WLC displays a different IP address for LAP in GUI

Hello

I have the following problem with a single AIR-WLC2112-K9 controller with 2 KNEES. When I ask the news by GUI for the towers wireless---> name AP (click)---> General Info displayed in the "IP Configuration" not corresponding to the address field appears static IP 172.18.98.2 IP address, but the line above "IP address" shows 156.70.30.5. Controller has IP 156.70.30.3

I checked the console with the command show ip config lwapp and the IP address is correct.  172.18.98.2.

any idea?

It is a hill and well documented issue of the WLC that you can set static IP address to a LWAP.  I use 6.0.188.0 and it's random.  What firmware version do you use?

  • Odisendmail - different email address for different context. Flexfields?

    Hello

I use odisendmail to send alerts for error in the packages.

I want to set up odisendmail to send to an e-mail address in the DEV environment and address e-mail in the Production.

I want to implement odisendmail to take the address of a variable that is defined by the user any, so that when I run the packages in a context of DEV I get an address and when I run in a context of PROD, I get another address.

I think I need to use flexfields for this, but I find very little information on this in the documentation.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve this?

    Thanks in advance

That's OK too... and it's pretty easy once you've wanted to do design-time...

    Simply create a query like:

    Select case when '<%=getContext("CTX_NAME")%> '. "="YOUR_DEVELOPMENT_CONTEXT. "
    = then ' DEVELOPMENT@EMAIL. COM'

    = case when '<%=getContext("CTX_NAME")%> '. "="YOUR_PRODUCTION_CONTEXT. "
    = then ' PRODUCTION@EMAIL. COM'
    of the double

leave the 'is' used just set back from the command

And set this variable in the mode of refresh inside the packaging. (as the select is "double" you can define any logic diagram - oracle in this example)

Is it possible to edit Firefox context menu to the standard address for the displayed Web pages? Often, I want to save an image on a page. Sometimes I "slip" and press "Send Image" when I want to "Save Image under" and sit and wait for the default page - send an email to come, then shut up, juggling its dialog boxes "are you sure". It is a way of trying to manage a blunder. Basically I want an element directly from a page by email. Is it possible that I can simply remove "Send Image" from the context menu?

It is possible with the Menu Editor extension:

  • Can built-in DHCP of WLC provide IP addresses for the wired client?

    Hello

We have a WLC running on 7.0.98.0. It provides IP addresses for users without comment thread. Now, we would like to put a couple of wired posts for customers who do not bring mobile no. I wonder if I put these workstations on the same vlan without comment thread, they can always get IPs of the WLC. If this isn't the case, I put the static IP on these workstations.

    Thanks in advance.

    Robert

    Rob:
The answer is simply "no". WLC cannot provide clients wired on the same VLAN wireless whose IP address if DHCP is configured on WLC.

Fbarboza above metnioned is a 'very' special configuraiton on wireless LANs where the WLC is configured to support some wireline customers and he needs to have two WLCs (the show is called Wired comments). This particular case does not apply to your situation.

With your situation, my answer above apply.

    Note

A internal DHCP server pool will only serve the wireless clients of that controller, not clients of other controllers. Also, internal DHCP server can only serve wireless clients and not wired clients.

  • where can I find the mac address for Airport Extreme

just bought a new Airport Extreme 802.11ac and I don't know here to find the MAC ADDRESS. Can someone tell me where to look. I have the model and serial number, but can not find the MAC ADDRESS.

Is the AirPort Extreme, set up and operation right now... even if he could not have an Internet connection?

If Yes... Open the AirPort on your Mac utility... (Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility)

Hold down the option key on your Mac when you double-click on the image of the AirPort Extreme

The next page will display a summary of the parameters

The AirPort Extreme has done 3 different MAC addresses... Ethernet, WiFi 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi.   If your AirPort Extreme is connected to a modem by an Ethernet cable, then the Ethernet ID is the MAC address.

If the AirPort Extreme has not set up yet at all...

Open AirPort Utility as above, and then click the file menu in the upper left corner of the screen next to the Apple icon

    Click on configure the other

    For address, enter 10.0.1.1

A password is normally not necessary, but if you are prompted for a password, use the word

    public

Click OK, the settings summary page is displayed.  In most cases, given that the AirPort Extreme connects to a modem via an Ethernet connection, you want to use the Ethernet ID as the MAC address.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, you have 90 days of support Apple phone. Call them and maybe they can explain why that should be a very simple task is so difficult.

  • text messages sent with an email address from a touch ipod duplicated on a second ipod touch using a different email address, but the two ipods are controlled by a parent with the same apple ID and password.

Text messages sent with an email address from a touch ipod duplicated on a second ipod touch using a different email address, but the two ipods are controlled by a parent with the same apple ID and password.  This has happened recently.  My two girls have used their respective ipods and texting, without their messages of duplication for each of the other ipods for more than a year.  Somehow recently, both addresses seem to be synced with them or something, so that both see each and other messages.  I've recently updated two ipods, iTunes on my computer--not the cloud and added music for two ipods, but has not changed anything by email email settings or message I know.  Help, please!

  • HP Officejet 6500 has more by using a different IP address than before

I have a HP Officejet 6500 has more. Until yesterday, the printer worked wirelessly with my Mac OS 10.6.8 using the same IP address in IPv4 as the computer. I ran the HP Network Config page and it shows an IP address different today that it did. Is the message that I get when I send a document to print wireless: network host 192.168.1.101 is busy try again in 10 seconds.

I checked the IP address of the printer and it is 192.168.1.100 (not 101). Therefore, they do not speak with each other. I treated all the solutions that I can find on the HP network to see if I can get the two survey periods to match and nothing seems to work. I turned off, turn off router, off modem, printer is off, turned off computer and lit them all back. No help.

Any suggestions? Can I print using USB, but it's embarrassing.

Something doesn't look good - maybe that I misunderstood... You say above, your computer and your printer had the same IPaddress and, when this is the case, you were able to print. Now, the printer and the computer have different IP addresses and now, you are not able to print. If this summary is correct, that then it seems to me that it should be exactly the reverse.

If the IP addresses were the same, there is a conflict between devices, a bit like a mailman trying to deliver mail to two different locations which have the same addresses... What place receives the mail? It is normal for all network devices have their own unique IP address - how each device gets its own mail... or data packets.

From the sounds of things, your printer is 100 but the MAC OS think its 101. Therefore, the print job is sent to 101 and never happens at the printer. You have two options... tell the OS that the printer is located at 192.168.1.100 or that, to avoid this problem in the future, on the IP address of the printer a static address, just guessing anything below 100, as 192.168.1.50 and then specify the operating system that the printer is located to 192.168.1.50.

To make the choice of the latter, you must use your internet browser (Safari) and navigate to the 192.168.1.100 address. There is a web interface for your printer. Look for the network settings, then you can change the way that the IP address is obtained from dynamic (DHCP) static. And, after that, you need to find the IP of 192.168.1.50. It is also important to complete the subnet mask that will be 255.255.255.0. Finally, if your printer includes "web applications", you should also check the DNS addresses. You can use: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google's DNS servers) or 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 (OpenDNS servers)

Note that when you save / apply the changes, you will lose your connection to the webinterface of the printer as the printer will have a new address. To return to the printer web interface, access the new static IP address.

As far as to say where actually the MAC OS printer, the simplest option, as appropriate, is to use the HP tool to add a network printer or a device. To do this, AFTER you change the IP address. The HP software will scan the network printer and it should give you a result that shows the printer to the new static IP address. Installing and if possible, the name of the printer with a few references of "static HP or the"HPat192.168.1.50"set as default printer and remove the old definition of HP printer.

The other option to speak the printer MAC must use Add a printer via system preferences > printer/Fax. I'm fairly certain that the MAC tools can analyze the LAN... in any case, it will be a more complicated procedure. Better for a user MAC more warned give assistance if you go this route.

    Hope this helps

  • EqualLogic GroupManager displays a different number of replicas, 2 outgoing and incoming 1.

GroupManager displays a different number of replicas, 2 outgoing and incoming 1.  Is this a normal behavior?

I raise this question to technical assistance from Dell.  They checked with their lab environment and confirmed the same behavior.  There is no functional cause whose status is displayed like this.  Two points, they said:

    (1) the number of the line leaving includes the history of replication.   It will show you an extra line in addition to the number configured in the replica set. (in my case, it's 1 (configured) + 1 (extra), so 2 total)

    (2) the number of the replica by entering the real number of replica set used for the function of data redundancy.

  • No display of the IP WAN for new customer

I added an OnPlus device to a new client yesterday and when I checked on it today, it was not to display an IP address for the customer's Internet connection.  If I'm in the OnPlus portal, I can't open a browser for all devices, I get an error of tunneling.  The Portal shows the devices within the network, so it seems to be functional.

This customer has a Cisco 1811 on their network perimeter.  Is there some port that must be available for the OnPlus to function?  I did not have this problem with other customers before but this one seems to have the greatest perimeter security.

    Thank you.

(Note there WAN IP address for the last customer in the picture)

I understand.  I'm not a big fan of documentation until it does not work the first time.  ;-)

    Outbound.

What are the outbound ports I need to open for service OnPlus communicate?

The OnPlus service will take to the following outgoing ports be opened:

    • Port UDP 53 (DNS)
    • The port TCP 80 (HTTP)
    • The port UDP 123 (NTP)
    • The port TCP 443 (HTTPS)
    • Port TCP 11300 (OnPlus pulse)

For improved OnPlus features, the following outgoing ports will also be opened:

    • Port UDP 14931 (monitoring of the performance of the Wan via the Agent network OnPlus)
    • 11400 TCP (remote device connections)

What are the incoming ports must be opened for service OnPlus communicate?

No entering the ON100 port must be opened. All connectivity will come from the ON100 serving OnPlus.
