New ODM GUI?

I noticed that all the new oracle advanced analytical 12 c docs now display new minor nodes of data for graphs, SQL & R scripts, etc..  This requires DB version 12 c, a new version of SQLDeveloper (forthcoming), or both?

Oracle Data Miner GUI 4.0 connected to a Database 11 g 2 + Option AMG adds new graphical node (box, scatter, histogram charts and bar graphs), node SQL query (execute arbitrary SQL scripts and scripts of R), other various improvements and bug fixes.  ODMr4 running on 12 c also supports the new algorithms (Expectation Maximization, PCA, SVD), more integrated/automated Oracle Text integration/Text Mining, prediction details, trees can mine text, TEC.  See the latest presentation of 12 c AIO posted on OTN AAO web site for more information: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/options/advanced-analytics/oaa12cpreso-1964644.pdf

    Vlad,

    The current user interface, Oracle Data Miner Classic, is available on the OTN site. It supports the two Oracle Data Mining 11.1 and 11.2.

    The new user interface, called Oracle Data Miner 11 GR 2 and based on the paradigm of the workflow, is described in the [Blog ODM | http://blogs.oracle.com/datamining/2010/02/get_ready_for_the_new_oracle_data_miner_11gr2_gui_1.html]. Details of availability are discussed here:

    "The new workflow GUI Oracle Data Miner 11 g Release 2 will be available now internally only for Sales Consultants give customer demonstrations controlled by using our server data sets and hosted demo. Sales consultants will be able to download the new GR 11, 2 GUI and connect to the hosted 11 GR 2 ODM demo server.

  • ODM GUI

    I can't find link of GUI for the ODM for the creation of data flow.

    Hi Nasiri,
    Data Miner is a developer SQL extension and is included by default in the installation.
    It is that a UI based workflow is similar to the Clementine unless it's a native db tool and does not require a separate server.
    Here is a link to the tutorials that explain how to install and use Data Miner:

  • Possibilities for new ODM graphical components?

    Is it possible to display a bar chart stacked (with several series) or a bar chart with multiple series in the new graphical component? The image displayed next to the graphic bar looks like a stacked column, but I'm not allowed to select several series for Y axis.

    Also, is it possible to display data that is (now if I select no statistics I get the following error message: "Please resolve the following issues: no aggregation of selected function") and rename the axis labels Y and X (I prefer to avoid a label like sum (column_name))?

    Are there settings that can be made to display on the chart values (not only on the mouse - to-above)?

    Concerning the graphic line, how can I represent several series? Even if I am allowed to select more than one column for the axis, I still see just one line on the graph representing only the first selected column.

    Hello

    When you create a bar chart using a "group by" attribute, groups that result are displayed as stacked bars or as a double there bars (shows juxtaposed groups).  The button in the toolbar of the graph (with the stacked bar chart icon) is used to change this presentation. You can view the data as it is, without aggregation, using point clouds or line cards.  Clouds of points/line charts should allow you to display multiple values Y (series), but there seems to be a bug that causes a single line to display instead.  Several series of graphic bars and allocation of label are not available in the current version.

    Thank you

  • WLC displays a different IP address for LAP in GUI

    Hello

    I have the following problem with a single AIR-WLC2112-K9 controller with 2 KNEES. When I ask the news by GUI for the towers wireless---> name AP (click)---> General Info displayed in the "IP Configuration" not corresponding to the address field appears static IP 172.18.98.2 IP address, but the line above "IP address" shows 156.70.30.5. Controller has IP 156.70.30.3

    I checked the console with the command show ip config lwapp and the IP address is correct.  172.18.98.2.

    any idea?

    It is a hill and well documented issue of the WLC that you can set static IP address to a LWAP.  I use 6.0.188.0 and it's random.  What firmware version do you use?

  • * character automatically into bold text

    Hello

    I was among the "chosen" to test this horrible version of Skype (the one with the new iPhone GUI), and since then, whenever I put any text between the stars (*), the text would turn "BOLD".

    The thing is, I often use stars when you talk to other people for multiple purposes. Smileys, programming, commands, etc. Which means that I'll send their bold text or lines of code that are partly "BOLD", which makes no sense.

    The thing is, I've looked everywhere like crazy to find an option to disable this abominable, but in vain. I even tried downgrading of Skype (I have re-installed an older version)... But once I go back to the previous version (the one with an appropriate interface), the problem persisted. Any text placed between the stars (*) will be in bold, even if I * never * asked for what it is.

    Is there a way to disable this abominable?

    Thank you!

    With the previous 6.21.0.104 version, you can disable this option by modifying the shared.xml file.

  • Try to update the user interface with another thread

    Hello

    Start a class JavaFX from another application, and then I want to change the UI of it components. I tried to use Platform.runLater to do.

    But the GUI crashes at the start (does not display anything) for the first 5 seconds (sleep time) changes and shows.

    I want to display the GUI at first, and then after 5 seconds the GUI should be updated with the message, but with the code it hangs just first and screens below everything after 5 seconds.

    Here sampleGUI is a an application javafx with inside text fields.

    + / public class StartGame extends Application {+
    +@Override+
    + public void start (steps) riser Exception {+
    final sampleGUI gui = new sampeGUI();
    GUI. Start (training);

    + Platform.runLater (new Runnable() {+)
    +@Override+
    + public void run() {+
    + try {+
    System.out.println ("sleep now...");
    Thread.Sleep (5000);
    System.out.println ("sleep above!");
    gui.updateText ("new message");
    +} catch (InterruptedException ex) {+
    System.out.println ("exception" ex); +
    +}+
    +}+
    +});+
    +}+
    +}+
    Platform.runLater(new Runnable() {
      @Override
      public void run() {
       // ...
      }
    });

    causes the run method of the executable to run on the Thread of the FX Application. Since you put Thread.sleep (5000) inside the run method of your executable, sleep occurs on the Thread of the FX Application.

    The call to runLater (...) can be called from any thread, including the Thread of Application FX.

    So, if you are not in the FX Application thread, you want to:

    // any long-running task, for example
    System.out.println("Sleeping now");
    Thread.sleep(5000);
    System.out.println("Sleep over");
    Platform.runLater(new Runnable() {
      @Override
      public void run() {
        // update UI:
        gui.updateText("New Message");
      }
    });

    If you are on the thread of the Application of FX, which is the case in your Application.start (...) method, you must create a new thread to run your code of long duration. You can do this "manually", creating a Thread and a workable for it to run, but it is probably best to use the simultaneity of JavaFX API, which has many hooks useful for updating the user interface on the Thread of the FX Application.

    In this case, the code would look like this:

    public class StartGame extends Application {
      @Override
      public void start(Stage stage) throws Exception {
        final SampleGUI gui = new SampleGUI();
        gui.start();
        final Task waitingTask = new Task() {
          @Override
          public String call() throws Exception {
            System.out.println("Sleeping");
            Thread.sleep(5000);
            System.out.println("Sleep over!");
            return "New Message" ;
          }
        };

        waitingTask.setOnSucceeded(new EventHandler() {
          @Override
          public void handle(WorkerStateEvent event) {
            gui.updateMessage(waitingTask.getValue());
          }
        });

        ExecutorService executor = Executors.newSingleThreadExecutor();
        executor.submit(waitingTask);
      }
    }

    There are (probably of dozens of) other ways to use a task to do. See the API documentation [url http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/concurrent/Task.html] for the task for more information.

  • MVC for ActionListener

    Hello. I have a class(main-package) of the hand that creates the class(view-package) GUI. The GUI class contains JButtons.
    Anyone have an idea how I can add ActionListeners for my JButtons in a 'package of controll' without getting cyclic dependencies?

    Example:

    Main:
    GUI gui = new GUI();
    MyListener list = new MyListener (gui); To allow feedback to listener (controller) GUI

    GUI: Create a button and set its action MyListener
    MyListener list = new MyListener();
    JButton = new JButton();
    a.addActionListener (list);

    MyListener: Contains the GUI and give feedback to her after click
    private GUI gui;

    * public MyListener (GUI gui) {*}
    This.GUI = GUI;
    *}*

    * public void actionPerformed() {*}
    gui.setMyTest ("button clicked!");
    *}*

    But the problem is I get the cyclic dependency. No clue on the approach?
    Hunter_wow wrote: {quotev

    Ok thank you. Tried to put the listener in a template package, but I do get cyclic dependencie for view-> model-> controller-> view... I guess that is expected and impossible to solve?

    You have so fahr is a view (your GUI class/button) and a controller (your ActionListener)
    What you're missing is the model.
    It is not enough to create a package template and put random classes...
    You need (at least) one more class that represents the data that your Application works on. Then the model defines listener interfaces and provides methods addListener used by your elements of GUI for the update on data changes. It also provides methods of data manipulation will be called by the controller.

    If you do it right, you will find you with straight dependencies:
    View depends on controller and model
    -elements 'type display' as Lables become listeners to the model
    - and the "action type" elements as buttons trigger controller objects
    Controller of depends on the model only.
    The model dependent or one of the other.

    In real life generally view and controller are mixed up somehow.
    But the model (that you have so fahr) is always separated.

    Good bye

  • Storage vMotion with advanced vsphere license

    I have the vSphere advanced license that doesn't include a Storage vMotion.

    This does mean that I won't be able to do manually storage vmotion with this license, or is what is not included in the new vSphere GUI?

    You will not be able to make Storage VMotion.

    But many people say Storage VMotion, even when cold migration is performed. Thus, you will not be able to move VMS on another store data seamlessly, without power off VM.

        public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
        {     txtP.setText(txtP.getText()+"after");
        }
    }

    This is because the txtP.getText () returns the text with all the tags. P. ex."".
    By adding something at the end of the content is futile. Just Prser ignores.

    You can use txtP.getDocument () .insertString (txtP.getDocument () .getLength (), "after", new SimpleAttributeSet()); to add something.

    You can get your document of HTMLDocument and use the methods insertBeforeStart, insertBeforeEnd, insertAfterStart, insertAfterEnd different.

  • Conditional "updates" to a method...?

    Well, I am just learning Java... My goal is to learn enough java to convert server of the pattern (in fact dtksh) scripts. My first experience is an example of code of "gui" of "head first Java - Sierra/Bates. The code of the book works fine, but in order to understand how 'classes', 'methods' and 'Listeners' work, I tried to add a Boolean logic for the button.

    The code displays a simple graphical user interface that draws a filled in circle in the central region. Pressing any key causes the circle is redesigned with new colors (random). The second button changes the label text in the Western region. What I want to do is to update the label in the Western region based on the value of the variable 'msg '.

    Because I don't really understand the components, I don't know which code to include, why I included it all the!

    I commented parts I added do not have ' work. In fact, mine works... but not as I want.

    Goal: If 'msg' = 'true', and then change the text of the label of 'REAL' value 'false '.
    If 'msg' = 'false' then change the text of the label of 'FALSE' and the value of msg to ' true
    (Sofare so good... If I change my 'msg' is true or false... it works right exacltly).

    What it does not change the value so the next time the button is pressed, it should be the opposite. Sense repeatidly clicking the button should change the text of Labé of ti true false and false to true.

    Here's the full text... Sorry if this is too long!

    Thank you

    Thank you.

    Good. You have two separate listeners, but in the initialization of your treatment, you choose one of them and use it forever afterwards. The solution to this is to have only one earphone. And this listener must have a conditional logic that decides what text in the label, based on the State of the program at this time.
