NEF Raw D500 XQD card not supported

Can someone help me with this problem? When I try to import Raw files from my Nikon D500 XQD card in Lightroom 5 or 6 (updated yesterday) I get the message "this file format is not supported by Lightroom. When I try to check the updates that Lightroom tells me that my computer is not connected to the Internet, which is bullshit. Does anyone else have problems with Lightroom and Raw of Nikon XQD files. Nikon have been absolutely no help whatsoever.

Please confirm the exact version of Lightroom, you're running.

The current version is 6.6.1.

The D500 has been initially supported by Lightroom 6.5

When I try to access my 64 GB wireless connect drive, using the application, I get an error red at the top that says "SD Card not supported." It gives me the opportunity to reach a "refresh" - like icon. When I do, it says "SD card dead." It does not allow me to change the settings of the player, nor can I see the contents.

If I try to connect the disk with my computer, the web browser simply says that it cannot connect to the page.

When the player is connected to my computer, I can read and write files perfectly fine, it immediately mounts and storage information is displayed in the window management drives in Windows. It is just like normal, like a flash drive.

The wireless network is displayed correctly, that my computer and the phone are able to connect to the wireless network. However, it is not able to read/write/access to the drive.

The App also shows that the battery level. It won't show the phone storage space, or it will show the space remaining on the disk.

Edit: It also just started something really weird. After being plugged into my computer for about 10 minutes, the light starts to Flash quickly and would act as if it was to be disconnect and reconnect the computer for about 15 seconds. And then he stopped. After 10 seconds, he started to do it again. 15 seconds later, it returned to normal and haven't done anything since.

It had exactly the same problem happen to me and I was about to give up, but finally had a breakthrough, so I made an account just for this post.

Format the Stick wireless by using the tool "HPUSBDisk":

    http://filehippo.com/download_hp_usb_disk_storage_format_tool/

Just choose your player, select the "Fat32" filesystem type, uncheck the "quick format" box and click on 'start '.

Allow the formatting process complete and you should be in business.

I tried many other methods, including those proposed in the forums and SanDisk KB and it's the only thing that actually worked.

It is worth noting that when this problem occurred in the first place for me, it's following a format of the WirelessStick (16 GB) on a Windows PC. Following this format, I got exactly the problem that the OP has been/is seen.

  • Question Nikon D5 Camera Raw Lexar XQD Card

I received my new Nikon D5 last week and this weekend, April 3 & 4, 2016, I spent Saturday and Sunday morning at our local Raptor photograph birds... When I got home on Saturday, I downloaded a new Lexar 64 GB card XQD photos. The photographs downloaded fast... but when I went to see the photos in Photoshop, I was not able to view or work with them...  I had this problem when I bought a new Nikon D4s in 2014. I tried to find out if I got all dates, and Adobe said yes I had all the dates... I went to see if Nikon D5 was on the list of cameras supported in Adobe camera raw... The Nikon D5 was shown as being supported... Have a solution... Thanks in advance...

    Hi FREDERICVOSS,

Check the version of Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop, then make sure it's 9.5, as the camera Nikon D5 is supported in this version of Camera Raw.

  • BIOS error 104: network card not supported after the update of the bios, HP G60

Recently, my hard drive has begun to fail. I bought a new drive, installed a Windows 7 ISO on a flash drive, installed etc. I have a HP G60-237NR. I have reinstall everything, and then I went to the page of the drivers for my laptop. I started to install stuff, at that time there I was bored so I'd sort of from the bottom to the top if this order of the questions, I can give more details on that if I need to. I downloaded the BIOS update, because I thought that "good, he he listed for my computer, I have no doubt it needs to be updated since my laptop like 6 years. Flashed the BIOS, my computer shut down and restart didn't like I thought he was supposed to. I turned on and well 'device 104 - unsupported of detected wireless network. System stopped. Remove device and restart. "I tried to find out what to do, which told me to remove the network adapter, the bios downgrade, plug it back and you're good. Well, I unplugged my network card and the snap-snap-in two sons who attaches and restarted, he did all the stuff. I got the same error. EDIT: I meant I plugged my network back in, but still got the error. Where I had the clichés about evil, I passed the clichés and double checked the connections maps, but still nothing. Everything I found said that should have worked, I'm on the same version of the BIOS, I started with that, but it does not recognize my network card. What am I doing here? Please help, thanks.

    Hello

When you have the outside wireless card, you have the error?

If this isn't the case, then you can get necessary to replace the wireless adapter. I would not be able to explain how, but something may have cause to fail.

You can find maps of replacement of support on page 16 Chapter 4 of the Guide Service and Maintenance for your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

  • Question of GFX - card not supported. Workaround solution? Another question?

Hello. Forgive this winding post. I have a few things to get off my chest and I don't know which apply here. So please bear with me if you are able. Thank you

I have a 3.4 ghz core I5 4 and 10 gig RAM processor. I am editing images 25 fps HD in first Pro CC and make effects of Film Grain with Reg universe giant and simple Color Correction using, for the most part, the three-way color corrector and the masking tool. Nothing, I would consider things taxation system, but maybe I'm wrong. I also try to use AE to help speed up things and the hue of the sky etc...

I have a card Geforce 460 GFX installed - which is a bit old, I know, but I was hoping to get a GPU Adobe's push, as I understand in CC they provided more support for unofficial cards.

But "Mercury Playback Software only" is the only option available to me.

I got a graphics card Radeon before, what CC first really seems to support some - but I swapped out for a Nvidia card, because there are other parasites and poor performance - more it made the film (which is compressed. MOV) in a garish way - which has since been resolved with the deletion of the map. In addition, AE needs Nvidia for these features and I assumed that Adobe would like that Nvidia is better generally than until recently, they have only supported for this brand. However, as stated, the transition to the Nvidia GTX 460 has led to send me software only playback, althouh is better than it is with the card Radeon, sometimes jerky and lag. And lasts longer that perhaps it should. Although I put in settings of high quality reading - which I changed before I realized that I was running without GPU support!

Then... I guess I don't have it optimized for CPU mode and there are a few things I can try if the card does not work, I'm sure. But... I would REALLY like to know if there is a way I can use this card?

I also posted in After Effects forum, AE is also extremely slow to play my 25 fps HD images. I mentioned what I read some messages in what GPU acceleration is not a must for AE – in which case maybe my problems with that here's something else? But I would really like to color correction in AE! I guess I am amazed at the GPU how last minute seem to be with this software - while I am more accustomed to the game where you can get performance with an old card, and even if she was a little you just launch the game settings below.

It is the fact it has compressed footage may be to blame in some way?

Although I felt my way around the first just edit a music video I'm still very new to this software - and particularly the AE - so please forgive me. It is difficult to teach myself when I can't go beyond these obvious lol

Thank you very much for your help,

    Tony

Hi there John. Forgive me if I am out of the little relevant in your link, but this page seems not to talk at all, the CC has been written in 2011.

However, I found a few tips really useful - and rather obvious good sense - on the link below.

Adobe Premiere CC CC 2014 CS6 CS5.5 CS5 video cards with CUDA Mercury Playback unlock MPE Hack David Knarr

This page seems to offer a solution for limited Platinum support first offer, by means of a hack... but having read that CC 2014 should provide much more support for a complete mix of GPU I decided to try first a solution much simpler than the site also gives to think... and it worked!

I updated my video driver NVIDIA directly instead of from the MANUFACTURER's website! I had always assumed you had to go to the manufacturer but, of course, Nvidia are constantly updating the drivers and manufacturers don't bother view their sites! So I was actually extremely outdated drivers installed. I can't believe that this maxim based evaded me so long. He explains back issues I've had as well. But after installing Nvidia CC now allows me to use the mercury with GPU. I am therefore very happy atm.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Other video cards not supported will work with premiere pro?

I have some older Dell Optiplex 755 and 760's, which have little space for graphics cards.  What I find that was or I can afford do not appear on the list of the first Pro of most system requirements supported cards.  Others will work?

Yes, any card $30 video work. For effective material MPE you need a card at least 1 GB DDR5 VRAM nVidia.

  • I use lightroom 5. Cannot import my pictures NEF (raw Nikon d5300). Is there a solution?

I use lightroom 5. my photos NEF (raw nokon d5300 can NOT BE IMPORTED.IS there is SOLUTION)

    Hi Dominique,.

Please make sure that your Lightroom is updated as shown above.

Also, make sure that you do not use Nikon transfer as there have been reported problems that nikon transfer corrupts the raw files. Try to copy and paste files from a memory card to local disk and then try to import the files into Lightroom.

Please post on the Adobe Forums.

  • 21 "screen does not support screen resolution by default/Vanilla in some games start

    Hi DikembeMutombo,

As is the case with only the Steam platform, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the game. It could be the problem related to display card not supported by the resolution of the game.

You can try to adjust the resolution of the game and the match with the resolution of the screen.

  • videcard not supported

video card not supported... had no problem before now... has received two replies... all two useful... Thank you

one method is to see if a system restore can restore your system to a functional State before that problem.

Another method is to check a second time Web site video cards for new updates or patches to download and install.   If nothing else, re - install everything the manufacturer has on its website.

  • ? How to import NEF RAW photo frames from XQD for LR - 6 cards?

Just bought the last Nikon D500 using two XQD & SD cards. Still using old LR-4, wish to update LR-6.

However discussions with Nikon technicians explain why my LR-4 cannot read XQD NEF Raw files. Apparently LR does not currently recognize new XQD NEF Raw files. Even the current LR-5 is only on Camera Raw 8.6 & LR-6 will not no more until he is with I think that Camera Raw 8.7? (required for Raw XQD files)!

So I'm only using the cameras SD card slot for now.

He explained to me the only option right now is to download the software Nikon Capture NXD (I) import the new XQD map Raw images *, then convert it to Tiff files, then can import into my LR-4 for work and then produce best JPGs of.

    (to try, but looks ok).

    * (Get your hands on a card XQD reader who is "in stock", it's another delay, however issue a separate).

(if it is true that the current LR - 6 cannot read Raw XQD files)

My Question is, what LR6 will become Camera Raw 8.7 or what ever C - Raw version is needed to do?

Of course, I do not wish to move to LR - 6, until this was done.  Grateful if someone knows the answer.

    1. The Camera Raw plugin is only used by Photoshop and Bridge
    2. Lightroom does not use the Camera Raw plugin. Camera Raw support is integrated into the Lightroom program code. To update or update of Lightroom and camera new support is included.
    3. Lightroom 6.5 is the latest version of Lightroom.
    4. XQD replaces the CompactFlash card. If your operating system recognizes XQD cards, Lightroom can read the data about them.
    5. The D500 was first supported in Lightroom 6.5. If you are using a version prior to version 6.5 (4.0, 5.0, 6.0), then you will not be able to open the Raw files. You must run 6.5 or a later version.
Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw
    6. If you continue to use Lightroom 4 then you can use the free Adobe DNG converter to batch convert D500 Raw files to DNG - one open Raw format developed by Adobe to keep the camera owners to have to deal with the owners of Raw formats such as NEF (Nikon) and CR2 (Canon) and software incompatibilities such as you are now facing. Then change the DNG files in Lightroom 4.

  • Photoshop Camera RAW not supporting my NEF files.

I have a little. NEF RAW images I shot on a Nikon D800 that has been downloaded from a CF of a Canon Mark III friends card. I transferred on my Macbook Pro using a Nikon transfer software and am able to view the images using the Image of Nikon Viewer, but in the finder of my Mac NAVE icon appears as a blank page, not the normal icon of the NAVE and Camera Raw in Photoshop will not open one of these images. Adobe CS5 and I have updated the plugin to the latest version (6.7.1.340) and have tried it on Adobe CC with the latest plugin for this version as well, and I get the same error message on both:

"Could not complete your request because the file appears to be a model of camera that is not taken in charge by the installed version of Camera Raw. .

" The help documentation Camera Raw for more information, please visit."

I also tried to use the Adobe DNG Converter, but this program seems to not be able to manage these images either, as when I try to convert files, a window opens which says:

" ' The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files '.

I am sure that the images are in tact, I can see the images in the viewer of Nikon, but even the Nikon software is unable to convert. I don't know if this may have been because the card had already been used on a Canon, and having spent all of a sudden a Nikon can affect the structure of the. NEF file, which would explain why the Nikon software could not convert, but it is not yet possible for the Adobe software to read? What can I do? Please help me.
