  I am currently using a 120 GB SATA HDD and 2x512mb ddr2 667 Mhz (out of the box state).

  AFAIK the 667 Mhz Rams should be clocked at 533 Mhz
  But you can upgrade it to 4 GB of RAM (2 x 2 GB)
