  My InDesign has just updated to the latest 2015 (version 11.01, I think).

  I use an iMac with latest OS X 10.10.4 and have used the subscription service of creative cloud for a couple of years now - never had a problem like this with previous updates.

  
  

  The update that happened a couple of days, but only today have I need / have time for the new InDesign - I need to update my profile/biography/RESUME.

  Then.

  1. Without thinking about the update of the app, I just double-click the file InD I want to be updated, something I did regularly for years.
  2. See the new app start screen - and think that "Oh, should I have sorted preferences etc first.
  3. But as the splash screen disappears and the workspace app appears, it disappears and InD is suspended.

  
  

  Next step: remove the preferences and try again.

  This time, I decided to start with open InD directly from the Applications folder.

  Same thing.

  Then...

  
  

  1. Use the uninstall feature in the creative menu Cloud
  2. Also remove preferences and caches
     
  3. Remove the various folders that contains the pref files.
  4. Disable fonts in FontAgent Pro work, leaving only minimum "skeleton" system fonts

  There's a pretty good chance that the problem is with FontAgent Pro is not yet compatible with the new version of the code. ITU usually takes awhile of plugins to get caught.

  I bought a new MacBook Pro - 13 "with Retina display last year (2015). Everything has been excellent work until a week ago when I start my computer, the keyboard and the trackpad no longer work, as he begins to search for a bluetooth keyboard.

  I have never used a bluetooth on the computer and can only get this to stop after anywhere from 5-15 and forced reboots. Is there a way to fix this? I read the older forums and have tried to remove the Bluetooth.plist and restart the computer, run disk utility, but nothing seems to solve the problem permanently. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

  After an error on one of the disk on my Dell XPS 420 I would replace both drives and RAID O installation.  But a friend gave me a new Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB SSD, so I bought a new 1 to HDD for storage media and use the SSD for windows and programs.  I installed clean the SSD in Port O and started with Vista from Dell to original disk, and then install Windows 7 with upgrade my drive.  (I not yet added to the HARD drive).

  Is now working a bit faster but the software Samsung magician says AHCI is disabled and this affects the performance of the SSD. The only options in the (A07) BIOS for SATA controllers are RAIDAutodetect / ATA or RAID and I have tried both (whenever I changed I had to reinstall Win 7) but speed results are the same and it's still saying AHCI is disabled.  I read many forums to research, that RAID is/active AHCI - is this OK?

  I don't know if I can activate the AHCI somehow the SSD won't work as it should.  The BIOS has no mention of AHCI.  How to activate it? My PC capable to AHCI and if not can I go for it?

  Hi John,.

  XPS 420 has no AHCI option in SATA operation and disks cannot operate in ATA mode / RAID.

  If you want to add this feature to your system, replacement motherboard would be necessary. The system is compatible with Intel X 38 Express chipset BTX motherboard.

  You may need to see consistent with AHCI Motherboard upgrade options.
