Never used front microphone input, correct Recorder window, no audio output.

Sound input tape recorder going nowhere, an acoustic window is supposed to open, it does not work.

There is a software that is missing in my computer portable pavilion g7.  Its media player is fine, its internet

is fine, don't you miss that sound comes from the microphone input.  The sound recorder window is open and the

record bar is moving because the entry varies, how do I get the sound to the speakers.  Never used this

the option before, it might be defective from the factory.

Problem solved.  You can not turn on computer with the microphone or other audio cable.

If the computer does not meet the entries, you must connect the microphone or audio

cable after connection and then a window will open allowing you to select the default entry.

Taking microphone does not support line-in entry that allows to record the audio stream to a device.

You can use the external microphone to record Mono sounds in your applications. It also allows to issue voice commands for applications that support these functions.

    Hi Hayekk,

There are several things to try:

    ·      Remove and then reinstall the device:

    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

2 Select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

    3. click on Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

    4. If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

    5. follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

    ·         Make sure that the device is on and that the batteries should be replaced.

    ·         Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

    ·         The unit may be out of range of your computer, or too close. Try to move closer or a little further away from your computer.

  • Equium M50-216: cannot save or use the microphone or "phone entries

I have an Equium M50-216, with 1 GB of RAM & Centrino 1.7 GHz processor, running XP Home.

Without apparent reason, I am suddenly unable to use my SKYPE USB ' phone to talk. Audio output is perfect, however.

I also tried my helmet using the jack on the front of the laptop, with the same result.

I downloaded and installed the latest driver for the sound card, which is a Realtek AC97. I tried the test equipment of Windows, but there is no evidence of entry he built in sound recorder, audio, or in windows.
The device driver is properly enabled and reported no problems.

Is it a hardware problem - as it seems card works OK for output?
Is it a Windows problem - I can achieve a reformatting the drive & re-install of XP soon - it would help?

    Roger.

    Hello

As far as I understand your problem, you are not able to use the external microphone. Am I wrong?
You mean that it's a hardware problem, hmmm I n t think so.
To me, it looks like a wrong setting

Please check if the microphone is activated. This should be verified in the--> sound & audio devices Control Panel.
On the volume tab, press the Advanced button.

In the options settings, you can switch between the playback volume controls & record.
    Please check everything!

  • How to record what is happening by the sound card without using the microphone to avoid loss of quality.

I tried, but there is no "Stereo mix" available options. There is only the (Conexant High Definition Audio) Microphone. It did not work. What I'll do is to buy a DVD for TV (tv Record program) burner and plug the hdmi cable from my computer to the DVD recorder and record what I want. After that, I just rip the audio from the file. I see no other option to do. I use windows vista Home premium.

I would like to know how I can record the sound that is played by the soundcard using Vista without using the microphone as a source. Let's say the audio is played (audio stream) and I want to record this stream. There are many software that we can download that record what is happening in the microphone. The sound bounces off the speakers to the microphone. But when this happens, you lose a lot of the quality of the audio. So my question is if it is possible to record what is happening to the right of the sound card, before being sent to the sound card in order to avoid the loss of audio quality.

    ==============================
Movie Maker has an option to record Narration...
(Tools / tell the chronology). If you select stereo mix
as the "Audio Input Source", you can save the
Audio online. Your speakers and microphone are

  • If I leave the IE8 on Windows XP Mode, but never use it, is there a way I can be hacked by him once Microsoft stops support for Windows XP?

Original title: Windows XP in virtual mode

I have Windows 7.1 with Windows XP in virtual mode so that I can use older products, not supported by 7.1.  In virtual XP mode, there is an Internet Explorer 8.  I understand that after Microsoft eliminates support for XP that can cause future security issues.  I run the latest version of Internet Explorer on my Windows 7.1.  If I leave the IE8 on the virtual XP mode but never use it, is there a way I can be hacked through it?  Should I remove the IE8 completely of the virtual Windows XP?

If you never use IE (any version), it cannot be 'hacked '.

If you wanted to be doubly secured, you can prevent accidental use by uninstalling...

    • Open the Control Panel - Add or remove programs
    • Remove IE8 (and IE7 if necessary) - click to highlight, then click on remove
    • Click Add/Remove Windows components
    • Uncheck the box Internet Explorer and click Next

I want to download Windows Mail as it is a more updated from Outlook Express version, my computer has Outlook Express preinstalled on it when I bought it but I have never used, it would be better to uninstall Outlook Express before you install Windows Mail or do I need to keep Outlook Express on my computer where Windows Mail needs to use some of the files I don't want these two e-mail on my computer programs as they would take so much space on my computer.

Sure. You can download and install WLMail 2009 on your XP machine. I have no idea why you prefer on Outlook Express, but each to their own.

  • Given that I already used the windows key on my computer, means that I can never use it again? Or is - this perpetual, I can use it forever?

So a few months ago I completely wiped the BONE (sindows) acccidentally. I don't know why it happened, but there is no file at all, no OS. Using another computer, I had a trial version of the same Windows I have 7 Home premium and inserted the product key, I have inside my Dell laptop and got it to work under Win 7 again. My question is: given that I've used the key of windows already on my computer, does that mean I can never use it again? Or is - this perpetual, I can use it forever?

You can use as many times as you like on the same Dell computer.

There might be some cases if reinstall you it from scratch, you may need to use the activation of the phone well:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

I have a desktop at home and at work with xp, that I love.  This new hp laptop is great, except for this lousy windows 8, which I hate.  It is difficult to use and did not get more easy with the time.  I would like to go back to xp, but not because of microsoft.  I've never used windows 7, but it happened to be better than this pig.   help (wish I had bought a macbook air)

If it's Pro 8 then there are downgrade rights associated with the supplied license, this does not apply to the base license Windows 8.

Microsoft however do not help in this process that you can not the software from them you will need to source it yourself, but when you come to authenticate you must call the authentication service to get a key.
