  I get an error when I try to paste an object or text in a new layer in Illustrator.

  I'll create a new layer and select it in the layers palette, but when I go to paste the object or the text fits in the layer it comes.

  I open a photo, the I'm going to the range of settings on the right, click the Photo icon say filter to open a new layer. Inside, only the icon will then appear but no layer to work. See my photo 1.

  I believe that what is causing your problem. In the settings menu, make sure add default mask is checked. If this option is not checked, no mask is created - I was able to reproduce your problem by disabling this option, as shown below.

  OK - so what I want to do is, I think, so easy that I cannot find directions on how to do. I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but I'm going:

  I'm creating masks so that objects which can be thrown on the white Fund and put a layout.

  It has been suggested to me that a way to test the integrity of your masks is to create a layer as a background job, a really strong color like pink or neon green, so that you can easily see if your white (or pink/green) is sneaking through you mask

  Problem is that I can't figure out how to create this substantive work.

  Can anyone help? I know that is an easy question, but I can't understand it.

• Photoshop CS5 crashes when you drag a new layer

  I was looking for a forum for similar problems, but no sons had a solution (except uninstalling and reinstalling PS CS5 or worse still - formatting my PC).

  I must say that this problem is completely new. PS worked perfectly for a few months. It crashes when I stick a new layer and drag it.

  These are my specs:

  * Nvidia GeForce 8400 M GS with the last pilot 266.58 (I uninstalled the earlier and he had a new installation of the new driver)

  I have an object made to 3D element bound to a null object to control its movement. The position that there is everything I like. However, when I add a new layer (layer setting, sound, text or other) changes the position of the null object. It comes to a lot of trouble because I use 3d objects and as they occupy a different position, their movement seems wrong.

  I wanted to add an adjustment layer, so I précomposé just what I have and add the adjustment to the model layer, so it does not change. It worked perfectly. But, now, I want to add a new text object, bring it to feature 3D extrude it and bind it to a null object, the problem is that if I add the null object, or the text layer to the original model, the previous objects will change their position.

  I use phrases such as wiggle and time * with the first null object. This has something to do with that evil?

  Yes. The seed of wiggle() and other Pseudo-aleatoires functions is obtained according to the index. You must manually set a seed with seedRandom (< your="" value="" here="">, true) to avoid tampering. This is nothing unusual.

  -There are two types of objects: blocks and textlayers (numbers). Each block has so a number on top it is.

  

  What I ultimately need is a new layer structure:

  -Each object + textlayer must be placed in a separate layer, AND that a new layer should be renamed the number which is within that layer. Like this:

  

  My first thought was to collect items from its position. For example: Position the text object can be placed at x and are coordinated from the block, but + 2mm for margin offset. What would be the point of recognition for the script to put in the separate layer.

  Or look for bunk objects and put them in a new layer.

• When dragging a file icon to add a new layer

  When you drag an icon from a file to a Photoshop file open window I get a circle with a diagonal line. i.e. it does not allow me to move/create a new layer.

  Yes, to answer your question. But I think I found the problem.

  After installation of Ps I've updated. At the end of the update, he said that one or more update programs "may" require a reboot. Since none of the programs said it wanted a reboot I have not.

  Just to smile and laugh, I rebooted corrupts. After a reboot, I was able to drag files into the window of PS. Yes!

  Moral of the story, if the update program says "may require a reboot" interpret this as"will require a reboot".

• "Refine edge" creates now automatically new layer... why?

  For some reason whenever I have any use the option "Refine edge" after making a selection, then click on 'OK', Photoshop creates a new layer with a mask on it, instead of simple leaves the edge of the selection and let me decide what to do with it (which was the previous behavior).

  I have no idea if this is the new default behavior or if I triggered an option somewhere that I shouldn't.

  How to "Refine edge" DOES NOT create a new layer or something like that?

  In the dialog box refine edge, there's a menu drop down allowing you to do a number of things, including taking a new layer with mask. Choose something else.

  Image > Mode > RGB. But there are problems to open animated after the fact in recent versions of the EPS, GIF images sometimes. You end up with just one layer, then save your layered as a PSD or tiff for future editing.

  When you create the adjustment layer hold

  the ALT key then check the use previous layer to create clipping mask dialog box.
