New icon grayed shade

Running InDesign CC 2014.2 under Win 7 Pro 64 bit latest version. Trying to create a new shade and the new swatch icon is not available in a new (or old) document. It existed previously.

Outcast,

Thanks for the offer on this issue. I see what is the problem:

Choose shades | Otherwise, record or paper is selected - default I guess, then the icon new nuance is not available

Choose any sample user-defined and the icon new shade is available.

Or I can take the control drop-down in the corner of HEART of the Swatch Group. New shade of color and that works regardless of what is selected in the list of existing shades.

  • V37.0.2 has the new icon on the toolbar above (it looks like server), how can I remove?

    Hello

I upgraded to v37.0.2 and now the toolbar above (the one with the URL, search inside), the new icon on the top toolbar - extreme right (it looks like server).
    Please see screenshot.

I went to remove it by following my usual method of an editing toolbar
    (1) by clicking on the icon for line 3 horitzontal (settings I think its name)
    (2) then you click Customize
    (3) then drag and drop the unwanted icons out of the toolbar.
But unfortunately the man disappeared when I went in this mode. So couldn't do step 3

In general, if I want to remove something from a toolbar, I do these 3 steps. But it does not work for this new thing.

How can I remove this new thing that I don't want that?

  • Foxfire 4.0 launch, just to the low new loaded, to MAC G4, and click on the new icon. Any help.

Downloaded updated 4.0 in Mac Applications and dragged new icon shortcuts. A window pops up saying a new security update must be installed. Clicked on install and run... connection to the server for several minutes, but never seemed to connect.

In the meantime I tried to open shortcut 4.0 and was invited with will launch no-10661? Why? And the update is probably still running to connect to the server on my other computer as far as I know and does not connect.

I also noticed that in the installation window where you drag the product in the application box, just above the icon for drag there was a confused statement that says 1 of 2.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third part of Firefox 4 version that works under OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

If you prefer, you can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

  • Firefox creates the new icon from the taskbar when already pins. How to return to activate the pinned icon?

After the 4.0.1 update, Windows now creates a new icon in the taskbar instead of activate one who is already pinned there. This does not happen on other computers I've used.

Hi, a bit of googling solved the problem, this article eplains,

  • LabVIEW2009: How to replace the new Icon Editor with old?

    Ladies and gentlemen,

I really don't like the new icon introduced in LabVIEW 2009 Editor:

It was tried to "Photoshop shipped" with a lot of features:

But I don't like it really, because:

-It has opened EVERY time on the RIGHT monitor (I have three monitors and main monitor in the middle)

-It takes a lot of time to launch (former editor of icon start momentally)

d ' usability point of view - it was wrong to place tools on the right side. Often, they are on the left side (and only in the old icons, but also in imageprocessing Editor software like Adobe Photoshop). Also front of interface design user Panel... hmmm... This can be better...

-some bugs or modified features (for example - KING to select, then press the button - nothing happened)

    etc...

Is it possible to replace it with an old man:

Ideal solution will be - switch just between two editors (some features introduced are not so bad).

    Thanks in advance,

    Andrey.

Go to \Resource\Plugins and rename lv_icon.vi. It is a plugin that is called when you call icon editor, and if it isn't there, LV is the Editor (at least for now. I don't know how many versions to come, they will keep the code).

Note that the editor is open source, so you can enter and change what you want (or save you time and use the changes others did, as the thread of PJM here. You can also watch other discussions in this group).

  • Why my system tray showing a new icon and the message "Windows manages this network adapter. Click here to use ProSet/Wireless' when I have a NetGear adapter

Help!  I'm not a computer guru.

Today I noticed a new icon in my system tray and when I place my curson on it, I get the message: 'Windows manages the wireless adapter.  Click here to use ProSet/Wireless. "(I have not clicked on the icon so I don't know what would happen if I did.)   I recently downloaded Explorer 8 from the Microsoft site, but except that I have not changed anything with my computer.  I have the NetGear wireless software on my computer, so I was surprised to see ProSet/Wireless.  Also, the ProSet/Wireless will now appear in "programs".  Is it possible that someone is hacking my computer wireless and succeeded in putting the ProSet software? On this subject, or is it something that is connected with Internet Explorer 8?  Either way, I'm running Windows XP and have Norton 360 protection.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

What computer brand and model do you have?

What model Netgear wireless network card?

It is highly unlikely that anyone who has maliciously installed Intel Pro/Set on your computer (especially considering that he is even not manages your network card).  Also, it is not related to IE 8.  If I had to guess, I assume you have Windows Update configured to install updates "optional equipment" as well as "Critical" updates.  If you do, change this setting.

Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK), expand the "Network adapters" section by clicking on the +.  What devices are listed under network adapters?

  • whenever I insert a disc, I get a new icon on my desktop to make it

Hi, I have a problem. When I put a new disc in my DVD player I have a drive icon on my desktop. Each new disc that I have Gets a new icon, so I have half a dozen at the same time, often. I don't remember any change, who said that he would do this, please help!

    I finally found the answer.
TweakNow PowerPack is a feature that has placed a new icon on the desktop for each disc insert (supposedly for faster access to disk) called CDAutorun.exe. Disabling this program in the list of the problem resolved startup programs.

  • New icon named "Office" suddenly appeared on my desk after update 13 Aug

Right now (August 13, 2014) after monthly automatic refresh of today, a new icon called simply 'Office' appeared on my desk. It wasn't a link to something else, but a text file that I hesitate to remove from the hand. The content of the file was/is:

    [. ShellClassInfo]
    LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21769
    IconResource=%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,-183

That is - what, why do I have it cluttering up my desktop? What happens if I delete just the thing?

    Thank you.

Desktop.ini is one of these files which stores the information of software. I have
believe the content of this file go to the place where, if the desktop folder
It appears in a window of the Explorer, it would have the desktop icon. (I
do not mean a shortcut, I want to say the icon of Windows 7, which represents the
    desktop computer.)

This file, marked as 'hidden' and 'system', is considered in several files
and is used to store settings file, like the one I described above. He has been
designed to be used with Windows Explorer, then you probably would not see
too often than other technical users.

Your office is managed by Windows Explorer. It is clear from the Windows Explorer
parameters and above your file management application settings are
independent, why you were probably confused about the part .ini.

I think an update done probably a kind of maintenance that
noticed something was a little off (in this case, the 'missing'
Desktop.ini file) and thought he was doing the right thing by putting
it there, as I saw these files desktop.ini apparently randomly reappear
from time to time (at least at times, when I had the hidden system files + showing).
However, as I said above, I too ask how it happened all of a sudden there.

    I have an annoying problem:

The taskbar has made the fallen on all programs, which I use all the time:

The problem is that when I click on Steam, Winamp or minefield opened, that they pop up the new icon in the taskbar to open the window to the icon pinned to the taskbar.

Steam is the most interesting: he sometimes appears with an icon wrong some of the games that I have steam: Left 4 Dead 2, GTA IV etc.

I tried the method of re - pin the programs, but it did not work at all.

    Thanks in advance. :)

All you have to do is to start your computer in Mode safe. To do this, start or restart your computer. When the screen with the Windows Logo that says "Starting Windows" below, press the F8 key. A screen will appear indicating "Reboot Advanced Options". Use the arrow keys to scroll to "Safe Mode" and press the Enter key.
Once it has loaded up, go to the start menu and click on restart. All your icons should be back to normal once your computer starts up.
