• Why Muse crash when using embedded HTML

  Hi, I am currently using a trial version of Muse, I love this programm. I'm used to working in InDesign and Muse done all this seems very logical to me.

  I'm working on the tutorial for KatiesCafe, part 4. His starts by "with the help of embedded HTML to display a blog on a site of Muse'. When I paste the link as shown in the tutorial, or choose Insert HTML, Muse crashes.

  Can you please help me, because now I'm stuck. And that I would complete the entire tutorial.

  This thread is a change Google made in June that Muse has long workarounds included for (if you don't see this accident in current versions).

  This recent crash is due to a different very recent change for the video player from YouTube. There is a video widget YouTube replacement available on the exchange of the Muse http://muse.adobe.com/exchange-library/youtube-widget-without-poster> which avoids this accident by not providing an image of the poster in Muse Design and no display video mode overview of the Muse. It is an interim solution while we are working on changes that are much more important to reduce the probability of this kind of compatibility problems in the future.

  I am running a printing service and using the printer HP Laserjet Printer 1606dn (I used also other models, such as the Laserjet 1006, Laserjet 1300 and other models).

  I have a problem with the speed when printing on pages that are narrow as A4 (need to my client that I print on the pages of 26.9 x 18.8 cm). I need to print a large number of pages a day, and during the test with the same paper in A4, it prints very fast. But when printing on the page size to custom, the printer get a single page, impression on her (very fast), but then he wait about 15 seconds to get the next page.

  I found a solution. It has to do with the sensors.

  In the upper part of the printer, where the book comes out, there are 3 sensors, one on the left, one in the middle and one on the right. They are little pieces of plastic that opened or closed from the optical sensors (I think).

  When a page dies, it activates the sensors. When a page is close, active not one (or two) sensors on the sides.

  I tested this way: I put my narrow paper not centered, but on the right. The sensor on the left, I 'activated', by placing a small piece of paper under the sensor (it seems like a paper go there). And... it works!

  PRINT FAST!

  But as BLLuten said, it might overheat the fuser unit.

  So, my question now... is what would happen in case of overheating of the fuser unit? (or, in the printers HP, Fuser will get overheated?)

  I think I'll work with this little hack, but with a fire extinguisher to next to me, as a precaution.

  When you use HP ePrint on my Ipad, to print on my printer wireless HP Photosmart C4580, I can choose a range of pages to print?  It doesn't seem to be an option for this.

  Of course, have only the pages you want to print all together up in the attachment.  Now send it to your printer and only will show them.

  I downloaded the ultimate video Widget and when I try to 'add a file', Muse freezes and the only way to unlock is to force a shutdown.  Tried to reinstall the Muse, but nothing helped.  Anyone has any ideas or you know a video widget that works.

  Update.  It is a problem of Windows 10 and it works on Windows 7.  It seems that the ultimate video Widget is not compatible with Windows 10.

  I have install the sections on the DPS producer portfolio and look at my app and I see several screenshots of the homepage of each section, so I can download each section individually... I have two questions:

  (1) if I don't set or enter a section name in a whole pile of the article, it will not appear on the list of sections, how will I know how to download?

  (2) if I only download a section, is it considered a full download to my folio downloads?

  I am able to solve the problem by setting the file name in the header respose.  According to the forums IE11, security levels are enhannced in it, and they expect the header contains the information of the file.

  Add this line, file name with extension

  response.setHeader ("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename = "+ file name)."

  After you add it, the file name is displayed correctly and 'opens' option is available in the dialog box.
