• New content editor... where is the tool?

  Had a client who is very active with the creation of their own events, blog posts, etc... They recently contacted me the tools that allowed them to wrap the text, align the images, etc. disappeared. I checked into it and I saw "beta" features that could have been the culprit. My question is when this becomes the new "Editor" these tools will be re-introduced? If this is not the case, how the customer and the end user who does not know how to it adopt with HTML do these functions once the Publisher has changed? Can't believe that this could be a development control. I spoke with tech and they directed me here, so a person weigh and let me know what happens. Thank you!

  You can do with the alignment but always a problem with the editor of old still. This also creates inline bad markup, including a number of things, including the SEO effects.

  As I have said in other threads the best way is to use the class (make some for the dropdown css menu)

  I do on every site, in fact and none of the inline styles.

  Question: How can I add target frame to a thumbnail image in the new admin Editor (content owner)?

  I have the new active admin Editor, and when I try to put a link on a simple thumbnail image there is no option in the 'link manager' where can I change the target frame, etc... of course I can go in the HTML code and add that myself but I feel it is a step back as the system that is supposed to get easier to use for our users not the other way around...

  If I want the code, I won't do in Dreamweaver :-) in the image editor in the image inside a web browser!

  Other than that, whenever Adobe changed something put us in the constant worry that some of her previously we built site stops working.

  I think that you should use the new schema of the content editor to allow the content editor work.

  In Dreamweaver, create a html5 page, go to insert > model > editable region and Dreamweaver automatically turn the page in a .dwt (dreamweaver template) file and insert an editable region.

  You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  Do you get specific error messages?

  Sometimes, it is just the Apple servers. All you can do is restart iTunes, restart your router and try again later.

  I recently converted to Eudora 7 to 24.6 TB on Windows. TB seems to work ok except for one question.

  I have an email with 5 attachments. These files updated occasionally and I need to return them. With Eudora, I'd do a "send again" and the content of the update files would be attached and sent the email.

  TB I go to the sent folder and change as new. When I send the email, it sends the content of the old files not the updated content. I have to remove all attachments, and then tie them again to get the new content. It's very embarrassing.

  Some online systems will display no formatting at all.

  If you do not see at all you need to check how your load and your CSS in your reference models. For us, a single style sheet called in the head and the classes that specify us and shaped the basis of setting styles are captured.

  So what should not keep in mind that this will never match 100% your website, from what you say here that you have a problem when the system is wrong read your styles. This could be because of the way it is loaded on your website, CSS errors in the stylesheet etc.

  Yes, looks like the Composition widget containers are of fixed height. I expect any container widget that supports being 100% browser width will work (accordion, tab panel, status button), but others will not for the moment. We will look at that review, but it will not be part of the next major release.

  Hitting return in the new WYSWIG editor should create a < p > tag, not a < div > tag.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new page
  2. Start typing the text.
  3. Switch to HTML view. Your text will be surrounded by a < p > tag
  4. Now, highlight and update your text in an H1.
  5. Then with your cursor positioned immediately after the last character of your H1 title, hit enter to start a new line
  6. Type a few words
  7. Switch to HTML view. You text is surrounded by the < div > tags. There are < p > tags.

  Disappointing that a new editor is not by default < p > tags.

  I guess the only way to work around this problem (apart from not to edit the HTML code) is to update the CSS to style the tags < div > < p > the same.

  Any thoughts?

  Pretty ironic that this editor (in the forums work as expected) - this line was created as a < p > after hitting return in the topic above.
