trigger' of this deactivation point. Can you try and create a custom declarative component impl class and use the method encodes?

  With a volume of printing only fifty pages per week, a CIS system may be exaggerated.  I print on my Officejet 8600 thereon more and have just replaced the cartridges once in eighteen months.

• 4540 proBook s: need help for components choosing to upgrade.

  Given that I like much this laptop, it has a very good design, good durability and all that, I decided to use it until it breaks up what is unrecoverable. And because I use it for years, I thought to upgrade components. But there is one thing that keeps me, white list.

  Normally I buy a bunch of components and complain about here "WHY IT WORKS NOT HP * T' for each component that would not work, but I decided to ask you what components are in the whitelist so I can them carefully chosen.

  On my laptop, I can pass these things: CPU (plans to go for Core i7-3940XM), RAM (as much as possible), WLAN (any Intel with AC wireless card), SSD storage and use a disc HARD caddy to use the HARD drive. (who uses CD/DVD these days anyway? ) and screen (any IPS 1080 p with finishing screen mate, my current screen does not me, it's terrible.)

  So would anyone recommend me the components are whitlisted for this model? Or tell me how can I find out what components will work? Or if anything at least tell me if someone managed to recover a laptop (this model) via USB flash drive after a BIOS flash failure method, because I'll be playing with the white list, if I can't find the right components.

  Have you thought about what all of these components will cost?

  The top of the processor page seems to be an i5 - 3380M double heart and 8 GB of DDR3 - 1333 is the most memory you can install.

  There will be a white list of wifi and it is the only list of authorization. Compatible adapters are listed in the reference Guide. You must get the Ref. HP version of the map; not just one will not work. HPs are the hardest to try and install a hacked BIOS because there is a BIOS checksum block but go ahead. There is help out there if you look pretty hard.

  The SSD and installing a disc cart hard drive are certainly options. But by the time you match it all this you will be in the range of a new laptop, I think.

  Looks like you are trying to make a reconciliation process? That is you can have implemented BIAPPS (or something custom) and now I want to check your ETL? If this is the case then it's good enough for a test case - we usually start with senior level (actual numbers for each group of companies, for example), then a subset of other different queries for example as per a level in the hierarchy of the org, by position, dates etc.

• Upcoming project receive a diploma-level Captivate... need ideas!

  I am a new user of Captivate in the final class of the Graduate program UMASS Instructional Design... (Advanced Computer - based Learning) and have a project due this Sunday. This project is expected to be a subset of a larger e-Learning project, full which is due at the end of the course.

  I don't know if it's because it's the summer - or I'm simply grilled 3 years of graduate studies - lol - but I can't seem to find a good topic to my module on. I was hoping someone might be able to offer something good. Time is running out!

  As mentioned, it is a mini project due on Sunday, and will eventually be part of a comprehensive final draft expected in a few weeks. I think the project final form on some concept and have 3 goals... so I need a topic and 1 of 3 goals for this Sunday.

• Display of vCenter Ops in an AC on multiple monitors / TV - need ideas

  Is anyone currently displaying dashboards vCenter Ops on TV / monitors in their NOC / Data Center?  I'm looking to display through 4 large TV in our data center and was looking for different ideas.  I was going to use Google Chrome and put mode full-screen, but for some reason any it only allows to put Chrome instances in mode 1 full screen.  Another problem I found is that if you leave Chrome upward and running for weeks afterwards it consumes all of the RAM on the machine and it becomes slow.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

  With regard to the separation of the instances of your browser, why don't not use Firefox profiles? You could split out into separate processes isolated in this way. Here's a great article from LifeHacker on that: Geek to Live: manage multiple Firefox profiles

• Us plan to mobile CPU architecture and need ideas on my approach.

  We currently have 1 cluster of production with 4 ESX host 4.0 running on AMD cpu running. So we do not appreciate with the material (presumed reliability) are considering the switch to Intel.

  I want to just make sure I'm right in this approach. Create another cluster in vCenter new Intel based servers. Each virtual machine power off and migrate to the new cluster. Turn on the prompt.

  Guests should not have any problem change to the correct Intel chipset?

  That sounds right. If you have kept the same architecture you might get away with migration, just need to restart the VM when in the new cluster for the VM sees the new CPUID and gets the instructions available in the new processor, but it is not possible between AMD and Intel, at least not yet. I'm sure it will soon be possible.

  Given that the virtual machines 'hardware' is especially virtualized, your VM is fine for most because the material does not actually change knowledge of the virtual machine. Now, here's capture, the CPU is not truly virtualized, it is essentially transmitted directly to the guest, essentially a hole punched in the layer of virtualization for virtual machine actually accesses the physical CPU. Any modern Windows installation should see the new processor during startup and update itself, which I'm sure that will result in a restart required. Linux in the past had problems with passage of AMD and Intel because the kernel compiled in some specificities of AMD, which was years ago it is quite possible it is more a problem, of course, if you don't have any Linux VM then this isn't a problem for you in any case. But if you don't you pouvez must recompile a new kernel. The only other way you have questions it's if you run software that was compiled specially to take advantage of the exclusive features of AMD. Say you had the source code of the software really really really old which was written poorly and you compile on one of these virtual machines with an AMD processor and software compiled with only the set of features of AMD. But I highly doubt this scenario...

  In conclusion, you should be fine. But first, try creating a clone test and make migration with first. Or test with a VM junk or non-critical virtual machine, or install a new temporary virtual machine and test it with this one.
