• 'New' application iBooks will not transfer pdf to iPad files

  OK, people, I'm just an order of jacked-up at McDonald's away from a stroke...

  When I went to sync my iPad this morning, I found adding .pdf files to my library on 'Books' iTunes no longer works, because Apple has placed all these reading materials in a new iBooks on my desktop application. I keep a large number of files (scanned notes of meetings and other) on my iPad. I name with the date on the calendar on which they were created so that I can find them easily, and I have also place is several different files in iBooks on the iPad, grouped by topic. It worked very well for a long time.

  Well, after having (involuntarily) loading the iBooks app on my desktop and adding several new files him via 'add to library' (the same that it worked in iTunes) and then sync my iPad, these new files did not it happen.   OK, I found that I missed...

  Although the instructions in iBooks on the desktop what it sound like everything now comes through the app, it actually does not interfere with the way the iPad sync process worked throughout the pdf files created by the user. The "books" category is no longer present in the drop-down list you get when you click 3 points to the right of the icon "TV Shows" when the iPad is not connected, but he fact see the top in the dropdown under device icon when your iPad is connected.   It really depends on how the images are used. If it's a book of photos where the images are the main value of the book and then you need the extended licenses. If they are used as cover or sometimes illustrate something that is in the book so that you can use the license standard up to 500,000 copies.

• iBook Clamshell detects no no new internal hard drive

  I have an iBook Clamshell (M2453 PC, 300 MHz) and I just replaced the old 6 GB hard drive with a new hard drive 60 GB. The new drive is a regular 2.5 "IDE/PATA drive. I don't know the brand or the rpm of the road, because the seller provides various brands/rpm and I didn't check before installing. I'm guessing this is a Hitachi, Seagate, Fujitsu, etc. either 5400 or 7200 RPM. I don't think that is important, because the drive came in a clean condition and has been formatted. The problem is that when I try to install OS X 10.3 on the new drive hard, it is not detected at all. It does not appear on the screen "Select Destination", the startup disk, or disk utility. Disk utility shows only the OS X install CD, nothing else. I confirm that this isn't for lack of the CD, as I used it many times in the past to install OS 10.3 on other Macs. I tried to reset the NVRAM, PRAM, I even tried the PMU button under the screen, but nothing has worked. However, the old hard drive with OS 9.2 worked perfectly, and I've made sure to connect everything correctly when I replaced the drive, does this mean a new is simply defective, or there at - it another option to try to fix? I don't disassemble the laptop again, but if I have no choice I will do what I must. Thanks in advance.

  If disk utility is not able to detect the hard drive, it could indicate a problem with the drive, the hard drive cable or control circuits in the computer. Disk utility should see at least the reader as such, even if a volume is not displayed.

  As a first step, if you have access to a proper record of the Mac OS (9.x), you can test the configuration of disk utility instead (just to see if the hard drive can be detected at all). Also, disk utility on a PowerPC (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PowerPCFAQ) to a proper Ubuntu CD version could possibly used for similar drive information research and test operations on your computer.

  I try to import an epub I created on another platform in iBooks author in order to edit it there and re-export as an epub. When you choose file > new epub file and I choose a model, epub models are not available. No idea why? No work around? I don't see why I can't create an epub from an any epub.

  I don't think that iBA has the functionality you need.  You start with a model of epub and add things to it.

  You must use another application to edit your original epub.  Apple won't do anything for this AFAIK.

  Unfortunately, you will not be able to use an old base station 802.11 g with current 802.11n or 802.11ac in a scope base station or types of roaming networks.

  The only option I see, but a 'disorder', would be to use the base station older as another way to access the Internet just for the iBook. It would say that you need connect to your current modem and basically disable your network existing in use. I was hoping to find a USB wireless adapter for your iBook that supports WPA or WPA2, but some initial research has transformed the empty. Sorry! They're portable old neat and I can understand why always wanting to get some use out of it.

  Tests I've done:

  -force quit all applications

  -iBookstore vs home made (iBooks author) books

  -WiFi off

  -data cell iBooks out

  -Phone off then on again

  -Phone restarted

  -Downloaded a new book

  -Go straight to the store once launched the app

  Normally, my next step would be to remove the app and redownload, but iBooks is now installed with the operating system, there is no x to delete the application.

  The main reason that I went to the largest phone was because of the way that lots of reading I was doing on children 5 years old, so it is an important for me!

  Hey Chris bolt,

  If I understand correctly, an application that is preinstalled on the OS crashes whenever you try to open it. Normally, we would like to uninstall and reinstall the application. Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem.

  I see that when you open a book in iBooks library window, you see a transparent area on the screen where the iBook should be.   If I understand your question, you have apps on your iPhone 6 that are not displayed in your library on your new computer HP iTunes, is that correct?

  You can download all recent purchases on the iTunes Store on your computer, if you wish.   Here's how:

  On a Mac or a PC

  You can re-download apps for iOS in iTunes devices and apps for your computer in the Mac App Store.

  From iTunes

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. If you are not logged in, sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. In the MenuBar at the top of your screen, computer or at the top of the iTunes window, select account > bought. If you are a member of a family sharing group, you might see family purchases instead of buying.

  4. In the upper right corner of the iTunes window, click on applications.
  5. Click on 'Not in my library' to the purchased display content that is not on your computer.
