• How can I get my outgoing mail to work using Network Solutions e-mail

  I use Network Solutions to host my URL and email. I got the job of Thunderbird, but my computer crashed. I had to reinstall Windows and Thunderbird. Now, I can't have my outgoing email to work. I tried different settings of SSL and Port authentication without success. Does anyone know how to set up Network Solutions e-mail in Thunderbird?

  Did you ask to Network Solutions on the correct server settings?
  No doubt they'd change a support web site.

• BlackBerry Z10 Sync Network Solutions Outlook & files sent Z10... already upgraded IMAP

  I use Network Solutions email and try to synchronize my files sent between Outlook (Office 2007) and e-mail Z10.

  Network Solutions told me I have to buy a POP to the IMAP upgrade (I did and send e-mail and reception works fine)... but I still can't sent folders to synchronize (sync sent folder box is turned on on the z10)

  Does anyone have a suggestion or experience with this?

  I; I sync works on Z10 by identifying all the IMAP (with the query command) files in the Outlook client... then if subscribe to all IMAP folders identified... then everything syncs, including the boxes send

• Web hosting in British Colombia, but using Network Solutions to receive e-mail

  We have our domain name registered through Network Solutions and our emails also pass through them. We went live with our Muse site (www.martellaprinting.com) by changing at the end of NS record pointing to the IP 54.236.189.61. Previously, our Web site was pointing to some other IP 74.xxx.xxx.xx. We were advised not to delegate to the world BCs securesystems name servers, because we wanted to continue to use the NetSolutions for emails and not destroy our existing MX records. I got the MX records and CNAME records 2, a mail.martellaprinting.com and the other smtp.martellaprinting.com. I spoke with NetSolutions and they say that all seems well on their end (MX, CNAME records records) what should I do in the areas of Site/Site catalyst settings Business? All this happens because, of course, we can no longer receive our emails via the mail client (Thunderbird).

  Good, an update: the problem is solved by communicating with the domain registrar, in the case of Network Solutions. They had me reset the MX records on their end and after about 2 hours, e-mails were working with our email client (Thunderbird). I confirmed by talking with Adobe Online Chat and they confirmed that it is not a question of BC. Thus, we are now able to download our e-mails and our site of Muse is running

• Through email to BC Network Solutions

  I am a new partner of BC and I take my first direct client to a domain name which was a hosted site and e-mail to Network Solutions for several years.  I understand the stuff on the modification of name servers and the DNS, but what about moving the email to BC?  I could not find instructions anywhere in the documentation BC partner for the migration of an existing British Colombia e-mail account.  If anyone can help with step by step instructions that will minimize the time that my client is without his main address electronic mail service?  Thank you!

  Note You cannot migrate or export emails to or from an e-mail account of BC.

  In your case the customer must backup (archive) their current emails locally. Since there is no feature of migration for the email from the email account BC will start fresh. Or they can choose to stay with the external email provider if it is an option.

• Network solution: cable Inter - Linsys PIX 512 - WRT320N

  My current system is:

  Inter CABLE - Linsys PIX 512 (gateway 10.1.30.1, Network10.1.0.0) - router WRT320N (gateway 10.1.30.2, network 10.13.0.0, no dhcp server)

  I don't see why it isn't safe. Wireless Security Setup and that's for sure. Then, you can use the WRT as switch and single access point without running two IP subnets. You still want to print between the two file/sharing. And the way it is implemented at the moment that everything related to the WRT can access everything connected to the PIX. So if the WRT network is not secure you already have a lot of problems.

• Thunderbird has stopped receiving mail today ' today - I don't see anything on Network Solutions to solve this - HELP!

  I use at home without any problems. I installed Friday at work - has been working well. I noticed that all my email accounts now enter an Inbox and I do not remember that implemented. TB not to say "the RETR command failed. Error when receiving a message. "Mail server mail.trans - tool.com responded: cannot open this message. I can not find where to change the usual POP settings in TB. Using Windows XP.

  I can't find a way to load the driver for a 950C on a 32-bit computer Win7 HPDeskjet has NO internet access and no other network connection.  [Why is this so isolated computer?-this product is a Win7-Embedded-based instrument not designed for access to the network]

  This can be done, it is a bit involved.  You can download the driver site catalog update from Microsoft here:

  You should not use IE to your browser, other browsers are not supported on the catalog site.  Is the file that you want to a 32-bit system with a size of 11.4 MB.  (11.6 MB file is for x 64 systems and 13.9 MB system is for Server IA64 systems.)  Once the file has been downloaded, open a DOS command prompt and change directory to the location where the file was downloaded.  Then insert your USB key (I'll assume it's the X: drive in what follows) and in the BACK of the box type the following:

  Expand * .cab-F: * x:\

  This will extract the files and develop on your X: drive.  You can then take the USB drive to your computer and click Start, devices and printers, add a printer, have a disk and point to the INF on drive X:.

  Hello, this is my first post so please excuse me if I violate no forum label.

  I would like some advice on the EP 12 G rack range NIC.

  There someone of any quad 1 GB port card a TOE NETWORK interface? It seems that the standard 5720/5719 Broadcome that comes with tell the R420 - r.620 has only TSO and no TOE. And none of the cards 1 GB iSCSI unloading.

  However Cisco servers have a NIC called Broadcom 5709 1G and TOE.

  Only 10 GB NIC/NAC has full TOE/iSCSI unloading.

  Please advice :)

  unloading iSCSI is probably relatively expensive for a 1 Gbit NIC, which is a reason why Dell does not offer this (more (I remember older Dell Broadcom NIC offering him)).

  Add $50 to $ 100 NIC solution (1 GB dual port) is a fairly significant increase, but adding $50 to $500 (dual port 10 GB) card NETWORK solution is a lot less impacting. Reference Dell seems often to look at it this way.

  Also; unloading iSCSI doesn't seem to be useful in some situations; boot-from-SAN and if you want to put a file on a volume of SAN. These two have some major drawbacks when there is (much more difficult to solve) SAN connectivity problems.

  Add iSCSI unloading to record the power CPU, in my opinion, is worth it because the use of the CPU by the Broadcom or Intel NIC driver is very low on the modern servers than the total processing power of the server.

  If you really want the iSCSI unloading, I would suggest that you consider a Qlogic solution, or go with a solution of 10 GB.

• Unable to write by e-mail to in the box. I tried the compaction, but TB goes for several hours and then stops responding. I erased my in box on the server.

  There is another way. I just try and avoid it.

  • It is essentially a compact manual.
  1. Create a folder in Thunderbird and copy all mail in the Inbox.
  2. Go to the menu Tools (alt + T), and then select account settings
  3. Select the server to the account settings (or if it is a local folder or a problem of global Inbox of local records)
  4. On the right at the bottom of the screen will be a local directory. Click Browse.
  5. In the window that opens on the right click on the highlighted entry and select Explorer. This should open windows Explorer to the folder that the file in question is
  6. Close Thunderbird by clicking Cancel on all Thunderbird Windows, you opened, and then the X
  7. Delete the Inbox and Inbox MSF files
  8. Restart Thunderbird
  9. Copy your mails to Thunderbird created when he started toward the top of the Inbox.

  The Port is subject to change according to individual preferences of your ISP if your with comcast use 587.

  On this basis, please go to the menu Tools > accounts settings > outgoing (SMTP) server and change connection to zero security. Normal password authentication method and set the port based on your ISP.

  You, or someone else using your computer, may have hacked the system to redirect requests on some servers. The modified file is/etc/hosts.

  The best way to solve the hosts file is to restore from a backup prior to the change, or copy the file unmodified from another Mac. There is sometimes a copy unmodified with the name "hosts ~ orig" next to file hosts changed on the same Mac; If so, you can copy the contents of this file in the hosts file.
