• How do I just get messages from the Inbox to show the new mail notification?

  I install Thunderbird with Gmail and it works like a charm. The only complaint I have is that the new mail notification seems to grasp a selection of emails unread from different folders and often it does not show the new relevant emails in my Inbox. ESP. the all mail folder seems to provoke the doubling of message notifications, but this isn't the only one.

  All I want is my Inbox for new e-mail notifications. Is there anyway to change the current behavior?

  And there is no solution to limit the mail in a particular folder Inbox or other, so I suggest ur stuck.

  My outlook messages warn me not with the sound when mail is delivered to the Inbox.  Neither does Gmail!  They both have been configured to play sounds for the same thing.  Help, please!  Thank you!!

  I understand that you are more alert audio audition for Gmail or Outlook on your iPhone. I know it's nice to be updated to new alerts without having to see your iPhone, so I'm happy to help you.

  To begin, check that you can hear other sounds on your iPhone and alerts. This article contains information on how to check that:

  If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
  

  1. Go to settings > sounds and drag the slider to Ringer and alerts to increase the volume.
  2. If you hear the sound from the speaker, follow the rest of these steps. If you hear no sound from speaker, contact Apple technical support.
  3. If your device has a ring/silent switch, make sure it's set to ring. (If you see orange, your device is configured for silent).
     
  4. Restart your device.
  5. Open an application that has the music or sound effects. Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or the slider in theControl Center.
  6. Go to settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off. Then, check the sound back.
  7. Plug in a headset. If you can hear the sound in the headphones, remove it, then clear any dust or debris from making headphones to your device.
  8. If your device is in a case, make sure that the case does not block the speaker.
  9. Use a brush to gently clear all debris from the enclosure and lightning connector (or 30 dock connector pin). The brush should have soft, clean and dry hair.
  10. Update your device to the latest version of iOS.

• New Mail notification to appear in my Windows account login screen, peux I turn this off?

  I started using Thunderbird for my email because I am so sick of "Comcast/Xfinity" unwanted advertising and dumping else on my computer when I just want to make my Comcast email. I've customized email Thunderbird (options, etc.) to display the way I want. However, I use a shared computer I put in place will have to connect to multiple user accounts or the Admin and now T-Bird puts in place a notification on my user account (on the Windows login screen) of new e-mail arriving and how many new emails I have. I don't necessarily want other users to see if I have new messages and the number of new messages I. Is there a way to disable this "feature"? I don't see any option in the tools of T-Bird.

  If you have already logged on to the Windows user account and you can see the desktop etc, then please turn off alerts notifications according to the instructions contained in the first comment marked as "helpful answer.

  When you see the windows logon and an alert appears:
  On the keyboard, press the "Prt Scr" button.
  then the connection to the user account
  Open 'Paint' (start > programs > Accessories > Paint)
  Right click and choose "Paste."
  Save as a jpg on desktop image

• Where can I change e-mail notification "new customer comment"?

  Currently I use the Module reviews the customer's Web site. When someone posts a comment, the customer receives an e-mail notification "New customer comment", so that the customer can moderate comments. The problem is that all the emails notification of workflow for my client's Web site are brand for his company and this e-mail notification "New customer comment" bears the mark and the address of my business and not his default "from". How can I change this?

  I must point out that in a conversation with the support, the person I chatted with that said that it could not be changed because it was an email notice aside server that could not be edited / brand by me. Given the presence of brandable Workflow notification emails, I have a hard time with this response.

  Our company uses UTM25 and strive configure the system to use mail notifications settings. I read in several other threads, it requires the use of the SMTP port 25, which does not seem to be supported by a large number of major email service providers (gmail, hotmail, etc.).

  What I have to put in place a special Exchange Server just to send an e-mail from this router? Why can I not use other ports? The admin for our society, it is important that every day I receive alerts of the UTM without having to log on and run them manually.

  BTW: I use an outdated firmware version, but as far as I can see the update notes, new versions of firmware have nothing to do with the SMTP port used for the email notification.

  Try upgrading to 1.3.7 - 0 and then do an update to 1.3.14-0. offline
  You should be able to specify the port now.

  Something happened to my Outlook Express 6.00.2900.5512. I used to have an icon that would come in my taskbar at the bottom right of my screen (I think it's what his name) and chimes would be ding when I received the mail. It does not now.

  The only thing I've done is replace my dead battery backup last week by the same model.

  The sound is not related to this icon. Missing the two? If OE is open and that you send yourself a message you hear the sound?

  Right click on the taskbar | Properties | Tab taskbar | Customize. Find notification of new mail and make sure that the behavior is always display. (It will not appear if there are no unread mail).

  In the control panel. Sounds and Audio devices | Sounds, scroll to its new mail and test. You can also choose a different sound, as it is possible that it has become corrupted.

  If this isn't the case, have you tried a battery pull?

• Lack of New Mail Icon Windows 8 Outlook 2003

  Hello, I use Outlook 2003 with Windows 8, and I can't seem to get the "New mail" icon appears on the taskbar.  I made sure 'show the envelope' is selected in the advanced e-mail settings in Outlook.  I also made sure to specify "Display Notifications and Alerts" to the Outlook to-do bar settings.  I have set up Outlook to work with my email "outlook.com" using Outlook Connector.  The Outlook icon appears correctly in the taskbar every time that Outlook is running on my computer, but the "new mail" icon does not show it when I get the mail.  I have not watched by using VBA to make it happen, but so far, I was unable to understand the appropriate code.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  Outlook 2003 is not compatible with Windows 8.0/8.1, although some received his execution, but most have problems and features that do not work. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.

  We test the automatic configuration of alerts by email of all the alarms of 54 by default since version 5.0 of the device of vCenter.

  Since this is something that we intend to do on all the installations/upgrades, it can be a time-consuming task having to manually set each alarm set on each vCenter so I indicated to an article in the blog of VMpros which appears to address a similar task and who suggests using PowerCLI script to take care of this:

  I fixed the script from its original version because it shouldn't change certain actions of alarm to send alarm notifications at a different e-mail once a week. Instead, we will propose a one-time activity.

  After configuring vCenter server connection information and change the e-mail addresses, I have successfully tested the custom script to add notifications by e-mail to a test alarm (named "Test alarm") to a simple action, that I had created earlier (turn on/off a virtual computer in our laboratory). The added script notifications by e-mail to our alarm test as expected without error.

  Before you change the script to add e-mail notifications to all 54 defect detectors as needed, I decided to test the custom script against one of the predefined alarms (named 'Host the status of material power'). While the script added notifications by e-mail to the alarm 'Material receiving power status' as expected, he finished with errors.

  I just want to make sure that our custom script contains no script errors before using it on all the installations/upgrades (any suggestion or criticism is welcome).

  Okay, I think I found the problem.

  You set 3 actions on this alarm (3 x Email).

  This means that it

  Returns 3 objects (one for each action).

  Unfortunately, the New-AlarmActionTrigger cmdlet wants 1 as input Action, not a table object.

  The solution is to select the Action of explictely for which you want to change the trigger.

  Something like that

  Here when admin ppl rejects the request, an e-mail notification triggered by the user as the application was rejected.
  
  I have three radio buttons in the form
  
  1.submitted (Default).
  2.rejected.
  3.accepted.
  
  When the administrator change request and select rejected box and apply the changes, a notification e-mail should be raised to the user.
  
  Now I have a submit after process of change which is triggered whenever the user press on apply changes and it will send the notification to the user and admin time.
  How do e-mail notification which should be triggered when the administration rejects the request and submit the form?

  Is there a new mail then it is notified by:

  > etc.
  And x = 1, 2, 3 (number of messages)

  But my question is, is - it possible to put this behind the accountname as:
  [email protected] (x)
  > Inbox
  > etc.

  Why i ' am asking this? I have several e-mail accounts. Some of them are test accounts. But do not develop all, because it's a long list. Only the first three mail accounts that I use frequently, so they are developed. But if there are new messages for other accounts, then I see immediately, without first developing the account.

  View (alt + V) menu > folders > unified

  In this way, you see a single Inbox for all accounts with them individually below.
