  Hello

  Does anyone know if toshiba will release x 64 compatible tools. I need this because I am planing to buy vista to x 64.

  As far as I know Toshiba will release the 32-bit driver only. 64-bit are not available.
  In the past, Toshiba has not released the 64-bit XP drivers and I think that it s even with the Vista drivers.

  Just FYI: Toshiba does not deliver laptops with Vista 64-bit ;)

  I'm having issues (media buttons no longer work) with the package of added value of Toshiba (TAVP) on my Portege M800.
  I want to update, but I can't do it before removing the old version of the TAVP. When I try to install the new TAVP, I get an error message saying that I need to remove the old version first.

  Problem is, I can't find the TAVP on my "Add/Remove Programs" list The internet said it should be on the list, but it is not. The programs are on my computer.

  I use Vista and Win7 long on two laptops from Toshiba. On two of them Toshiba Value added Package is listed in the control panel > programs and features and then you can start to uninstall option.

  What laptop you have exactly?
  Where did you downloaded package of added value?
  The operating system that is pre-installed in Toshiba or your own installation of Windows that you are using?
  Try you added value package update or new installation?

  In my opinion, you should check your antivirus or firewall. I think that something is blocking the installation.

  Satellite A300 PSAG0S unknown to me, but on the European page, I created a similar model, PSAG0E. But the problem is that there is no drivers for Vista 64-bit, so I tried a Windows 7 64 bit and here I could found the more pilots.   As already suggested in this forum the Vista 64 bit drivers are not available for all Toshiba laptops.
  What you can do is to search on different websites for these drivers for Vista 64-bit.
  For example, you can search on the page Intel or Realtek.

  Chip manufacturers should provide 64-bit drivers too.
