  • Weak signal since I moved.

  • Improvement of the reception of the WAP54G - advice needed

Hi, I got hung a pair of units WAP54G, down the bridge of 100 meters from our House, in a holiday home.  One is connected to our router, the second is in the remote region, with a switch, then a third WAP54G distribute the signal in this remote area.

This set works like a charm, BUT as it is a holiday home, we really need to put out of sight, bridge unit in the loft.  For the moment that it is in the direct line of sight to another unit, they are both on the window sills.  It's OK, but we'd like to get the second bridge out of sight to keep people from bothering with it.  I tried to put in the same position as on the windowsill, but in the loft, where he is originally of cladding (no brick etc, just wood and plastic), but he can't see the other device when it is in this position.

Are there branches that I would be able to buy to give a better reception on this bridge? Ideally I'd like a pair of outdoor units I can screw to the wall on the respective buildings and then put a short cable (2-3metres) back inside the units.  This brings me to the second part of the query - boxes have two antennas on the back of them.  When I set up an antenna to gain high only just leave the second OEM stick to the back of the unit, or what? If these antennas be deployed as symmetrical pairs, or anything like that?

I'm really happy for the operation of the system, on the whole, I want just a small extra reception!

Thanks much for any reply and the advice on that.

There are a number of commercially available external antennas. Anything with 7dbi or better should work fine. The connector is referred to as a RP - TNC

Just mount the WAP54G near the antenna in order to reduce the length of antenna cable and mount the external antenna (outdoor) on the map of the barge and your outside.

Get power and Ethernet for the WAP54G should be very simple.

  • Can I need separate videos to allow a user to 'Play All' (from the beginning to the end) and select certain sequences (ceremony, reception which the sequence chosen start and end at the rest of the video and not the sequence, speech etc.)?

Hi - I'm obviously new to yet, but that's what I want to do.

In a wedding video, I want them to be able to:

1 play the movie from start to finish.

    2. Select a sequence (say speech) who plays since the beginning of the sequence to the END of the whole video.

So do I need 1 video for the room, as well as 4 sequences - reception, cake, speech, dance?

    Colin

You can use separate videos or a single video. The only video is easier for your desired navigation. You will find more people asking how to get the 'chapter' or the video scene at the rear to a menu when it ends and also have a game all. So ignore the advice on those.

    Simple video:

Your single video goes on a timeline. 'Play all' is a button in the timeline, and the timeline has an end action of "last menu."

Menu of chapter has 4 buttons (plus a fifth to return to the main menu), going to each respective chapter marker. There is no action to end on chapter markers, so when a new chapter is reached, he continues to play as the piece all the.

    Several videos:

Each video goes on his own script. The end of video action a timeline is timeline two video etc. Play all is a button that goes to the timeline one. The chapter menu also has a button go to chapter one, and it works identical to the play all. Each of the chapter buttons go to their respective chapter deadlines.

Still may have some problems with a certain time lag, but I do not think that they affect either of these workflows. Don't rely on the preview again; burn a test disc and play on a DVD player.

  • Receptive Drop Down Menu Help Needed

I'm working on a reagent drop-down list of an example that I found online.  I don't know much about css or html, but I don't have much the way I want, but need a little help to reach my goal of end of market.

The code below is what I have so far.  Colored and flat background is replaced by gradient background images, but for now I'm just using colors to show what I'm trying to achieve.

I have two questions, that I can't understand.

    1. How can I get a bottom border on my submenus without the borders of the middle (do not know how to describe the) which are made by the top border?  If I apply a border of 1px solid black border environment become 2px.
    2. Full screen, I want the bottom nav to be blue so that it matches the background of the menu bar when the screen becomes smaller.  However, when I try to apply the color blue, then all submenu items get on the blue background of the smaller size of the screen and I want only the menu bar above to be blue on smaller screens.  Also, is there a way to apply the Burger to the Menu bar on smaller screens?

Hope that makes sense and thanks for any help!

  • Receptive need help HTML e-mail

    Hello world

Let's start first of all, Im a graphic designer by trade, if some of my questions could be really simple and my working method can be terrible...

That being said, here is my question. IM in the middle of the reorganization of the company I work for the emails and decided that since im doing, I want to make it sensitive to the size of the screen etc.

However, I create in Indesgn, slice the PDF in Photoshop, then add the link and text elements in dreamweaver... This worked perfectly for me in the past, but now when I try to add any code or CSS I find what should I in aid of the theory me with my problems I cant just seem to get my drawings of trees to screen...

    Can you help me?

Like I said, im really not a pro at it and work at it from a point of view of Visual designers...

    Thank you

    Chris

I'm sorry to say, and in the interest of you saving time and headache, I won't have to embellish it...

Pretty much everything you do is "the worst possible way to do" when it comes to html email.

I think that the best plan of attack for you would be to find and use a model available with services such as www.constantcontact.com or www.icontact.com, so you can just drop text and images of documents pre-built "will work in a large number of email clients.

If you do not want to learn how to code html emails, he must come to terms with the fact that they are stuck in about 1990 with regard to 'best practices' to go and a lot of what you can do with the sites Web just work well for them.

You need to get started in Dreamweaver with a provision of the base table, then add your images from photoshop (the HTML created by PS is notoriously rigid and difficult to add/change anything in). The problem is not all email clients are similar and very few of them make it as a browser. There are some that will show all the images, there are some who will remove the css or all thesection of an html document and others that reproduces faithfully a modern browser.

Here is a good article by an other posters here (Nancy O): Alt-Web, HTML emails and newsletters Articles

  • Reception of sms on my Skype number.

    Hello

I have a Skype number. I need to get SMS messages to any mobile number.

Is there any improvement in the reception of sms (SMS) to any mobile in the future?

    Thank you

Skype numbers are numbers of landline so no SMS.

In the latest version of Windows 10 if someone sent you a text it came in the mail and Skype IM app (they also came in Skype) and if you have a Windows phone if you get a text it appears on your PC via Cortana and you can answer from there (you can also send SMS using Cortana).

If the idea is there, but Skype/MS has turned on the SMS and IM when the update of the anniversary is out.

As far as I know, it is that Skype will manage SMS from your mobile phone at a certain time in the future, but how far it is, suggests.

But as I said if you have a Windows phone and the PC using the latest version of 10 and Cortana is running, you can receive and send texts from your PC with ease

  • question aunetsend/reception

Could someone give me some advice how to achieve the following objectives please...

I intend to mix, record and stream live to air, shows in our radio station.
    91.1 tribefm...  :-)
from the garden to the workshop. using logic.

We currently achieve this using 2 XLR cables for about 50 metres.

I want to use logic to mix instruments then send via ethernet
a stereo mix to our mini mac studio for recording (audio hijack)
    and streaming (stream of material).
recording and banners are already in place.

Can I use auNetSend/reception to do this?

Would need a copy of logic running on the receiving end?

or y at - it another application that can use auNetReceive?

I plug it into the mac mini or router?

    What else I've not considered?

    any help appreciated

    see you soon

    geofffox

    Here's a thought...

You can use airserver (link below) that would allow the mac inside your studio to be recognized as a camera receiver airplay.

So, in logic in the garden - defined as output the Airplay device who's now the Mac in your studio that is running server of air. Use Audio Hijack as before to redirect to your streamer.

Can be wired ethernet or WIFI.

  • RAZR V bad reception

My new RAZR V has received significantly worse than my old phone Sanyo700, using the same service provider. I need to get better reception. Motorola made a reminder for this phone? Is there currently a booster which is compatible? How often exactly the RAZR V use?

I found a couple of signal boost apps google play, they probably won't help, but if not, I also found a booster of Wilson for $400.

  • Need help with my Toshiba remote control and receiver for Qosmio G30 161

    Hi all

I have a Toshiba Qosmio G30-161 and with her, I have a Toshiba remote and a Toshiba remote control receiver, this is the first time that I used it (tried of that is), my problem is that the remote control does not work on the computer, when I press keys on the computer program does nothing.

I installed four new AA batteries and the remote works fine its send signals to the receiver, the receiver of the remote control as a red light detection is displayed whenever you press a button and with regard to the computer, I checked the drivers and the USB is off the hook as a remote E-reception receiver which I checked with Toshiba and which is correct , so overall the remote control works, the receiver is picking up signals and the pc has detected the receiver but nothing works, I have installed remote control manager but was still nothing done to. I talked about support and assistance of Toshiba, and the end result is that they are not sure what is the problem. Can anyone help I need the remote control for the slide shows for clients like ja? m a photographer.

Also to confirm that I'm under addition of Windows XP MCE.

    Anthony Worlock

    Hello

This remote will work, if you use it without any special drivers and special software, only in the Media Center.

But if you install stuff like [WinLirc | winlirc.sourceforge .net] then you should be able to get some functions for your presentation.

Please try this tool and check if it works.

By the way: if I were you I would first read the manual and the WinLirc FAQ before you start because it s a little bit tricky to manage the program. :) (Too many parameters: D)

    Welcome them

  • Need help for reading in parallel on the same interface and writing XNET

Hello. I need help to configure CAN interface to write and read from the same interface.

    I use NI PXI-8513/2. I use CAN1 as interface.

My had TO send status messages CAN every 100ms. I have to read in order to return akntoowlege to keep DUT CAN interface happy and not make mistakes.

So, I want to open Strim Session and readall frames in the loop. At the same time, I need to be able to write in a frame HAD at the time...

I only need to read one picture at a time too, but since I know the ID, I can pull it from the stream.

What I'm confusing all is how to put in place the same CAN1 interface to be able to write and read in parallel.

I think I would get errors that interface is already in use.

Since I'm new to CAN, I was read and write only when necessary. But, sometimes I was getting errors on my messages. Sometimes I get message, sometimes miss me. But, when I run CAN test criminal as sniffer he sends and written every time. I was told it's because it recognizes all messages.

I opened to suggestions of how best to implement the interface.

I guess I can use CAN2 and separator to work around this problem, but I would use an interface if possible.

    Thank you

    Hi Rus,

The XNET hadrware takes care of most of the low level of detials for you. The reading and writing of the circuits are both connected to the bus at any time. When you write to the hardware it will try to put a frame on the bus at the first opportunity he can. If the frame loses arbitration material re - will attempt to send the frame up is successful. Reception equipment monitor activity on the bus, regardless of what it conveys. The material received will usually throw a framework that was sent by communication equipment, but there is an Echo property pass to circumvent this behavior too.

Take a look at the example of the expedition: MAY-> NI - XNET-> Sessions-> multiple Sessions Intro-> CAN even exit entry framework Port unique Point.vi. Keep in mind that this example you will need to use a second CAN interface to recognize frames, it transmits. I would recoment against the example CAN output Frame Single Point which would mimic your ECU if you choose a type of cyclic frame running this example.

  • Strength of reception

Is it just me or others have found that the strength of receive (bars) is lower than with the Atrix to a previous phone?

Seems fair that I do not see the same number of bars I've seen with my previous POS phone (Blackjack II) at the same place (my house).

On the same subject, can anyone offer any opinions about microcell units or other devices to improve reception, not only in my house, but elsewhere.

It could be that your other phone were artificially high bars.

The only true measure is dbm - a numeric value that you would need to check each phone in the same place Apple returned and made their bar higher when people complained - they claimed that the bars were set at low, but she never actually changed the strength of reception - just perception of peoples.
