Need to reinstall Acrobat Pro 9 - downloadable? How?

I run Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on a Mac with OS 10. What auto updates arrive, my attempts to install are rejected; a pop-up message indicates that the content of the original software won't allow the update and reinstall is required. I have the serial number; is it possible to use it to get a download to reinstall? If so, how? Thank you.

Unfortunately there is no download of Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac to prodesigntools.com. Do not know if a trial version for Mac has been already made available.
