  If yours is a copy the retail Windows, Yes, you can do this. No problem and no conviction of Microsoft is required. Just install it.

  But if you saved money by buying an OEM copy, you're out of luck. The biggest drawback of an OEM is that its license it permanently binds to the first computer on which it is installed and is not transferred to another computer nb.

I signed the same account on both computers.

  It is relatively simple as you use and that you want to use WLM.

  You will need to copy a folder from where it is (the old installation) to another place where you know it will be (for example on your desktop)

  The folder is c:\users\your user name\app data (if it is not there, see the note below) \local\microsoft\

  At that point you will see a folder named oddly enough "windows live mail" copy on your desktop

  If you don't see the app data because it is invisible atm.  To make it visible, you need to go to your control panel > folder options > view > change to hidden folders (see figure)

  

  Once you have mail backed up on your desktop (or where ever) drag the folder from the desktop to the location for the new WLM (once again we C;-... just like above).  Just make sure that WLM does not run in time.  What wont be imported, it of passwords and rules.

  Accounts and data should now be in the new WLM when you open it.

  Yes, you can.

  Licenses are managed by signing with your Adobe Acrobat DC identification code you install Acrobat DC on the new computer, log in and you will work.

  It would be a good idea to disconnect the first, but not required, that you can manage from your Adobe account.

  I suggest to connect to Adobe.com and check the serial number on the site, if you had registered the serial number on the old computer.

  Also if you still have CS6 box with you, please try to look on the box.

  You can only register a product - it's simply your way of recording with Adobe that you have bought and started to use one of their products.  You can activate several times during the life whole but - it happens whenever you reinstall the software, but there are limited to two at any time.

  Well, I was a nervous wreck today (this morning until now.. causes now its YAY THIRTY of BEER! MOMENT of relaxation)

  Nervous wrecklessness reason is that I went to the center of MN micro. area to identify the new components of the computer and see if they could generate for me and be in my tight budget.

  It took about 3 hours. But fortunately the sales guy, I met was fantastic and very cool... and I knew a LOT about the high range machines and monitors etc... through its own computer use (serious gamer but aware of video editing and photoshop pro level). He did a lot to lessen my anxiety... and between us, we think we've got a good system to start. I can add stuff (readers and better monitor (s) later as needed).

  That's what I have... and I will pick it up in 3-4 days from now... and she will weigh about 40 pounds!  Yikes!  It's HUGE!

  

  After I pick up and bring home I'll install cs6 paper creative suite... windows and CS6 update to the latest versions and patches and fixes and whatever... and then disconnect the new computer (disable) on the internet.

  We thought on 1 SSD for the OS

  1 SSD for scratch disk (cs6) and no doubt these rendered temp files etc. who loves PR...

  2 hard drives in raid 1 for the original material

  1 hard drive for exports.

  Then I can use my graid of hd ext for the backup of exports or transit.

  I will probably need help to this right implementation and busy adobe... and hope that this thread can do even if we are in the living room and generally do not deal with the tech issues... I'll see how it goes on the road.

  I really don't want to spread myself across the map and share messages with people who are frankly a little less than the person trying to eek on the best system 'pro', I can go with this system to start... with an eye to add later (like when I get a client for example... that would be nice at some point.. duh)

  Anyway, no matter it's THIRTY BEER! YIPPEEE!

• ITunes sees not music in itunes folder transferred to the new computer

  I copied and transferred my iTunes folder from an old hard drive to new drive but when you open the iTunes application, he does not see the music in the iTunes folder.  I think it may be related to that of the old iTunes folder now in the new computer.  I have more access to the old hard drive, only the copies on external drives, so I cannot consolidate the music in one folder using iTunes.

  The iTunes media folder location has been given as C:\Users\User\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media and I replaced the iTunes on the new C drive folder with my old iTunes folder copied.

  So I don't see that the music data in the iTunes folder, but I don't know what is wrong.

  My laptop (i5, running Win 7) is my workhorse computer that had all my favorite settings stored. I added a new office (AMD, Win 8.1) that will be used as a multimedia entertainment unit, but when I connected the cable to install FireFox it replaced all the settings in my laptop with the new computer. How can I keep the different settings on each computer? Must have 2 different accounts to be able to do this? I have now lost the web address for some of my sites, so it's quite painful. The "recently marked with a bookmark" folder is the main problem, because it is where I was monitoring my sites.
  Computer LAPTOP is Acer Aspire i5 & Win 7 runs the modules listed below.

  Auto Firefox installed the same modules as the laptop, but I will change those & don't want to FF to automatically install the same on both computers. How can I separate them?
