  Hi guys!

  Thanks to Johnsold, Helmut O'Brian and Jcarmody, who helped me through a string function complicated (for me, the noob of LV), I got away with my project and I'm very close to its end.

  As I've described it here I wanted to explore an array of words combined with-, i.e. C1 - C10. Help, when I arrived, I was able to do. I also learned a few things and was able to do the following:

  I was also able to combine these two functions

  Now, back to my problem.

  Until now, it was just a 1 d array that I worked with. In fact, it's a 2D array, I read a. CSV file:

  

  As you can see there are a few places where things is combined with either - or by commas. I need to widen the first column as described above and as resolved in the thread I mentioned. Fact! No problem. I extracted the first column in table 1 d. Then expand it. Now, I need to replace in the original array and also expand all.

  Then I only need to copy the position of the R6 line and paste it in the empty fields:

  

  I enclose below two screws. Start by opening the main.vi. Then copy.vi. I tried to describe the problem here too. You can see what I've accomplished and what is missing.

  Tasks:

  1. replace the column expanded in the original array and expand all.

  2 copy the needed lines.

  In the main.vi, I do the 1 d expansion, but I have the problem with the expansion of table 2D. In copy.vi, I managed to copy the lines. If this part is done.

  Basically, I need some advice on enlargement that I do and how do I get the 2D table also expanded. Because I have not much experience, I feel more comfortable working with 1 d arrays. But I can't seem to get any further with this 1 d-> expansion 2D.

  I also really can't seem to find a smart way to implement my function of copy-line-in the main.vi.

  P.S the joint screws are manufactured in LV2010.

  Fortunately, I can attend some courses of basic home OR here in Norway, but so far, I'm still learning and I think that sometimes, I try to do things that are way out of my League

• We can do a field cannot be changed using the field Validation?

  Is it possible if we could do a non editable field using the field validation? We cannot do it in read-only because we have a code that uses the selector report to update these fields. Is there a way we can put a posting on the ground that it would throw an error message when a user tries to change this field?

  Of course, we can use the validation for this:

  Add this to the field Validation:

  PRE ('') = IfNull (FieldValue (''), "XXX")

  Replace FieldName with the actual field name.

• Using the field of comments on the files in the Finder

  If you select a file in the Finder and use the "Get Info" feature, there is an editable field called 'comments '. If all the data is inserted in this field, that data remains with the file even if you move the file to another source? For example, if I am looking at a JPG file in the Finder, and I add a brief description of the subjects or the location of the image in the comments field, will be those who comments always be there if I burned the file on a CD, send the file to someone on a Windows computer, copy it to a USB etc. ?

  My goal for this question is the following. I have thousands of family photos, some dating back over 100 years, I'm going to be scanning in the near future. Once scanned, I'll be sitting with my mother and aunts to see these photos/files so that we can determine who is in these pictures, where they were taken, when they were taken, etc. I don't have most of the information I had at the moment I'm digitizing them, but I want an easy way to fix this information to each picture I revisit it with my mom and aunts. I also want to be able to eventually distribute digital files of other members of the family, but most of them do not use Mac (their loss, I know... LOL!). I don't think that using Photos for Mac, Picasa or a third-party to sort application and label will be an option. 30 years from now, who knows what technology will be available, so I want to keep the process as simple and generic as possible, so they can still access it in the future.

  Long history, response to shore. Yes, the comments will stick. BUT: there is no guarantee that 30 years from now it will be a BONE that is able to read them.

• RV180 need some advice/Suggestion regarding the rules of access and Services

  Hi, I expected to get some advice or suggestion with a RV180 question.  I have a cable modem connection that connects to my port WAN RV180 and we have a single static IP address on the WAN port and everything works great.  We have an internal Exchange Server, so we have a few inbound rules access allowing for ports 443 and 25.  It all works.

  This is the question that I encounter.  We have now another service internal now needs outside inside access on port 443 (https), but I already have this configuration on the router for Exchange and when I have both sense, of course, it won't work correctly because the router just takes the first rules of access and use the one that works very well for traffic Exchange , but not my other service.

  Is there another way to get this job where I can have two internal services on port 443 and the router can forward traffic appropriate to each of them since my first IP? (it doesn't really matter if I had two IP addresses because it always hits the same access list for internal services)

  Hi, yours is a general networking, not specific to RV180 problem.

  As you have only one IP public (on the WAN port), you only have a single port 443, you can support two services outside-to-inside.

  The cheapest solution is one of the services to another port, if the service permits.

  The most expensive solution is to have public IP addresses.

  I did it just now and I used the UGLY way. I had the user to enter in their value, and then on the calculation and the field trip, I changed the value of * asterisks. That sucked because I had to save the entry in an additional variable and it just made my code a big mess. I know there is a better way to do it via script format or typo (I hope!), but I can't wrap my head around how things work. Can someone please help me understand?

  I need to take the value typed into a field and simply hide to hide the value of any person who could open the form later.

  I need help with a form that has multiple pages.  I have some areas I are duplicated in my document.  How I got these fields auto fill throughout the form/paper? For example, I'm going to fname lname, address, telephone, etc... How can I get these fields automatically on the other pages of the form?  Is this possible?  Any suggestions are welcome.

  If it's just a fill operation then make sure the fields have the same name. Then set the binding to the global level and all the fields with the same name will get the same value.

  CDL 1 & 2 If you work on AC you should removed the battery... But I read it is better for the battery is discharged to 40-50% and then removed... and if you do not use the battery for the longer period, leave is too loaded in 40-50%... There is another opinion - leaving the battery fully charged, but in the two most important is - battery must not be discharged to leave...

  Have you looked at Scrivener (http://literatureandlatte.com/).  It is designed specifically for writers of all kinds of materials.  It is useful for the Organization, research and multimedia, shaped for different destinations and hundreds of models available.  It is generally considered to be the tool first word forge to the authors.

  He has a bit of a learning curve, but it comes with a tutorial and a number of videos.  There are a lot of 3rd party videos and several courses on Udemy and elsewhere.  Once you use it, however, it is unlikely that you will return in a word processor or a publishing tool (which have two very different objectives).  There is a community of support for users, too.

• OfficeJet J4680 fax failure - need some tips from a pro!

  I have an OfficeJet J4680 and has a few problems. I send a daily fax for a number, and sometimes it sounds as if she's going through, but then the note of fax has failed is displayed. The Party on the other line said fax machine NOT ring although I distintly hear 5 rings, and then a noise indicating it connected.

  Also, sometimes there is a fast busy signal and of course, this does not work as well. I am told that I am the only person having problems sending their number. And some days, it works perfectly.

  This looks like a problem on their side. Use the Service of fax HP Test to test your Fax to send & receive faxes.

  Assuming that your keyboard works during boot (and it should; trying to tap F8 to access Advanced Boot Options Menu), probably the simplest method would be to make a Hiren Boot CD, boot from it and use one of the many included tools.  I have not experienced with your particular situation, so I can not tell you what tools will be or will work for you, but my guess is that USBDeView might work.

  Thanks for all the help. Seems that there is no easy 'reset' for bad hardware configurations.

  However, I dug to the bottom of my Lac 'tech' and found a USB-to-PS/2 adapter, which allowed me to use the USB mouse into the PS/2 port and reactivate my USB ports.

  All is well now.

  Another way is similar to what you posted:

  I suspect that the first way (using ROW_NUMBER) will be faster.
  In addition, the ROW_NUMBER approach is guaranteed to return only 1 line by Department using the approach of GROUP BY, if there is a link on join_date and end_date then it will return all the contenders in this Department. using ROW_NUMBER, it is easy to add expressions to tie-break as much as you want, and, if there is still a tie, it will be arbirarily pick, one lines involved in the tie as #1.
