Need recommendation for 70 "- 80" monitors for C-series

I'm about to install a C90 system with large screens.  I would go with LCD 80 "rather than professional monitors. My main reason is that current monitors 80 "on the market are really deep/bulky and are much more expensive (like Sharp PN-E802 or NEC V801).   I would prefer something slimmer for example one of the newest models Sharp LC-80.

I was wondering if anyone has had success with any series 70 "or 80 '' televisions on a C-series, where everything worked well, particularly the CEC function (wake / sleep of the CODEC) with necessary is for me.

(The installation program will be a C90, 7 '' touch Cisco, 2 large displays, microphones, ceiling speakers ceiling)

Thank you!

Eric

We used two Sharp Aquos 70 "in most of our meeting rooms for the past 12 months or so, CEC support over HDMI only. http://www.sharp.NET.au/product-catalogue/products/LC70LE735X/

We have about 20 of them deployed around the square and have had no problems so far.

  • Need recommendation for laptop - for video editing

I'm trying to looking for a new laptop and need recommendations based on how I use the laptop.  I produce videos and mainly use the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Encore DVD.  I also use other software such as AutoFX PGE7.0 of photo editing.

I currently have a HP Pavilion which is about 5 years old.  This office has the following specifications:

    HP Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE, SP3 32-bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600

I believe that with a new laptop, I was able to create my videos more efficiently.  If you have any input as to what I need in a laptop for my specific purpose, please let me know.

    Thank you very much

    Angela

old computer: HP Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE, SP3 32-bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600
    new computer: HPE-180 t, Windows 7 Pro (64 bit), Nvidia GeForce GT 220, Intel Core i7 - 930 quad-core CPU @ 2.80 GHz, 8 GB of RAM

For what you are doing you need all the horsepower you can gather. You have not specified a budget and with what you're trying to do, I don't think that it would be useful to think of anything less than a thousand dollars. You need at least 4 GB of memory and preferably 8. You need a 64 bit version of Windows 7. You need a quad core or i7 processor. Regarding the size of the screen, it's a matter of personal choice, but I don't see how you can get in with less than a 15-inch screen. In respect to the HP products you can consider the urge again, but the problem is the lack of an internal optical drive (CD/DVD type).

HP is running a special offer on the dv6t Quad model with an i7 processor, $ 999 with a free upgrade to 4 GB of RAM and a concert full of video memory. While your P4 3.2 was the killer at a time where it was released, the dv6t Quad run rings around her, particularly in Photoshop. Make sure that you use a recent version of Photoshop with 64-bit and support multi-core. Also be sure to get the 7200 RPM hard drive, because it makes a big difference in video editing.

    Good luck and enjoy.

  • I need recommendations for a small 32-bit VM for vMotion tests.

After using a combination of build the ultimate vSphere Lab of Sammy Bogaert and guides http://derek858.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/vmware-vcenter-51-installation-part-1.html of Derek Seaman, I now fully nested operation 5.1 ready for testing laboratory.

I now need a 32-bit VM for test vMotion with and I was wondering could someone recommend something they use? Maybe a pre-constructed unit?

    Thank you

Pre-built devices are easy and quick, but also sometimes use a virtual machine powered with no operating system on it as well. Gets not much faster than that.

  • Need recommendation for installation recovery site

    Hi all

    1. What are the basic things that we must analyze it before we recommend the company to go to oracle Dataguard for DR configuration?

    2. do you know any technology that will replicate the schema of a data center [data one] to another data center [secondary database or replication]?

    3. What are the different option to configure the disaster recovery plan at the schema level?

    Thank you

    Hello again;

I use Oracle Streams, but it is certainly an option:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/information-management/streams-FOV-11g-134280.PDF

It also has its own forum (you probably know that)

    Water courses

Oracle Streams comes with more than 7000 data dictionary views, and DBMS built-ins so my main concern is the complexity and moving parts. Flow also includes guard data items, for example to capture downstream. If I had to choose between streams
and Data Guard, I'd go with Data Guard, as his most popular (view) and thus better supported.

The last time I checked GoldenGate needed a license. If you need money. I also believe that the options for the host operating systems are less than the other two options.

My understanding is that you have to learn a new language with a boatload of new keywords. That said, Yes, it could be an option. It has a forum here somewhere. But I don't use it either.

In any case, it looks like you ask all the right questions. Good luck with your project.

  • Need recommendation for SE P6T/i7 920 combo please...

    Hi all

OK, I finally decided to get the motherboard ATX 58 1366 ASUS P6T SE X and the Core i7 920 cpu.

After reading the guide struggling, I thought I knew what I had to get to memory until I read the speed of the FSB on the motherboard. It has a FSB of up to 6400 MT/s. Which leaves me clueless as to which memmory to get. According to the ASUS page to the mb, it may take DDR3-2000 (O.C.) * / 1866 (O.C.) * / 1800 (O.C.) * / 1600 (O.C.) / 1333/1066 non - ECC, UN buffer.

I would appreciate a little help.

Here is the link to the page of the motherboard: http://USA.ASUS.com/product.aspx?P_ID=t4yhK6y9W9o7iQ9E

    I'm assuming from NewEgg, it;

    PC3-10600-7-7-7-24 • unbuffered NON - ECC DDR3-1333 • would be a good choice

    or the

    PC3-14000 • • unbuffered NON-ECC • DDR3-1800 would be the fastest choice?

    .

What Jim means, is that you prefer to use a hexagonal kit or two tri-kits for your memory.

If you do not overclock, 1066 memory is what you want, if you can consider some overclocking in the future, memory at 1333. The use of 1600 requires a heavy overclocking to be used at full capacity. All memory will be throttle up to the frequency of your system, even very expensive DDR3-2000.

  • Need recommendation for adapter for X230t with accumulator

Does anyone have experience with the accumulator to charge while it is attached to the x 230 tablet?  Think I remember reading somewhere that the 65w AC adapter that comes with the thinkpad is not enough to charge two batteries and power the system at the same time.  I wonder if the 90w power supply is sufficient or if I need to go all the way to the provision of powr 135w.

    Thank you

It has HDMI on the left hand side port and a VGA port next to the vent. My suggestion: buy a monitor that has two ports. Depending on your budget and your favorite brand, the following link shows a few of them:

  • What is the display screen color recommended for fine arts

I need to send pictures of my works so, what color recommended for my screen?

Each monitor will interpret according to local settings of RGB. LCD monitor displays colors in this way, by combination of red, green and blue LEDS (light emitting diodes). It is an additive color model in which Red, green and blue are added together in various ways to reproduce a wide range of colors.

You have no control over other peoples screens settings

Make it look good on your is the best you can do.

If you want to print CMYK is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, which you have control of the finished product.

  • Recommendations for a beginner building a gaming pc?

I'm looking to build my own gaming pc and have selected the following:

Case: iBUYPOWER ARC 647 Gaming Chassis

Card mother + processor: processor Intel Core i7-3770 (4 x 3.40 GHz), BYO Bundle

    RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws

Hard drive: 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 2 GB GDDR3 PCI Express 3.0 graphics card

Hard drive: 24 X DVD +/-RW DL Optical Drive

operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit Edition

First question: this combination of work?

    Second question: the recommendations/changes?

Third and last question: do I need anything else? (I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers).

    Any help is appreciated

Unless money is no object, and you want a profitable gaming PC, do not think that 'CPU' and a lot of RAM fantasy, think "video card" since it is the top priority for the games. Also think ahead and think of versatility of the platform because at some point (often with players), you'll want to change this or that.

Think that bang for your buck!... and I don't see it in the choice of your combo and map.

A mid range CPU price is a lot. Spend over $ $300 on an i7 CPU is a waste of money, one player, unless you have the high-end card to go with it. Get the best card you can afford and a high quality POWER supply (corsair is very good) remarks 650w as him more you'll need, unless for muti-screens and maps high power binoculars.

Save money on the ram 1333 standard, you will not see any difference in ram fancy. Not more than 8GB will be lost and never used, regardless of the game or the PC software you can use. I never needed more than 8 GB (for the most part not more than 4/6 GB) and outside of the game, I use a lot of ram heavy Photoshop).

Personally I would go an AMD platform any day for the game, because you'll save a bundle a decent multi-socket AM3 / AM2 + / AM2 board and CPU AMD Phenom x 4 around 2.8 to 3.4 GHz combo, or if you want to spend a little more, the new FX range CPU a combo of Council AM3 +.  You will be miles ahead $ wise, now and in the future.

Try this for the price and performance of killer game next to a platform of intel similar price:

CPU: AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
    Motherboard: Gigabyte a 970-DS3P (socket AM3 +)
    Card: ASUS Radeon R9 270 X
    RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1333 mhz (2x4gb)
PSU: Corsair CS650M (try to get a box without power SUPPLY, because they usually poor quality PSUS in comparison).

Combining perfectly and for its money!

Of course any that in the intensive use of the PC multi-threading (video editing), and do not play, I'd go intel Sandy Bridge every time if I could afford it.
