HP Pavilion HPE h9-1182 Phoenix - update 8.1 Windows - NO audio output rear

I have the above listed computer. Today, I've updated to Windows 8. 1. the rear audio jacks no longer work. (For what it's worth, is the same thing when I upgraded to Windows 8. I managed to fix it on my own even though I'm not all that knowledgeable computer). This time, I can't not. Audio works very well since the helmet top-mounted, but I would like to have 5.1 sound, using all the three sockets on the back. Help, please. Thank you!

I'm a fool. The problem was between my screen and the back of my chair throughout. My first step was to move the audio drivers, assuming that was the problem... is not that I PLUGGED my speakers faced evil in the back.

Sorry to waste your time on this one, but I appreciate the answer anyway! I will do my best to be more intelligent (or at least more patients) from here on out!

Dear Sirs, I wanted to update my PC with mew, 750 gtx video card it made by model name Gigabyte GV-N75TWF2OC - 2gi, but is facing a problem of capacity. As far as I know, you might have a BIOS upgrade, which can help me to solve the problem in order to avoid additional questions, I tested the card on my friend's PC (it's more modern) and the adapter worked correctly. Please help me with the situation

The question that you see is because the video card has a vBIOS UEFI and BIOS of the desktop does not give you the ability to disable secure boot or enable the legacy bootable media (CSM).  There is no update available at HP BIOS that will solve this problem.

The only option would be to buy a video card PCIe - x 16 from a manufacturer who has been kind enough to [provide a workaround solution that has the vBIOS UEFI workaround solution that allows the video card to use a legacy customer vBIOS. The manufacturer of video card only that I am aware of is that currently is ASUS.

I need to upgrade to Win10. The current GeForce 7500 video in my HP Pavilion H8 1200z is not supported, and Nvidia is not writing a new driver for it.

I bought a PowerColor Radeon HD5450 1 GB which is supported by Win10.

My system will not produce any video when turned on after installing the HD5450 video card.

There was a suggestion elsewhere on the web that I may need to update the MB BIOS to take in charge this "so-called" compatible PCIe card back.

There is no latest BIOS listed on the site of HP for this Gigabyte MB support.

Is it possible to get this video update of work in my PC?

Yes, I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't work anymore.  Maybe try a Geforce 5 * series or 6 * series card that also supports Windows 10.  The real card that has begun is problem is not a great artist, then maybe a lower in the 5 * or Geforce card 6 * series will do.

The NVIDIA GTX 660 should work on your PC when matched with the right kind of food.

When I reboot I get the message of abnormal termination of Windows.   There is no warning at all.  No message as the computer is overheating.  He comes to occur when the computer is idle without programs will open.

When it stops, the power supply unit light goes out for a minute then comes back on the 'green' and the computer can be restarted.

I unplugged the power cord and relugged and it seems fine.

The computer is aware of the updates of Windows and can be stopped normally.

I removed the cover and clean the dust and confirmed all fans are running properly.  I left the lid off the coast, and the computer stops again.

I must add that when the computer is started 'cold' it runs about 15 minutes.  If you restart after it just closed, you have maybe 3-5 minutes of use.

  • HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO: Questions about change of graphics card

Hello, my computer is a HP Pavilion HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO desktop PC. I think it's time to replace the graphics card, it's come up with, the GeForce GT 545. Lately my performance in games such as Star Wars The Old Republic has considerably decreased in FPS and it stutters terribly while he was playing even on the smaller settings. The fan is really loud when the games. And in the past two months, I got two random reboots, which gave rise to a video as material error being the cause. The fan blades have a lot of dust between the two, but they are so small and placed together, I can't clean it good.

I have an EVGA GeForce GT 640 to replace. But I have a few questions first. This card is compatible with my motherboard, right? Second, before installing it, should I uninstall the drivers I have right now for my 545? If so, I then stop and put the new? And after that I put in, the resolution will be all twisted up until I have install new drivers? And should I install the drivers from the NVIDIA site, right and forget the CD?

Also, I have a 600w PSU, fake? That's what the specs say on HP for my computer, so it's going to be enough to have the right to TG 640?

And then, about my diet, I want to get dust inside of it, but I won't come out or open or other. I saw on the site of HP I can take a vacuum and suck the dirt out of the outside vent. Can I do this without damaging it? I have a vacuum in my garage from Sears, I got that I use to clean my car, which would be allowed to use on the outside vent?

    Thank you for the answers!

    GT545 (75W) and 640 (65W) are only 10W difference.

Uninstall via the Device Manager.  I always liked create a new installation with the latest software and driver CD. If you wish, use the old CD. That will be established. It will update.  If you use a shop vacuum, keep the nozzle in contact with the metal frame. I like the nozzle between 2 fingers from the cradle.

    Hello

  • Desktop HP HPE h9-1150 Phoenix: can you do a update the BIOS of Windows 8 while on a Windows 10 operating system?

As indicated in the title, you can do a BIOS in Windows 8 update while on a Windows 10 operating system?

I have a Phoenix desktop h9-1150 and am trying to install a new GPU GTX970. There is no updated BIOS for Windows 10 at this time, but there is an update of my current BIOS 7.07 for Windows 8 OS. Can I do that Windows 8 updated safely?

Normally the flasher will check to verify the operating system, but I can't on this one.  It does not separate out ROM file, even if it does not check if the operating system you can always extract the file BIOS and flash BACK.  I would try it first in windows.  It will tell you if there is a control in place.

  • updated block FOOD & card video on Pavilion HPE h8 - 1070t

I have studied various posts on this topic, but it could still use a recommendation please.   I want to improve my video card to a Radeon HD 7870 (first choice) or Radeon HD 7850 (second choice).  They all need two 500 watt supply.  I have a HP 460 watt stock in there.  I think to upgrade the PSU power SUPPLY Corsair CX600 or TX650 and wanted to check first.  My system:

    HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1070t (2600 i7 quad-core)

    2 hard drives

1 Blu - Ray combo player

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Those are good pirates for my model and if so should I "V2" version of them?

    Thank you!

Both the CX600 V2 Corsair and the Corsair TX650 V2 are power supplies, but because of the narrowness of the HP case and the little space between the power and CD/DVD/BluRay drives... I recommend that you install the slightly smaller CX600.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1380t CTO: compatibility problems, ask questions about knitting-by-turn or possible motherboard replacement.

I recently baught an EVGA GTX 1060, as this 630 became quite long in the tooth and I thought that I would try to future proof myself a little as the rest of my components seem to be working very well.  However, I can't get the map to work correctly on this particular computer.  Oddly enough, I can get past that screen startup finally after several short beeps and let it sit, but it takes fowever to reach the office and clearly is not executed properly that the resolution is wobbly and software from Nvidia cannot even detect the card.  I guess I had got this far because of the onboard graphics of some sort, but AFAIK this motherboard which lacks.

I know that the card works fine as I tested it in my other Tower, so I struggled to find a solution.  So far, it seems that the problem is most likely the motherboard, as HP does not have a new BIOS for it since the beginning of 2013 (which I did go ahead and install it).  If true, I find myself with either two options, it seems that the ditch system, entirely or find a motherboard that works with all my old components.  I'd rather not have to empty this workaholic, when all other parts work great, if it is not a work around I would like to know if there are motherboards I could pass that would work with the rest of my components.  Normally I would not bother with even apply for, but I hear a lot of chatter on HP PCs pre-constructed having compatibility problems.

I bought this computer there is in the case of four years that I would be able to update as I do with any other PC, but I didn't know at the time that HP has a tendency to not update the BIOS settings for anything beyond a year which I admit is incredibly frustrating.  What is done is done however, and I want to make this work without having to clear the entire system.

    @Faver, welcome to the forum.

Your problem is the BIOS.  However, it is because the 1060 GTX requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The BIOS may not be upgraded in the UEFI.  The last cards only not for UEFI were the GTX 660/670.

MSI made cards with a switch that can be used with a Legacy BIOS or UEFI.  If you decide to go this way, you must contact their Technical Support to help them choose the best card for your system.

The upgrade of the motherboard can be a problem.  HP has taken advice their specifications.  Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as the commercial versions.  Please make sure that the holes in the motherboard matches the accessory in the case.  In addition, some members have had problems with the connectors in the connections case before, for example, the power button.
